Yeah, I was pointing out that even if you don't consider the kiss, everything that happened at work after is absolutely harassment. He didn't "stop there and pursue nothing further," he made her into an outcast homewrecker
Disappointing ending. Season 2 has to be in the works, but doubt I will invest again with an ending like this.…
You do know there's 2 more episodes, right? It's not over yet, and season 2s are extremely rare in KDramas, so I highly doubt they are even thinking about renewing it for another season, let alone a season 2 being planned.
Also, HoSu has been standing up to his exboss the entire time, MiRae found her confidence and is all in on getting rid of the problems at the company and SeJin has no confidence issues other than not being able to grow strawberries without help lol. Even the moms are working through their issues now
Just watched ep 9 . SA / Harassement case it too far fetched. Guy misunderstood the situation went for a kiss…
Anything that is sexual in nature and unwanted is SA and/or harassment, including words. In situations like the one shown, it was unwanted and uncomfortable for MiRae, but she did the thing that happens a lot irl and basically chalked it up to him being drunk and dropping it. Even if you don't see the attempted kiss as (I do) as SA or even harassment, making it publicly known in the company and twisting it to where she is the perpetrator definitely is harassment. The entire case isn't farfetched at all, but actually an extremely realistic case. And what MiRae went through afterwards with the gaslighting and ostracization to the point that she started questioning herself is also sadly extremely realistic.
Also, he created the entire situation. It's not like they were out together or anything, he called her there already hammered
I've watched up until episode 10 (because the last two episodes are next week), and no, he hasn't. It is more…
It also seems primed and hinted at for him to have a redemption arc next week as well. Probably not a full redemption, but at least getting the pendulum swinging the more moral way.
Did you watch episode 9/10? If not.... potential spoiler ahead ⚠️I feel like the grandma wasn't really yelling…
I get it though. She kept this secret for decades, finally found someone she thinks she can trust, then gets threatened using that secret by someone else. It was just coincidental timing on the lawyers part, but the timing was suspicious.
I don't think RoSa was even really all that mad, if at all really, about the MiRae actually being MiJi thing. She suspected MiJi told, Miji walks in and says she has been lying about something, which to RoSa confirmed her suspicions. Then with MiJi telling her about the swap but not saying anything about selling her out made her go off. MiJi, not knowing anything about the threat or knowing that the secret got leaked, just assumed RoSa was mad about the swap
I've always thought she is a great actress in everything I've seen her in, but she's blowing my already high expectations…
Daily Dose of Sunshine and Doom At Your Service are probably my favs after Strong Woman. I haven't seen Light Shop or Melo Movie, but heard they are really good. Abyss and Oh My Ghost are pretty good as well
For my perspective this is the only weird about this drama to have the same daughter name (Mi Rae), I mean like…
Extremely unlikely. The first time she met him, his daughter was already born. It's just a very weird coincidence they threw in to make her feel even more of a connection to him
she was isolated and bullied at work...she filed a complaint against it...and that's when Mirae stepped in to…
I think she was the original whistleblower about the construction company. That's what made her isolated at work and caused MiRae to step and and verify her claims
On the other hand, I didn't quite understand. He celebrates Christmas in episode 8 of the kdrama, except that…
The entire industry films winter scenes in the summer and vice versa (as needed). Just because Christmas was in the episode doesn't mean it was filmed in December.
The doctor and CEO have WAY TOO MUCH influence apparently. It's actually getting a little ridiculous to me atp. Sure, Jo & Jo is their company, so they can throw Tae Yang into Sa Gye's spot. I think it would also be the fandom, and not just the Crown band members that are mad about getting a nepo add realistically, but it's literally just 2 Sa Gye and Crown members that are against him joining. It got extremely ridiculous how he's now the first Asian brand ambassador of a foreign company when he hasn't even really done anything yet.
Like, I'm sure there would be some real influence to get his name out there and get some hype for him joining, but apparently those 2 can just tell the public to love him, and all of a sudden he's at like BTS level of fame while only putting out 1 single that didn't even do as well as the cover that 2 Sa Gye did lol. They even were able to remove a lot of Sa Gye's fame, albeit it was partly understandable due to the video of him punching the CEO. But seriously, it's the same as if JYP was like "Hey we are dropping JiHyo, nobody should care about her anymore. We are replacing her with X, everybody treat her like you did JiHyo" and everyone just being like "OKAY!" lol. So unrealistic
No. Kdrama's, especially in this genre, have a tendency of leaving the door open for more but never get to it.…
At least they give the story an ending though. They usually have a scene to make it "open ended" so they have the opportunity for a 2nd season, but the story is actually complete and no 2nd season doesn't detract from the drama imo.
Like, in this one, if they didn't have the scene with her coming to the crime scene with a new puzzle piece there was nothing that showed another season was possible and the story they wanted to tell was fully over. Another example is Moving; they left it to where it showed the kids taking the reins and opened itself to a season 2, but a season 2 isn't necessary to finish the story
Half way through ep 6 and seriously debating dropping this. It started off a fun college romance drama and then has focusing more and more on the Jo & Jo plot, which imo isn't done very well.
Also, it's amazing Jo & Jo is still in business with how incompetent, blatant and corrupt it's executives are. Tae Yang taking Sa Gye's place in the band with ZERO formal training like he's a music prodigy or something when Sa Gye is a proven better musician. Does the company literally not have any trainees? Do they not have contacts in the industry to find a known up and comer that already has a following to take the face of the group position in their cash cow band?
And Tae Yang acting like he gaf about Bom, but can't even realize that "his" new song is literally the song she wears in a necklace daily and listens to all the time? I refuse to believe he's never heard her play it or seen her working on the song with how close they were/are. IMHO, he doesn't care about Bom at all beyond "I knew her first and I don't like Sa Gye."
I don't have it on Viki as of yet. But, if I remember correctly there was another show that was 2 hours off of…
The clock on MDL is when it airs on TV in SK. Almost everything takes 2 hours to hit the OTTs. The episode has to be completely over on TV before they can list it, and there's usually some final tweaks needed to subs and the like
Aren't stars like an award given out annually or something? I don't think it's possible to just immediately jump up to 3 stars like that. Honestly, they could have even done the publicity about JungJae and the competition just off the sole fact that they won a highly coveted star when not even trying to, while Motto and La Lacel(?) did months of prep and stealing for the chance
Also, HoSu has been standing up to his exboss the entire time, MiRae found her confidence and is all in on getting rid of the problems at the company and SeJin has no confidence issues other than not being able to grow strawberries without help lol. Also, MiJi telling HoSu the dream after next weeks teaser was ridiculously adorable. Bo Young literally just oozes cuteness when she wants to
