I am still staying strong and not rooting for Shi Oh but the writers wrote his character like a Melodrama ML (minus the drug parts), he’s handsome, rich, stylish, he has a traumatic past, stoic but when he smiles it lights up his face, and looks at the FL like he adores her. Of course, the delulus will ship it. Kdramas have trained us to expect those characteristics in male leads.

I am still shipping the FL and ML because their cute and wholesome interactions.

I do think if the writers made Ryu Shi Oh character the ML and he was not murderous druggie then the namsoon-Shi Oh shippers will be over the moon. Like a Baddie Redemption story, like the book Assistant to the Villain.

What I love about this is the ML and FL awareness about the other characters evil intentions. They are not doe eyed innocent leads that can see BS a mile away. Like the ML’s interaction with Yoo Ra and the FL’s interaction with her ex and the bodyguard in episode 4.

This Kdrama reminds me of old school Kdramas with the drama settings and locations. Gives that Cinderella-like plot that I love to hate but is always the one that keeps me watching. Even their clothes look more contemporary rather than the more modern looks for ML and FL. Anywho, I can’t wait for episode 4.

I space out serious/intense dramas and only watch one at a time. After I finish My Dearest and I will watch Worst of Evil. All the others like Strong Girl Namsoon, Castaway Diva, A Good Day to be Dog and Twinkling Watermelon I’m watching them simultaneously. 😃

Call me shallow but I am finding this show a nice break from the stress I get from watching My Dearest. I know the plot can be a bit nonsensical at times but I am here for the fluff and silliness of it all.

I have the same feeling. He is like too good to be true.

They have to stop making the villain “likeable,” like stop smiling Ryu Shi Oh! I’m determined to not like him just on principle alone but I might cave if his cute smiles (not the diabolical ones) continues.

This may not be a popular opinion but I think it’s an entertaining series so far. I think this is a great replacement for Behind Your Touch.

The way it ended, I feel like there will be a second season.

I have to say I would watch a BL drama if Ahn Hyo Seop and Rowoon are starring in it. Dang it’s the Kdrama couple that I didn’t know was possible but I am rooting for. Talk about chemistry! 🔥🔥🔥

I stumbled upon this drama because of Reels. I found a YouTube channel that has it until episode 15. It’s cringeworthy but I love the leads. At least it’s not as bad as Maid’s revenge. I do hope that the ML will get a meatier role with great script. He is just so watchable.

He officially broke up with her on episode 3 after love spell. It’s true that he asked for space prior to that but he also said the wait for him to figure things out.

I was rooting for the couple on Strangers Again to get back together again and then bam it’s a Taylor Swift break up song.

I feel betrayed with Heartbeat because I was going in thinking it will be a happy ending but ended really flat for me. I mean the show was great until the last episode..

this reminds me of Strangers Again and how I felt after the show ended.
