It could be translation errors or something, but I doubt it. It sounds more like he doesn't even respect her choices, he basically tells her her career is nothing more than a hobby and thinks she's not good at making choices, but he doesn't care and will let her do w/e as long as she accepts him. It's so infuriating to me

It could be just because it rolls off the tongue better, or maybe a translation error. I think someone that speaks Mandarin said on here before that there's only an added or slightly changed syllable between the 2
