This drama had me suspending disbelief numerous times. It’s so unrealistic and ridiculous that it’s bingeable. All I have to say is 10 for couple chemistry and 6 for the ridiculous plot overall a solid 8.
Forget the romance, I’m most excited to hear Gu Won’s business plan next week. I want to know his strategy…
I am hopeful there’s a semblance of a real business plan. I know it’s a light drama but I’m kind of dismayed that Gu Won seems to be just posturing at work and not really working. unless we have to suspend disbelief and imagine him working hard off screen.
I think I repeat this every single week but I love this drama. It’s the perfect feel good I’m chilling on my couch type of series. I don’t have to do a whodunnit, wtfhappened, or overthink what I just watched. It’s in your face fluff that gives you the feels and thank about constant skinship scenes.. I mean Yoona and Junho must be excellent actors that are comfortable in doing multiple kissing scenes with more than a dozen people watching at a time or they are truly in a relationship… 😁
I think I squealed so many times on episode 10. I know it’s filler episode with all the tourism stuff but geez Junho and Yoona are so good together their chemistry is of the charts. This episodes has all sorts of kisses, from pecks to they need to get a room type of kisses. I haven’t felt this great chemistry between two leads since What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim. I can’t wait for episode 11.
I knew that the kiss was happening in episode 8 because both stars posted on their IG about it but my oh my… that was one of the best kiss I’ve seen in Kdramas so far… it wasn’t a peck, no sir! it was a an honest to goodness kiss with lip trembling at that… I felt like a voyeur watching it, loving this series a lot… the best part about it is asking permission (consent)… Episode 8 was a chef’s kiss indeed!
I love your points, I think people are just trying to find every reason they can to hate on this drama, they forget…
I laughed at “woke” vampire, so far I am enjoying this series. Even if he is just tempted by the drop of blood, his kiss was hot 🔥Definitely not a timid one, like most first kisses in the Kdrama land.
no story, no plot - characters have nothing they aren't even caricatures - the whole scam is running on bringing…
You are on point with your observations but I actually like that it is a lightweight rom com. After watching Bloodhounds, Call it Love, and Joseon Attorney. King the land is a great weekend feel good no brainer drama. I already have tons of plot full dramas like Numbers, Durian’s, My 19th life, & My Perfect stranger that I’m watching or trying to finish so for me the brainless series is a chef’s kiss. 😄
I was on lunch at work while watching episode 3 and my eyes were swollen at the end of today’s episode. SHS is such a great actress. I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s episode.
