They (the actresses) are cute together, and I would love to see them have a relationship in a show, however not…
That's absolutely fair, but having their first on screen scene together being in ep 9 in a 10 ep show, and antagonistic towards each other makes me 100% not want them to be a thing in this show.

If they ran into each other at the store in ep 2? 3? whenever Manmook came into the area and there was a progression in Manmooks behavior from that point on, I would absolutely ship them together.

As far as JingJing and Piploy, I would love to see them together in something. Visually they mesh extremely well. I haven't seen any fancams or anything of them, so I don't know what their dynamic is like outside of this show honestly. If you have some, please DM or link them here to me.

It's possible, but imo Noey is too good of a catch to have to spend effort "fixing" her partner. She deserves someone who's worthy of her at the start. She doesn't need a project that needs finished before she feels appreciated

*DISCLAIMER* I truthfully don't care if they get together in the show. I actually think the leads look cute together both personality and looks wise.

Still watching ep 7, but I find it hilarious how literally not even a day after having a conversation on this comment board about the ethical concerns of the leads dating, the next episode comes out and flat out says that they as a company has rules against relationships like that, and it's actually being used (falsely of course, and not with FL, but another associate) by the antagonists to attack the ML. The associate in question isn't even in the MLs department, so that just goes to show how big of an issue the leads dating can actually be.

Both of their dads are pure trash, but I think personally I'd prefer Mae's dad? Like, he's still a manipulative asshole that plays emotional blackmail, but there's at least a chance that he actually loves Mae at least a little bit, and at least treats her well other than the emotional manipulation. And yes, I'm still wholly against what he's doing to her and think it's absolutely disgusting. I'm not excusing him in the least.

But Ai's dad blatantly doesn't gaf about her at all. He's both emotionally and physically abusive to her in private, and also stalks her. (Mae's dad could be having someone follow her, but we haven't seen anything like that yet.) His only goal and care is his legacy and his business, and he doesn't give a shit about Ai in the slightest other than making sure she doesn't do anything that makes him look bad.

They both suck tremendously, but imo Ai's dad is way worse. He's a pure evil asshole rich father while Mae's dad is just an asshole rich father imo

I'm watching because of YoonA and Han Na, and the first ep was alright, but also kind of meh to me. I'm going to give it at least a few more episodes, but this isn't living up to the expectation I had from what I've seen and read about it so far

Mahmook getting very close to Noey made me give hopeful screams thinking that a kiss would come 🥺🥺🥺🥺…
They (the actresses) are cute together, and I would love to see them have a relationship in a show, however not in this one. Noey is too pure and Manmook is just a trifling b. Their characters don't fit together in this show. Noey deserves a queen

AMONG all gl series i've watched this is the most healthiest series..i just love how they help each other each…
IMO, even the "breakup" was understandable. Wan has personal trauma and it transferred into their relationship. She then was quickly remorseful and Maewnam's whole "I forgive you, but you have to work for it" thing was cute and deserved as well.

It really even probably actually helped Wan's trauma, now that I think about it. She's always been the receiver of help, and Maewnam making Wan help her at least partly fixed the "imbalance" that Wan feels. I can't believe I didn't think of that until I started writing this comment lol. Maewnam's "punishment" for Wan was actually still the greenest flag girlfriend helping Wan more than Wan actually helping her really

Yeah, but the anti-romance crowd keeps saying there's nothing going on, no hints of anything, just a typical mentor-mentee…
Yeah it's an extremely naive take. Like, say they are able to completely separate their personal and professional lives and fly completely under the radar in the office so nobody misconstrues anything as favoritism. (Extremely unplausible) That's the only way there wouldn't be any issues with it.

But, what happens if they have a massive falling out to where they literally can't even stand looking at each other? Then everything is now out in the open, her career is tanked since they'll keep the senior guy first, he'll probably get some form of punishment for the issues it causes and the company is going to have to navigate liability issues they may have from the fallout. There's been countless cases like that IRL, some companies have even gotten sued by whoever gets let go/demoted/moved etc.

I haven't once brought up her age, and I personally dgaf about the age gap, why do you keep bringing it up to me? They could be the exact same age and it doesn't change the fact that he's 100% her boss. There isn't wiggle room in that. She's a brand new employee and he's a senior partner. He is her boss' boss. Much higher up the food chain than she is. It's not like they are on equal footing at the law firm, it's a blatant boss/employee dynamic.

I also don't care one way or the other if they have a romance or not in the show, and my original comment to you was just answering your question, I never said I was against it. If they do have a romance, I think they do need to address the power dynamic issues though. Upper management and lowest level employee is a big gap

I agree, I just mean it was a weird way to tackle that issue imo. They handled it well in the end, but that was strictly Mun Jeong finding her own replacement and stuff, while the boss didn't even try or care and was honestly just waiting for her to quit, which is stupid because then he's in the exact same spot being down an associate

But they're not just colleagues?!? He's absolutely her boss. He's a senior partner and the head of their division and she's a first year. The 2nd couple with Jin U and Min Jeong is just colleagues and wouldn't have any ethical issues, but the leads definitely have a power imbalance

I agree completely. Especially in legal dramas, I feel like they have to play it more by the book. That was one of the things that really annoyed me in LatC, when the boss was fighting back against Mun Jeong for maternity leave, and I'm like "but you're a lawyer?!? Shouldn't you know your behavior rn can cause you serious issues?? Especially since you know your best associate is her best friend and will absolutely side with her?" It seems so stupid when lawyers do things in shows that they know they have no chance of winning if the employee takes it to court

It's not a problem per se, but it can cause a lot of issues. Favoritism, colleagues being drawn into personal conflicts if they fight, power imbalances etc. There is a valid reason why a lot of companies in shows have a "no romance" clauses. It's especially more problematic if they are superior/subordinate like the leads are. Even in the US, companies can legally ban superior/subordinate romances, and even make it to where you have to disclose to the company if you get into a relationship with a colleague

How common is it where people keep a momento box of a first love? I've never heard or seen anyone IRL doing it, but I've seen it a bunch in dramas. This one especially, since they both have one

so from what i read in the news, the woman who accused him got 8 months of prison because of false accusations.…
small correction to your comment, he was acquitted in the first case. 2nd case she was acquitted of false accusations, but with wording that allowed an appeal. He appealed and she was found guilty of false accusations. There was never actually an appeal or guilty verdict on the r charge

I couldn't remember if it was officially verified, like being documented in the court when I wrote my comment lol, that's the only reason I put the "I believe" part. Thanks for the verification lol.

Honestly to me, the fake bruising aspect holds more water than the follow up texts. That alone kills her credibility to me. "If she's lying to the point of fabricating evidence for that, what else is she lying about that she can't fabricate the evidence for?" is my first thought

Yeah that was annoying to me too. Like, she absolutely loved Tonnam when she thought they were just friends, then…
I kind of feel like they are doing JuneMewnich dirty with this honestly. I'm not really a fan of them using MilkLove's fame to push a new ship, but I can understand it from a business perspective. However, giving them a VERY rough relationship in their first show isn't the right way to do it.

I couldn't stand Chom for the longest time because of how she was treating Tonnam. It took what, 7 episodes in a 10 episode show for her to actually out herself? That would be fine if they made it fresh, but they also decided to add the fact that they've already been together for 3 years. And now they've switched focus to only Chom and her mother, while almost completely sidelining Tonnam, when June is the more recognizable name out of the 2. It just seems like they are trying to push their new GL pair, but making all the wrong decisions on how to actually go about it.

Seriously, there's only 1 episode left, and 6-7 episodes had June playing as a backseater to Chom and her personal problems, then 1-2 episodes of her climbing into the trunk over it

She absolutely admitted to lying about him hurting her (she faked bruises and stuff saying he caused them, then admitted they were faked) and I believe there were also texts from her to him asking to meet up again the day after the alleged assault.

It's possible that she didn't want to have sex with him, but from everything I've seen IF that's actually the case, she was a willing, albeit drunk, partner the night it happened. SK to my understanding doesn't have a "drunk people can't consent" law, it could be that, but imo since she continued texting him to see him again after it would be more regret than actually nonconsensual.

I just saw that this show director was also director of Flex & cop. If it’s that then the slow burn romance…
Park Ji Hyun isn't doing S2, so who knows if the romance is going to happen at all now. Hopefully her replacement is a whole new character and they don't just do a 1:1 replacement

I will never understand the family arranged blind date thing like in episode 2. Them forcing her to talk to this guy that she literally has 0 interest in, is very vocal about that and him agreeing to all her extremely high demands when it's obvious she's trying to scare him away. Also with him agreeing when she's obviously trying to get out of it is really disgusting
