Just got around to this. It's pretty good so far but a lot of characters do dumb things that really is just mind boggling. Right now in ep6 there's a rubber hose at least 7" into the room pumping gas into it at a rate you can HEAR yet you put a finger by it to see if somethings coming out? Any rational person would kink that shit as soon as they see/hear it
How delusional can the bully bitch be? All this evidence saying that Su-Min lied about everything and the roles were reversed in who coveted who and she still thinks Ji-Won is lying? What else does she need ffs?
Other than the common rebirth trope, they are nothing alike. plot, style, locations, etc. are all different
PMR is very Makjang. MMH so far has funny moments but I don't think I would consider it a romcom. If you are looking for a light, fun romcom you won't find that in MMH
Hee Yeon is my favorite character so far. She is the cutest, most adorable side character I think I've ever seen; both visually and personality wise lol. Surprised its a newer actress, imo she's ready and deserves some lead roles

Sadly, a lot of people are comparing them, but they are so different. I personally think it's people that PMR was their first rebirth revenge show so they only have it to compare it to
With each episode I can't stand Dong -Gu more and more. He gets way way way too much screen time and it is the most annoying side story line i swear. Why have you been a virgin for 500 years? Because you are an awkward irritating narcissist. There ya go
true 😭😭 just dont take this drama that seriously and i rlly think it’ll be enjoyable, either way its enjoyable…
This is exactly what I wound up doing lol. I was fully invested at the start, not so much any more. It's just an enjoyable show to relax for a bit each week
Many of these people who know nothing about rebirth dramas are new drama watchers. Its Unfortunate we have to…
Not gonna lie... He is pulling off the deranged abusive asshole A LOT better than I expected him to. Glad he is doing the role and hopefully it will help his career because once you're typecast, you can't grow at all. Successful and famous, yes, but still considered a lower rate actor because you only have 1 "shtick."
I also don't feel the chemistry... I think FL actress is wrongly cast...
lol Park Bo Young is my 2nd pick for BR. I think Chae Soo Bin would have nailed it. Love Nana though but all of you are right. She would be better in a more serious role
the cafeteria thing didn't happen on the same day as the past. atleast from my understanding, it should just happen…
Yeah I think she was just remembering a similar incident. KJW prior to rebirth would have gone to the Indian restaurant I'm pretty sure. It looks like whatever JSM and PMH wanted, she just did. At least that's how I took her character before the rebirth
Why are so many people comparing this to PMR? Other than the rebirth revenge trope, the story is entirely different so far.
In PMR, it was more revenge against her family not her ex-husband. All Yi-Joo did to him really was dump him. Everything else was directed at step-monsters 1 and 2. So far in MMH, all revenge is directed straight at ex-husband and friend
MMH is a workplace romance, PMR is not
While still early in the show, MMH doesn't have a bunch of subplots where PMR had like 15 by the end of episode 2.
PMR was overtly melodramatic throughout and MMH, while being melodramatic-ish, isn't any where near being like a daytime soap that PMR was
I loved PMR and so far I am enjoying MMH. I'm just baffled on how many comments are saying this is basically a rip-off of PMR. The rebirth tropes been around forever, PMR didn't pioneer it
not really. if you follow webtoons, you'd see that there are a million out there with this same exact formula.…
Yeah the whole concept of whatever happened before still has to happen now is unique in my experience. It's a nice twist on the common rebirth trope and I'm interested to see how else it plays out throughout the drama
The ending caused me to drop half a star. Overall, the show is pretty good but the ending was super rushed and not seeing MLs face at the end made it very awkward. I would say it's the most awkward ending I've seen in a KDrama to date
He defied the fate of the court( palace) maid and the king. The arrow he shot was meant for their love to be sealed…
This makes sense. The scene where he shot himself showed clearly that it wasn't on purpose, a higher power had to have intervened imo because that shit was like a radar locked boomerang to him lol. I don't know what Samsins deal is concerning SH, but maybe the reason BR doesn't have the red string is because the child god (who seems maybe higher/stronger? that Samsin?) is bringing them together throughout the ages?
Would be interesting to know the status of Detectives red string. It seems he is fated to be with BR but she doesn't have one, so does he also not? or is it tied somewhere else, which would show they were never fated to be together? We shall see this weekend :)
TBH I am close to dropping it but if you go in with the mindset that it is an 8 episode drama and stop after 8…
Yeah I never officially rate shows until I complete them personally. I was thinking 8.5 or 9 originally would be mine after it was done and now I'm at 6.5 :/. Still 2 episodes left though so hopefully it can finish strong and bring me back up into the 7s.
