i can't believe they really tried to make chom's mom the "victim"... she did all that and treated Ton…
Yeah that was annoying to me too. Like, she absolutely loved Tonnam when she thought they were just friends, then alienated and ignored her until she felt like she was less than nothing, and for what? It's not Tonnam's fault that you didn't know your daughter liked girls. It's Chom's fault that she didn't tell you, and your fault for making her feel like she couldn't tell you
I thought they were already married. Congrats to the couple, I guess.
There's civil marriage and marriage. They are legally married, but they haven't had a ceremony yet. It's kind of like getting a courthouse wedding, then holding a ceremony with family and friends (and fans in their case) later on.
There's no sway or change legally speaking during the ceremony, but I think it's common for the family elders to not fully recognize them as a married couple until they hold the ceremony, so it's more just for tradition
Manmook is playing dirty af. Bring up their past to make Wan feel like she's doing the same thing to Maewnam to get Wan to distance herself, then as soon as she knows it worked come in acting like the savior again.
It's actually a little annoying that Wan is accepting her help, seeing as how she just told Maewnam she doesn't want help anymore, and Manmook already broke her heart once over the exact same thing.
Stans are gonna stan. I'd give it a 6, but that's me being gracious.
Right now, there's actually quite a few GLs that I think are better. HS is one of them, but Queendom and Roller Coaster are very good as well. I'm actually watching 6 Thai GLs that are airing atm, and this one to me is the worst one plot wise
Stans are gonna stan. I'd give it a 6, but that's me being gracious.
100%. TSOU was better, this one honestly feels like Ch3 just didn't want to invest any money at all into any aspect of it other than LingOrm, then used the fact that they were in it to milk as much $ as they could out of it. I wish they weren't in contracts with Ch3, they could elevate any company that actually gives them the script and budget their ability and chemistry deserves imho. It's Ch3 that's doing them dirty
Stans are gonna stan. I'd give it a 6, but that's me being gracious.
It's funny because LingOrm is my favorite GL couple, and Ling is like my "perfect" woman, and at this point I'm planning on rating this a 7. I think if it was a different couple, I already would have dropped it tbh, and it wouldn't even be a 6.
I guess I'm one of those apparently rare stans that actually cares about the quality of what I'm watching. Anyone saying this is 8.5+ is just being unrealistic imo
Everyone complaining about comments in a site made for comments… why do you think your opinion about opinions…
Then use my 2 year old constantly active account. Your complaint is completely invalid. It's a comment board for a show. If something happens in the show, people have the right to use said comment board to gush over or criticize it
Kissing plays a huge role in making the romance believable, but I would prefer no kiss to a bad kiss. A bad kiss…
I fully agree with this. Kissing isn't necessarily needed to show romance, but if they add kissing scenes in, it can affect the chemistry either way. A great kiss can make mediocre chemistry feel explosive, while a mediocre kiss can kill almost all the amazing chemistry feeling the rest of the acting delivered. There's actually a Japanese movie where the chemistry was amazing and the mains were obviously completely in love and there wasn't even a peck on the cheek in the whole movie, and I'd rather that than bad kissing.
It just annoys me because I've seen LingOrm have much better kissing scenes in TSOU than what they've been showing in Only You.
Just now watching ep 2, but seriously, how big of a POS do you have to be to cheat in general, let alone with…
At first, I assumed that Kawatani didn't know that Yuto was in a relationship, but she is actively going against Sugawara every chance she gets. She's actually worse than Yuto. Like, rubbing it in that she's with Yuto now and relacing all of her things at the apartment, then immediately flirting with Odagiri once she realized they were there together?!? I thought she was a cute, naive girl that just happened into a relationship with a taken man, but she's pure f'ing evil. It won't excuse her, but hopefully there's actually a reason in this story as to why she is so against Sugawara. Like, she's acting like the evil step/half sisters in Chinese vertical dramas and there's been nothing to show that they've known each other outside of work so the hatred of Sugawara makes no sense
also i feel like ai knows about the secret mic lol why she moaning like that when working out
I agree, I think she got suspicious enough to check when she found out that Mae scheduled a meeting with the brand she (Ai) works with almost immediately after her making that phone call to discuss cooperation. Ai also seems like the type to just leave it there and never bring it up to both play with Mae and because she doesn't want to jeopardize their budding relationship since she's already wholly invested in it.
Lol, why did she have to go back to someone who left her although how much she begged her to stay? She's already…
I mean MDL is usually pretty good about putting the cast list in order of billing, and like 99.9% of the time the top and 2nd most billed artists are the end game couple. It's an easy assumption to make just based off of the cast list. I haven't read the novel, but from comments know that Loft and Pure is the endgame if they stick to source material
Does anyone know what the bid and Greater Duty-Free concession is exactly? I'm not familiar with business
Duty Free is the non-taxed and no customs charges shops at airports and the like where you can only shop at them on International flights, cruises, etc. I could be wrong, but it sounds to me that they are all bidding on construction, management or both of not just a duty-free store, but practically a high end mall that's entirely duty free, so people would flock to it since they will be able to undercut any non duty free shop on the prices
Just now watching ep 2, but seriously, how big of a POS do you have to be to cheat in general, let alone with a beautiful, loving, caring woman that also takes care of the house and gladly wakes up early to cook you 3 amazing looking meals a day and also just happens to be like the most vital member of her team at work? The FL is basically every mans dream gf and Yuto is just so trash that he gaslights her into thinking she's less than nothing and just gleefully cheats on her, yet can't understand why she left him?
So far I actually hate him more than Min Hwan in (K)MMH
It was overall a decent watch, but I'm kind of annoyed with the ending. They didn't show anything about how the cops figured out that the Chairman was behind everything. Mr Yuk and Yu Jin knew 100%, but they had no actual evidence to provide for it, and Yu Jin was in surgery/coma when the chairman got arrested. It would have been just Mr Yuk's word vs the Chairman and all the corrupt cops and officials words, yet they came in force like they had him dead to rights.
I also was okay with how he left town, but I feel like there should have been an actual goodbye scene between him and Yu Jin. Just leaving that bear keycahain was kind of cute, but I think she deserved an actual goodbye imo
honestly I’ll just wait until this show ends to see how the leads end up. these comments are low-key confusing…
I can see it going either way with the romance at this point, but 1 thing that is for sure is even if they pursue the romance, it's not going to be a major part of the story. It will at most be like L and Yeon Woo's romance plot in Numbers
There's no sway or change legally speaking during the ceremony, but I think it's common for the family elders to not fully recognize them as a married couple until they hold the ceremony, so it's more just for tradition
