YiMing gets more and more on my nerves every second he's on screen. And he's also making me dislike Nan Feng. Like, I get he's your brother, but she's your best friend and you know how she feels about him and Chong. Why would you give up your seat next to your bestie who's sitting between you and her crush/bf for him to just annoy tf out of her?!? It makes no sense at all and just makes her look like a horrible friend

The little cartoons at the end are so cute

her mom keeps telling her to grow up and to marry Yi Ming, but that dudes way more immature than she is in a lot of ways. He is getting on my nerves honestly. She has been pretty clear that it isn't going to happen and he won't let it go, even going so far as to beg Nan Feng into doing things that she wouldn't normally do to help him. Also, how in tf does he think continuously implying that he thinks her career is a joke and he doesn't agree with any of her life choices, but he doesn't care as long as she is happy and lets him take care of her will ever win her over?

Forgot to mention always trying to look at her phone and eavesdropping on every conversation she has. He's creepy and annoying af. Honestly, atp I'd rather have a 2nd love interest that she's confused about, which is a trope that I hate

That was kind of my point lol. Is she insufferable and controlling? Yes. But as far as drama moms go, she isn't that bad. Even the dinner scene where she was bashing Zhi, Nan Fengs mom was bashing her own kids back, although not quite as hard. If anything, she's in between the bad side and neutral normal mom personalities

As a while airing watcher, I really appreciate whoevers decision it was to have the edge of your seat cliffhangers on Fridays, and the cute, lighthearted cliffhangers on Saturdays. It helps the 6 day wait a bit for me lol

Oh, and just knowing that she's controlling already means that you miss literally nothing story progression wise, so you don't even have to worry about missing something important in her scenes that have aired

I just meant you didn't have to ff that much lol. It's not like half of the episodes or anything like that. I personally don't find her as bad as a lot of other commentors. She's bad, but not absolutely horrible

Her on screen presense is only like maybe 10-15 minutes between both episodes

Watching this, it really makes you wonder just what in the fuck SK considers evidence. Yeah, ML has a lot of backing, but ffs I'm only half way through and can't believe that the cops said there wasn't enough and Jin Hyeong would likely get convicted over the ML

It doesn't feel like anythings been cut, at least yet. So they are either doing an amazing job of only removing filler, or the cuts will be later in the show imo. Hoping for the former

She's a bad mom, but at least so far, she's not even in the top 100 of bad mothers I've seen in dramas. She's a successful, wealthy mom that has a 20's daughter who, in her eyes, has done nothing with her life. I can see where she is coming from a little bit, because Zhi even said in the show that she was making barely anything when she worked for the comic company, so her mom didn't see it as a real career. I don't agree with her, but I can see the POV she's playing

It's a recent thing on MDL to seriously down vote running shows for some reason. There's also a lot of people that don't like Esther's voice and mannerisms and are basing their rating solely on that. I can believe that some of them never heard of Esther, saw how she is, stopped watching and downvoted; but I'm sure there's a lot more of them that just can't stand her (it's fair, her personality isn't for everyone) and downvote everything she does (not fair)

She is, I meant in the scenes in ep 8 when she was thinking about who to call. She even contemplated calling her old editor from the place that fired her, but it never showed her think about or try to call Shan, even though she knows that she's willing and knows much more about the subject than herself or anyone else she knows (other than Chong ofc)

Chongs friend group are not the national team. And I didn't really expect Shan to be in the office with Zhi, she lives like 2500KM away. I thought it was weird how it didn't even show Zhi think about asking her for help though when she was sitting there thinking of someone to call for help on her new comic.

The voice is just Esther's voice. There's actually videos of her answering a phone call of someone on camera, and not even knowing that it's being filmed, sounds exactly the same. (Not the point of said videos, just using it as proof it's just her)

According to MDL calendar, it's 1 a day Sat and Sun, then goes back to 2 a day on Mon
