Even in the first scene with the prosecutor, you could tell which way he was leaning. She asked about the autopsy and he said it's not done yet, then he added the tidbit about the vEDS, and even showing the postit for spelling and clarification, which he was under no obligation to disclose yet (At least in the US, it would have to be told to the defense, but only after the autopsy was completed I believe). Ethically he was in the clear with just saying they didn't have the autopsy back yet.

Then when they expanded that scene towards the end to show he obviously didn't care to indict the Dr and only told her hoping she'd be smart enough to use the ammunition in a way that allows him to not indict

I still don't like Mae's dad because of the fake sickness thing, but I think ep 6 kind of sealed the debate on which of their fathers are worse. Ai's dad is honestly just an evil piece of shit, he gets my blood boiling every time he's on the screen now. Excited for ep 7, I really want to see the blowback on Ai finding the bug and how Yam deals with the assholes threat

I hope there is some focus on it tomorrow. They opened the door nicely with him bringing in the divorce case for them to work on together. If they don't use that to further their relationship I'd actually be mad

I can't understand how being drunk is a legitimate defense there. They are super strict about drunk driving, but it seems like any other crime can get a reduced sentence just because they were drunk when they commited it

Even though it was still definitely Hyo Min being the main one, it was nice to see the other first years actually have a part to play in a case for once. I think they all had more screen time in this one episode than they had in all the others combined honestly. Hoping, even while knowing it won't happen, that tomorrows episode opens Choi coming home. It would be hilarious to see her finding the "big scary boss" babysitting her sisters and the house full of food lol. Poor girl is going to be so confused

Exactly. She needs to pick, either be with Pure or let Pure heal and move on. I'm personally team Loft, but I'm not against Pure and Air getting back together if it happens soon, but the longer that she strings Pure along, the less and less I'm willing to accept from her. She's making it impossible for Pure to move on, yet also making it clear they won't be together and just sticking Pure into a horrible emotional state imo

I feel bad for Air's situation being in a forced loveless marriage, but she's honestly just emotionally torturing Pure at this point. How can you sit there and tell your ex to move on and not be hung up on you, while at the same time always showing up at their work, having coffee delivered to them, flirting with them, etc. Everything makes it look like they had an amazing relationship that wouldn't have ended if the forced marriage didn't happen, so you still playing the gf role hard, while simultaneously telling her to get over you, like how do you expect her to do that? You're making it impossible for her to move on and then keeping her at arms length. There's only 2 things you can do that would be acceptable imo. Either cut Pure out of your life completely so she can heal, or get divorced and go back to Pure immediately.

I don't think so? She seems to just kind of do her own thing. Like, she outranks them but is just in their department. It seems like Jin U is the junior partner/senior associate in charge of the first years, then Yun is the overall boss of the department.

Exactly, and it's kind of annoying to me lol. I'm pretty good with names of characters in shows, and I honestly have no idea what any of their names are, and they're on screen so little that unless all 3 are together I probably wouldn't even realize they are one of the other first years without context

There's definitely a cute budding romance between the 2nd leads, main leads are up in the air right now

Even though I liked the scene where Yun called her Attorney Kang after she won the case, there was no reason for the other first years to be there really, and that kind of just cemented the fact to me that they are only there to make her stand out as the best.

Like, almost every scene they've been in always winds up being a "Hyo Min is right/on top/etc" scene, and they add nothing else to the story. They haven't even used the fact that one of them was her classmate and it seems was crushing on her in ep 1 at all. At least he should have some type of story line since they've known each other for years

Does anyone else feel like the geography of this show was super confusing? Like, Chom moved to an apartment to be "closer to work," but then her excuse of moving back in with her mom was that it was closer. Maewnam was easily able to go to the store every day to see Wan, and the Mouse Mart was being built close to Wan's shop, but Maewnam's idea to her stepdad was to put it closer to the college so the students would use it, then Manmook's idea in ep 9 made all the students go to her store. It seems like everything is within like 5-10 minutes of each other, but they use the school as a distance excuse, except when they don't. Like, if everything is that close together, wouldn't the Mouse Mart being at the college still steal all Wan's business? I just found it so confusing and contradictory for most of the show lol.

MilkLove in black and white couples dresses is honestly just pure fire. They look so good together in general and their date outfits are honestly just wow

I said this in a comment before, but GMM did them dirty making their first relationship so messy and annoying. I think visually they fit together pretty well and would love to see them as a cute couple in something, but their storyline was just annoying in this frankly.

I'm a LingOrm fan and literally only still watching it because it's them, but it's really not that good. It's watchable, but like you said about the Ayla's hair in ep 1, it's obvious that Ch3 just tried to pump this out to collect the payday. As much as I love LO, there is absolutely no chance I would rewatch this show, it's a 6.5 at best to me, if it were actresses I don't have any investment in, I would have dropped it and rated it below 5 already

I don't agree with, but am used to forced marriages like Air's in dramas. What's extremely annoying with hers though is her mother's attitude and behavior so far. Like, yeah you can force your daughter to marry someone she doesn't want to, but you can't be surprised or pissed when she doesn't love them or even actively despises them (she doesn't despise him, seems like she's just resigned to it and wants to live her life as best she can, really.) Then bringing her ex to his birthday party, like what's the point in that? Just rubbing it in to your daughter or what? Then she has the audacity to say "Mind your manners," like, do you even know wtf that word means? Where tf are your manners?!?

I think Ai's are entirely genuine, Mae is the wildcard to me.
