I would love this much more if they didn't go with the love-at-first-sight plot. It was so unnecessary. All those scenes where they are suddenly close and blushing - what am I supposed to feel when I don't even know them, and they don't know each other either. Their first meeting was okay, and if the lawyer is attracted to him (he seems to be a shallow guy anyway) that would make sense, but both are suddenly into each other just because ...? It's lakorn style, I know. But give me some spice and not those cheesy scenes. I feel like this goes into the category "wasted potential".
I have seen some people saying how Krist is unattractive in this series, plastic face, strange smile, but everyone is over the moon because of Gawin being so hot and handsome.
But to be fair, even without Kawi meddling with his life, he was doomed to be unhappy. In the very first timeline,…
Honestly, I don't know many hetero (or gay) couples who are happy ever after, where I live a third of all marriages get a divorce, so to think that a woman with a gay guy will be happy ever after is very optimistic.
Your man cheats on you with another woman - bad. Your man is into other men - very bad. Your man tells you he is tans - the worst. But that's just me, I guess. Those couples when the children are older most likely get a divorce and he will be with another man sooner or later.
Okay, they finally got together! But there are still 4 episodes left... this being a GMMTV BL, that only means…
What angst and conflict, though? What am I missing? They are together now. Will this cause problems with Pear? Or problems with Pisaeng's mother? She isn't really accepting, but she doesn't fight his homosexuality either. So what is the issue now? They could wrap this up in only two episodes.
I could not get into this show after two episodes, but after episode 3? I got so engrossed and binged the other…
He even talked with his mother about him being gay. How often do you hear a character in Thai BL calling himself gay? Somehow everyone is into men, but nobody is gay.
GMMTV BLs are the only once I still watch. Taiwan, Korea, Japan - very disappointing. Especially Korea. I had…
Couldn't agree more about Korean BL. With Where My Eyes Linger, Mr. Heart, To My Star they started out great and I had high hopes. But since then everything feels so flat. It starts with the production values, it's all so boring, no color, boring looking actors, boring dialogues, it takes you half an episode just to understand what this is even about. Semantic Error was fun and colorful, though. The Eight Sense wasn't that bad either and felt pretty fresh and unique, but the story itself wasn't very original. I read Japanese black-and-white Shounen Ai/Yaoi manga for over 20 years, (yes, I'm that old), but I always had a hard time getting into the colorful webcomics from Korea or even China. I feel like they make a live action of the most boring stuff out there.
Taiwan ... I liked We Best Love, some HIStory series, Trapped was nice, Make Our Days Count was unpredictable, but now ... nothing there to watch.
But to be fair, even without Kawi meddling with his life, he was doomed to be unhappy. In the very first timeline,…
Pear is doomed. First time marriage with a gay guy, then relationship with someone who is in love with said gay guy, then third try marriage with Not. I wonder how the writers will fix that.
Future Pisaeng finally growing a spine & cutting himself out of Kawi's life was satisfying. It took him a decade…
But to be fair, even without Kawi meddling with his life, he was doomed to be unhappy. In the very first timeline, he wanted to marry a woman despite being gay. How did he think that would work out for him and Pear? So those characters are all capable of making their life miserable even without Kawi being involved.
People hate on Krist, also the story is not really mainstream, not easy to process. I think when they keep this…
I enjoy the series a lot, because it's very interesting and complex, but I don't really like the characters, if that makes sense. It reminds me a lot of To My Star 2 where I also had an issue with where the story was going, but I watched it eagerly to the very end.
Krist had no chemistry with Singto. To this day, I have no idea why people were so much into this couple. But…
He clicks with Gawin in real life. They are both pretty chill and a bit crazy. I think Krist doesn't look like it, he seems rather reserved. And Gawin was always a bit quite, but now he is pretty bold and fun. So it feel like they can be themselves around each other.
Singto was rather soft and more serious, if that makes sense.
of course there is a new hater in the comments...lol dont yall get tired? anyway as someone who used to be obsessed…
Krist had no chemistry with Singto. To this day, I have no idea why people were so much into this couple. But back then in 2016 ... we were all thirsty for ... something. I liked the series, because it was well written, especially the part with the Sotus system.
lol ... Krist is acting awkward, and you finding him creepy means he does a good job. You're not the first one who complains about his looks. Someone said he had plastic surgery. In the future scenes (ep 7 & 8) he looks exactly like back then in Sotus. Didn't age a day. So it's called "acting".
I respect your opinion but I disagree. I think their chemestry is perfect. I didn't know Krist before this but…
Watch Sotus. I didn't even like it, because I wasn't a fan of the pairing, but it was for the longest time one of the best written BLs (maybe it still is), because of the many life lessons it provided. Back then BL was only about boys love, not about anything else. Krist is great in it. He was only around 20 back then. Very impressive.
i probably praising this series too much but thats just how good it is. BMF feels very refreshing in this sea…
GMMTV BLs are the only once I still watch. Taiwan, Korea, Japan - very disappointing. Especially Korea. I had high hopes, but they don't bring something new to the table. GMMTV on the other hand always explores new genres and new stories.
We cover our face when we feel ashamed. I love how real this show is. We were not the only ones thinking that…
There I have to give you a thumbs up! I think the cliffhanger in ep 7 was a bit unfortunate when you can't binge-watch the series. We were left to believe, Pisaeng would take any bs from Kawi.
It's lakorn style, I know. But give me some spice and not those cheesy scenes. I feel like this goes into the category "wasted potential".
The Asians themselves are racist against their own.

He was good to begin with, only 20 years old back then.
