I am so excited to start watching this! but here is the question should I watch it while it is airing or should…
I would wait until 8-10 episodes are out so you don’t wait too long. My mistake was I started immediately, so now I’m stuck with waiting each week. I have to say no boring episodes so far.
This show is hilarious and the ML is 🔥. I am here for all the plot holes and weird writing decisions.. I wish all the episodes are out because is so bingeable
Am I the only one who doesn't like how it suddenly goes from them being one place to another? The cuts and the…
I used to have Hulu Premium and I see those black screen cuts now that I downgraded to Hulu with ads no black screen but have 4-5 long ads for one episode.
Haters gonna hate but I absolutely love this drama. The chemistry between the leads are on fire! The comedic timing of FL is spot on. This is really an underrated drama.
This drama is unexpectedly really good. The chemistry between the two leads is 🔥🔥🔥. There are plot holes but I like this couple better than TSPMC leads.
I watched this drama because Steve Noh, the way he acted was so genuine that you can’t help but root for him even when he was being an ass. He did a great job portraying the ML’s love and resentment towards the FL lead. Even though the ending felt rushed, I am still rating this drama well for how it evoked my emotions and made me sympathize the ML’s point of view.
Like others, I wish they devoted more time with the FL’s character development before she reconciled again with the ML.
I watched this and Heartbeat, and I can confirm that this is not even close to the terrible ending of Heartbeat.
so true! The ending in Heartbeat made me want to strangle the writers, why promote it as a romantic comedy when you give us a stupid ending. same feeling I felt when Strangers again ended. At least this drama tried to appease us with its ending. I still feel it was a happy ending just not what we hoped it will be.
I donno why ppl liking this drama so much. for me it's an average drama. Like TYPICAL SOAP OPERA 😓[P.S: DON'T…
I love it because it is like a soap opera but double the speed. I don’t like watching long dramas (30+ episodes) even though the story and plot are interesting.
The first episode was amazing! This series looks really promising. I’m happy that I have something to replace my “My Dearest” time slot (Fri-Sat). The visuals, comedy, and the ML and FL’s chemistry was sizzling! I am excited to watch tomorrow’s episode.
The main issue with this drama is the disjointed way all the characters were portrayed. Why did they have more “romantic” like moments between Namsoon and Shi-Oh? This totally confused viewers in the beginning thinking they can ship those two. Why did they give more background story for the villain rather than the ML? Why does it feel like the mother is the true FL? Too much unnecessary scenes with Grandma but have only few ones between FL and ML.
Like some folks here if they made enemies to lovers trope it would’ve been an interesting show. But the made sure that they made Shi-Oh unredeemable so it soured the early Namsoon-ShiOh shippers to the show.
So I put this drama on hold because the scenes on episode 12 was too stressful for me, at that time I felt the ending would be horrible for both leads and so I waited until today to watch episode 13-21. Unlike other dramas that I watch weekly, I wasn’t able to recover from the emotional rollercoaster each episode brought each time. Talk about emotional damage (cue meme voice). Since I have no recovery time, my eyes are so puffy by episode 21.
Namkoong Min is an amazing actor, his micro expressions really gave me the feels and Ahn Eun Jin really embodied Gil Chae’s character, she had the best character development. I know it’s only been 3 months but this drama was so good, I felt I went on a journey with them.
I wished they made it a two hour special to address loose ends and offer resolution to what happened after the King died, why was Ryan’s Eum locked up, why were they investigating years later, did the ML and FL ended up having kids etc.. I truly wanted the ultimate epilogue where all the questions are answered.
After all that, I think this is the most epic drama of the year. From the cast, plot, cinematography, to OST.. it is a chef’s kiss!
I have to say this drama is sooo satisfying! It’s the perfect revenge drama with no boring fillers or excessive plots. it’s a chef’s kiss. The last scene for episode 7 was so satisfying. Hooray for MIL. 😁
Like others, I wish they devoted more time with the FL’s character development before she reconciled again with the ML.
