Me too! As soon as I saw them playing that game of blind 'Go', I knew I would end up heartbroken with 2nd lead syndrome. And their chemistry is soo good too!

I finished ep 6 and I am liking it so far. I wish Childe Ning was the ML, his chemistry match really well with…
I agree! He's my favorite male character so far, his chemistry with Peng Xiao Ran is soo good! Just hate that he's not getting as much screen-time as the other male leads. Hopefully we'll be able to see him more in the upcoming episodes.

That's what I want to know too XD
If you pay attention to the opening, it seems as though her older cousin (the eldest daughter in the Fang family) will have a romance with the porcelain doll maker.

I wanted to watch this because the opening song was so good, but now thanks to the comments I don't think I want to waste my time. I will be downloading that opening song tho lol

Title Bride of the Century Spoiler
Doo Rim and Yi Kyung is twin sisters ???
No, they not are twin sisters. If you watch till the end, you will learn that the 'ghost' changed Yi Kyung's face when she was a baby, so that she would look the same as Doo Rim. She did this because Doo Rim is the reincarnation of the maid that saved her baby (Kang Joo's great-great grandfather) and she wanted to repay her back.

Dude whatttt Peng Xiao Ran got a new drama!? I had no idea this was coming out. It looks interesting, so excited…
I've caught up to all the 8 episodes, and the subs are good. Don't regret getting a membership in order to watch it. There are just a few words out of place, like using "Childe" instead of nobleman. But other than that everything else has been fine.

Already caught up to all the 8 episodes and I'm loving being able to see Peng Xiao Ran act again. Is it just me, or am I the only one falling more in love with nobleman Ning??

Is anyone subbing this drama?
It's on YOUKU on their YouTube channel. The first 3 episodes are free so far, but if you pay the $2.99 membership you get them with international subtitles as soon as they air. You don't have to wait for them to get subbed.

Im not sure about this one,but in GMP (if im not remember wrong) her voice was dubbed
I have seen her in variety shows, and heard her real voice. She is being dubbed here, most likely from a different voice actress than the one that dubbed her in GMP

I'm on episode 3, but to be honest it's kinda turning me off how they're falling in love so quickly. Does the drama get better?? I personally like it when the main leads have a few adventures together and become friends before developing romantic feelings. But in this drama, it seems as thought they start developing feelings for each other in episode 2.

Maybe we will actually get it, because Kris denies all charges and will go to court, so i really hope he not guilty,…
He was sending some really inappropriate text messages to young Chinese idols, it's not looking too good for him. I think he's done in China. He was really abusing his power as a famous celebrity.

Yes, the drama is based on a book called "Eastern Palace," by Fei Wo Si Cun, who is an author famous for her tragic endings. The River of Forgetfulness allows people to forget their feelings about love and sadness. This is why Xiao Feng forgets all about Gu Xiao Wu, and Gu Jian, but still remembers General Pei. And this is also why she forgets all of the bad things that happened to her family as well.

I know, I think this just makes me appreciate the dramas that actually have good court plots. Where the scheming actually takes some thought process, and the main characters aren't so careless. At first I didn't mind, but for them to keep doing it almost every episode, it kinda turns me off the drama, and takes me out of the moment. Honestly, I would say the last episode I enjoyed was 25. I feel as though the drama has gone downhill since then. Which is such a shame, because the cinematography is beautiful, and the main characters have really good chemistry.
On Weaving a Tale of Love Feb 22, 2021
Why is there no Prime Minister or any other high ranking officials at court?! I'm on episode 30, and I feel so exhausted at Prince of Cao always trying to murder the Crown Prince with no consequences for his actions, although his plans are always so amateur. It's infuriating at this point honestly. He's supposed to be the 14th brother, so how are him and his mother calling the shots and scheming at court? Also all of his plans and attacks are horrible, with no thought process at all, very easily tracked back to him, yet he never gets caught, I can not.
On Weaving a Tale of Love Feb 16, 2021
Already caught up to the latest episode on Viki, in only 2 days. This drama is soo good! It has beautiful cinematography and music. Now that the plot is taking place in the palace, it reminds me a lot of Goodbye My Princess. But I do have to say that this is the exact reason why Li Chengyin mistreated Xiao Feng in front of others in GMP, so that her life wouldn't be in danger and have a target on her back like Liu Li/ Xiao Dou Zi now has.

I do like historical dramas - as long as they have a healthy level of angst - but for some reason I can't really…
I have the same problem! I love Chinese historical dramas, but have stopped watching the Korean ones. For me, it's the set design and costumes. In Chinese dramas , they built a lot of their sets, so almost every drama looks different, and the clothing is so intricate. But in Korean historical dramas, I feel as though they use the same filming "set" location for every historical drama. So every drama almost looks the same, doesn't matter that it's a different story, so I can't really get into it. Even if Chinese dramas use the same tropes, my brain registers it differently because they film in different locations and have a higher budget in comparison to Korean dramas.
