Go Younjung got praises and acknowledgement as one of leading roles in Sweet Home. She got nominated for Best New…
As a normal viewer, I've enjoyed her acting in everything I've seen. And you may have a point with some idol actors and actresses not being the best at acting, but they get their roles because of star power. Just their name attached to a show will bring an audience from their fandom. GYJ has gained recognition and fame solely from acting, if the general public didn't like her acting, no amount of PR would be able to propel her to where she is now.
Dowon having Yiyoung vent on his behalf was cute. He's such a good senior and I hope he stands up for himself…
They do have some overlapping traits, but a lot of her complaints were about being a know-it-all and a superior attitude. Yi Yeong doesn't act like that, at all. It should have been obvious Nam Gyeong was talking about Sa Bi
So he's such a perfectionist that he fails her thesis over 57 seconds, then tries to correct her that she doesn't have all the info to say he's the meanest teacher when she said he's the meanest teacher she's ever seen. For being such a perfectionist, he should realize there's a massive difference between saying meanest teacher and meanest teacher I've ever seen.
CDramas are extremely hit or miss for me. I'm so sick of the MLs that are so matter of fact that they are just rude af and FLs that act whiney the entire time and always need the ML to fix whatever problem she's facing, both of which are in SO MANY CDramas
I have not started watching this yet. There are a lot of mixed comments. Is there any romance in this drama? There…
The romance is a side side plot. It's extremely slow burn, and atp it's just a couple glances and such. The whole show is more slice of life for the 4 R1s, and a part of that life for one of them is a crush on another doctor
it wasn't out of no where it started when she defended her in front of the seniors...since the show isn't in a…
I think by chronological they meant each ep doesn't start where the last left off, time wise. There's weeks or even months that passed between episodes, unlike the shows where say ep 4's opening scene is just a continuation of ep 3's ending scene
I really like the way that Korean shows put definitions or explainations for terms and abbreviations that the general public may not know. I've seen it in a bunch of shows, but it's really common in RP. Kind of wish American shows did the same tbh
I'm glad Do Won gave Jae Il a reality check. Even as a watcher I am completely annoyed with his constant need to be told he's right. If you have that little faith in your judgement, you're in the wrong profession and constantly calling others for unneccesary consults is just going to make him PNG in the department when they are all so busy.
As much as I detest Dr Myung, and hope that Do Won gets the credit he deserves, Yi Yeong literally told him point blank that she was going to steal the paper and he just blew her off. He should have at least expected or been aware that she might do this.
but then she will be the bad guy again for snitching, that's why she doesn't do anything. dr. myung is resented…
Exactly. She is "loved" by the professors because she has an entirely different persona around them, and uses the residents and interns so they are the ones that look bad, while she looks good, or at least not a part of it.
Like the first surgery thing, where Yi Yeong thought it was an emergency because Myung told her, when in actuality she just wanted the timeslot for her VIP patient. And Yi Yeong doesn't even need to bring it up to the professors, she basically had the entire Anesthesia department to the point they were unwilling to work with her and she could have them hear her say it was an "emergency" or whatever the case may be.
I'm only on ep 2, but Dr Myung already needs to go. If I was Yi Yeong, I would be recording every single phone call and conversation with that bitch and make it extremely public that she's the issue, not Yi Yeong.
I can’t remember the last kdrama that was good since Twinkling Watermelon, so this is a breath of fresh air.…
True that good is probably the wrong word, but their relationship is the only thing that is entertaining enough to make the show even worth watching imho

Calling Divorce Insurance good is really stretching it. Is it entertaining? Kind of, but really if it wasn't for LDW and LJB's relationship actually being a good story, the rest of the show is a solid 4.5-5.
Ngl it has already begin to flop , Who is the ML ? Yes i get KYK is the ML why is he not up at the cast It’s…
KYK isn't the ML, YSJ is. KYK's only purpose is the "original body" of the spirit of the dragon, but now that the spirit is in YSJ, KYK doesn't have a purpose other than flashbacks. IDK where you got the idea that KYK is the ML
I was going to start watching this and saw your comment. Is it really scary? I get freaked out easily.
I personally haven't found any scenes scary in the least. Some of the spirits have a creepy appearance, but it's not even really that bad. The well girl kind of looks like the girl from "The Ring" if that gives you an idea of the visuals. The scenes with the spirits also aren't overly scary or anything, just a bit of thriller to show that it's a life or death situation for the character facing it
How Detective Jang only got suspended is ridiculous. Was he right? Absolutely. Doesn't excuse the way he barged into Roh Bin's place and literally beat the shit out of him, all of which was caught on camera, live. He should have been charged, but he didn't even get fired? Then he goes and plays detective and acts like the boss in a different jurisdiction while he's still suspended. For being the good guy, he's actually worse than Tang in a lot of ways and deserves a cell just as much as Tang does
RJE's picture isn't terrible, but is it just me or are a lot of actors and actresses pictures on MDL been getting changed into extremely white washed unflattering headshots recently? Like, this pic is fine, but her previous one was better imo, and I've seen a couple where it's literally the worst picture I've seen of the artist
