yeah it's heartbreaking. the webtoon and the first half of the show had so much potential to make this one of the top dramas of the year imo.

Yeah I'm probably going to finish it as well. If there were more than 2 more episodes left I definitely wouldn't but at this point I might as well see the whole story. Still think it would have done better as an 8 ep drama and ended there

Yeah lol. Due to the holidays I had both 11 and 12 to watch. Watched 11 started 12 and got like 10 mins in until I turned it off. The show imo sadly went way downhill after 8 or 9

Suspension of belief is required in a lot of media, yes. However this scene was beyond that because it not only was a completely stupid move for her to go there alone, it was also completely out of character. If she was a naive dumb girl the whole time, then sure, send her there. This scene was just lazy writing to get her into the hospital and find the body. Could have done that many other ways that would have meshed better with the story.

Correlating wondering why she went there with "oh you must think cupids are real" because both aren't realistic is a bit of a stretch

Even beyond that, the text asked her not to tell the detective, yet the detective is already there? If the victim was telling both of them and wanted to meet with both of them, she wouldn't gaf if BR told the detective about the text

I see your point but I think they are heavily implying him to have a twist when you see who the real killer is. Kind of like they did in My Demon with the Dad and son.

A lot of information showing it is her lover has been shown, but there have been subtle hints towards other people. I personally think it is going to wind up being Eun Soo's husband because he said that Eun Soo was his nurse when he got hurt 29 years ago and the fact that he tried so hard to find Baek Ryun. I think he met Eun Soo when he got hit with the truck, fell in love and changed his ways. Then he caught her cheating on him and he never used the Adultery book prior so it triggered him again, especially since it was so personal.

One thing that confuses me, maybe I missed something in the earlier episodes but why is SH the only cupid that is forbidden to love? Like the Dog one continuously has had gfs between his transformations, the tall one had implied relationships in the past and the annoying one that has too much screen time never had a chance before but the god and the other cupids didn't stop him from trying, even though he is way more problematic than SH. Did I miss something? Why he is being punished individually between the 4?

Haven't started Death's Game or GC yet because of this, My Demon and My Man is Cupid already takes most of the weekend lol. The Fri-Sat time slot recently has been amazing

TBH I am close to dropping it but if you go in with the mindset that it is an 8 episode drama and stop after 8 you'll enjoy it. Ep 8 even ends in a way that would be mostly satisfying if the drama ended there. 1-8 story was great then 9 was cute 10 on so far has basically been a 180 in a bad way imo. Sad that the last 2-3 episodes is what has been tanking the score here. If it stopped at 8 i could see this being 8.7-8.8 final ratings but if it keeps up the way it has been my guess is final rating will be 7.4-7.6

Honestly, a lot of this show is out of place including the punk look. Her appearance there made 0 sense at all. The writing imo is going all over the place and yet no where at the same time. At this point, I'm just watching to finish it and turn my brain off for a couple hours a week.
I just meant I didn't ever picture her in an outfit like that but she pulled it off well.

At first the weekly airing annoyed me. At this point I think they made the right call because I don't think I can do 2 hours a week on this show lol

He is by far my least liked character. Other than ML, all the fairies seem self-absorbed but he is on another level. I don't think his story line adds to the overall story at all, I don't even find humor in his scenes.... just pity..
edit watching ep 10 made me despise him even more. self-absorbed isn't even half of his issues

I've only just finished ep 6 and to me the first 2 or 3 episodes were great and at this point they are hovering between ok and good. Honestly, I still like it and am probably going to keep watching it but it is never my first choice when I turn on the tv. Reading what you and others wrote, it appears to keep going downhill and making me wonder if it is worth attempting another 6 hours of this show or dropping it at this point

That might be part of it, but I get the same vibes even in the scenes they aren't together in. Something in general is just off-putting to me

Yeah that's what I was meaning in my post lol. Yeon Woo was always sheltered because of her lineage which hindered her in both eras and Sa Wol being a commoner and having a completely different upbringing gave her street smarts that helps her in both eras

exactly this. I think the show shows it well too. Sa Wol and Yeon Woo came from the same time and the commoner of ancient times, while still wanting to go home, has made the best of it and integrated where as the noble lady is showing just how sheltered she was. Noble daughters in most of the worlds history were more like loved bargaining chips. Used for alliances and business deals and so they had to be sheltered and kept safe to be able to be used by both her family and her grooms family
