Ru really that stupid? U want her sister go to jail just bcz she defended herself?
You literally commented "If this were a man he would have been jailed within 5 seconds," acting like she didn't get arrested. She got arrested and went to jail very shortly after assaulting him.
yeah I saw those comments and quickly blocked them. Sigh.
The 2 big ones that are more commonly talked about are Korea and Israel. Korea has a mandatory draft, but only for males, women can join voluntarily though. Israel has a mandatory draft for both genders.
The US draft is designed to be used only in like an "Oh Shit" situation. There hasn't been a draft in the US since Vietnam
I'm following the Johnny Somali case (because honestly, fuck that guy) and I know they do it for drama's sake, but it's funny how quickly cases get done in this show compared to real life. He only goes to court for like an hour or 2, then the next scheduled date is at least a month later, whereas everything in the show happens within days
Jin U having no idea how important that camcorder was to her, but realizing that it really mattered to her even though she was downplaying it and using his connections to get it fixed for her within hours is like next level green flag.
He didn't know or care why, and only even asked what was on it after it was already being same day repaired, really more for conversations sake than anything too
I would disagree. The reason you've outlined for Mae's dad being preferable to AI's dad is actually what makes…
I don't watch previews so didn't see that. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt that dragging Ayla away was like a kneejerk reaction to finding out who Tawan's dad is. But yeah, if he's going to lock her up and stick with the assholery then he isn't how he first seemed
I came into this show not expecting romance since it wasn't even a subtag, let alone an actual genre of the show.…
That's kind of my point lol. Someone added it as an actual genre, like this is a romance drama. There's been nothing at all that makes it a romance drama. Yes, it's possible, and I agree that slight romance tag would be applicable, but marking as an actual romance drama is just a flat out lie
I don't understand how it can be legal for the same firm to represent both parties in a suit like this. Even if they have an "ethical wall" like they are saying they have, and are able to completely separate all information, I feel like it's still objectively wrong. Like, even if they do no wrong at all, if the party that awards the firm more money wins, I can easily see the losing party suing the firm for conflict of interest and actually having a case. Even if it's legal, I don't think it would be worth the risk as a law firm, but I'm also not a lawyer or know US law, let alone SK law, so what do I know lol
The Jin U and Min Jeong dynamic is honestly adorable. They are so cute together, even when they are bickering. I actually hope they get together even more than I care about the leads getting together lol
I would disagree. The reason you've outlined for Mae's dad being preferable to AI's dad is actually what makes…
Ayla's dad was also cool with them dating until he found out that Tawan is his rivals/traitors daughter. He overall seems pretty chill about everything other than that, but we will have to see next week. I can't write him off yet though, since we don't know what happened between him and Tawan's dad. I do think though that he should have taken into account that she changed her surname and doesn't even speak to the asshole though, so they are really on the same side when it comes to him.
That's one thing I will never get no matter how many Asian shows I watch. Culturally, it seems all the countries are big on generational guilt, and I hate that. Nobody should be judged on what their parents or grandparents did, they should be judged strictly as themselves imho.
I would disagree. The reason you've outlined for Mae's dad being preferable to AI's dad is actually what makes…
Yeah, none of the ones I mentioned were really in the lakorns a lot, but I think they still fit
- Ongsa's dad was actually disappointed that she thought he would have a problem with her loving a girl (23.5) - Sun's dad (and mom really) were like the gold standard for parents of a teenager (23.5) - Wan's dad died before they got together, but flashbacks showed that he knew about her previous wlw relationship and was fine with it (WS) - Maewnam's stepdad seemed to legitimately be willing to change his huge corporations business plans strictly off her ask, but it was too late to do so (WS)
None of them were really present in the shows, because they were already so chill about everything and didn't add any drama to the show

For sure, but as an example Friendly Rivalry isn't marked as a romance, because it isn't, but I think it's fair to say there was more romance and tension between HyeRi and SuBin in that than there has been between Jin Wook and Chae Yeon (at least so far) in this.
It could absolutely end up having them be together, but it doesn't merit the romance tag and that tag is extremely misleading for people that want to see them as a couple.
I would disagree. The reason you've outlined for Mae's dad being preferable to AI's dad is actually what makes…
MilkLove has always had good dads. Ongsa and Wan's dad (Milk) were both completely cool with everything and flat out loving, Sun and Maewnam's (step)dad (Love) were completely in their daughters corner.
I get the point you're making, and I agree. But those are examples of good dads in GL lol
Is there really romance between the two main leads? He actually feels more like her father, and I never thought…
I came into this show not expecting romance since it wasn't even a subtag, let alone an actual genre of the show. IMO, it can go either way at this point, there's enough there to where it can turn into a romance, be a 1 sided crush, or be a straight up mentor/mentee relationship.
I'm sticking around because the cases are actually interesting, and the leads are doing a good job making the legal world seem interesting and occasionally finding niche ways to win their cases.
It actually really annoys me that MDL makes it almost impossible to alter anything on a dramas page, yet they gleefully added a romance tag to this without any actual proof. I've yet to see ANYTHING other than MDL mark romance on this show. The only plausible thing to me is someone that has mod rights is a shipper of the leads and unilaterally decided to add it, even though there's no other source saying it
I would disagree. The reason you've outlined for Mae's dad being preferable to AI's dad is actually what makes…
I absolutely agree that Mae's dad is trash, and I can see your point.
My thoughts though are even though Ai's dad is also physically violent, he also plays the emotional abuse game with her. They both suck completely, but if I were to be forced to pick one, I would pick the singular type of abuse over both
Yes but like the antagonist said it was an internal policy made by the ML. And there are no consequences at all.…
There's still the fact that they can use it as ammunition though. And I just find it funny because the person I'm talking about was trying to argue that there's no ethical concerns at all and nobody would care if the leads date, yet this episode kind of pointedly proves that entire thought process wrong.
My comment was more "haha even the scriptwriters agree with what I was saying yesterday" more than anything else

And yeah, Khems dad was awesome lol
