WOW, ep. 15+16 were a roller-coaster! My heart kept pounding and my anxiety was through the roof. It was that good lol. All I gotta say is..... I love Tan Xuan Lin!
What is the age difference between Hai Shi and her master Fang Zhu? Because I just finished episode 1, and that's like the only thing that took me out of the moment. Tbh, I kinda wish they would have had a younger version for William Chan's character at the beginning, just like they did with Yang Mi. Same with the King, it would have been nice if they all started with younger versions of themselves, just like Hai Shi and her older brother did. I know times were different back then, but seeing as the younger actress portraying Hai Shi was so young, it just kinda felt odd that they decided to keep William Chan as his younger version too.
Siege in Fog, except it has more angst. But its set during the same time period, and I believe they might use…
The one that has the sad ending is Siege in Fog, not Fall in Love. The ML in Siege in Fog dies at the end. Fall in Love is still ongoing, so we don't know how it will end, although it is pretty light in comparison to Siege in Fog, so most likely it will be happy ending.
Is there sth related or similar to watch or read in the meantime? Im hooked...novel or manhwa

Man, my heart broke for Song Bai Yu and his mother. The way his mother killed him unwittingly because of her loyalty…
I might be in the minority, but I actually loved the ending between Lin Lan and Lin Yuan Hao. I actually liked that there were no romantic scenes, because the actors did such a good job at conveying what they felt for each other without having to say it out aloud. It might just be me though lol. I usually like dramas that have friendship over romance, especially between a male and female lead.
OMG that last scene with Song Bai Yu gave me so much anxiety!! I felt as though I was in the car with him, as he was drowning. I almost had to stop and take a break, because I felt as though I couldn't breathe. Just the thought of him knowing his own mom is driving the car! Man it was too much, it's been a while since a drama has made me have physical reaction. Liu Chang, the actor who played Song Bai Yu, did an amazing job! Also the editor and director, just the way that whole scene was filmed, the production team is extremely talented.
This drama rocks. I love all of the multi-layered characters, including the villains. The relationships among…
Song Bai Yu's family is insane! Seriously they are so toxic. I loved his relationship with Wen Wan, because you could tell he was sincere towards her and wanted to defeat his inner demons to be with her, and have a family together. Just like you, my favorite part was Lin Yuan Hao and Lin Lan's relationship. I loved how their relationship wasn't forced at all, and they were very natural with each other. You could tell they cared about each other without them saying it aloud. I'm so happy the writers didn't force them to have 'romantic' scenes. I never expected to like this drama as much as I did, everybody involved did an amazing job, from the writers to the actors.

I just purchased my subscription, and don't regret it at all! They already have episode 2 subbed as well. I also wish more channels were like GMMTV too, I honestly didn't want to wait because the plot sounded so interesting to me, and I was looking for a good ongoing Thai drama, I'm not good at binge watching Thai dramas since the episodes are so long lol. There have been a few series that have not seen subbed on one31, and I was afraid that would be the case with this drama, so I just decided to pay. I honestly don't know how long it would take for one31 to sub this on their channel.

I have never paid for a subscription for fan subs before, would I be able to cancel the subscription after the drama finishes airing? Because I went on the website, and that's the only drama I 'm interested in seeing from there.
I was watching this series with my sister, and she was asking me why the opening was all animations of trains. And that's honestly all you need to know about this drama, its about trains lol. Nonetheless, if you're a fan of Oliver Chen, then you might enjoy this drama because they don't dub over his voice, and its nice to hear his deep voice. Even though this drama is very patriotic and pro-China, I found it a little funny that some characters were driving Fords, which are made in America. Like on the second episode, they made sure to get a super close up of the Ford truck a character was driving.
