he is flip floppy back and forth for like the entire show,,, like one minute theyre happy and the next hes angry or jealous or some shit. if u really looking for it the good part would literally be the last 10mins of the show
please guys im begging you vote for the loml matthew if he doesnt make it into the final lineup all my 22hrs of viewing this show will be for nothing and i cant take that kind of devastation after losing haruto please--
i really enjoyed this, it was light and thrived in the simplicity. i cant wait for a season 2!! as a warning to manhwa readers though: this only takes slight elements of the 80 chapter manhwa and i feel like it deviates from the manhwa enough to be considered a completely different body of work. if you view this expecting a one-to-one comparison, you'll be sorely disappointed.
the one complaint i'd have is how toned down daun's personality was, it was hard to get a feel of his character. i really enjoyed his egotistical but sincere mannerisms in the manhwa, and i feel like that was a big part of his character (and useful to understanding his past traumas), so i wish they'd kept that in.

peach of time had a mixed language situation--- like sometimes the thai character would talk in broken korean to korean actors (his character was an exchange student i believe) and the main leads would talk to eachother in their own languages (the thai lead spoke thai and the korean lead spoke korean) but in context were still able to understand eachother

i'm kind of in the same boat-- i know i watched this when it came out but i dont remember much of it at all. definitely due to the brevity of the series but i remember that overall it was light and sweet. there were a couple factors playing into the popularity, though: 1) this is one of the first mainstream korean bls at the time, where the industry was mostly dominated by thai/japanese works (think of the GAP series situation where it is popular for being a sapphic series rather than actually being a good series) 2) pandemic made more people binge/gave a boost in bl popularity (it also helped that kdramas tend to have a higher global viewership) 3) the production was solid and the main leads were very handsome
heard about this for a while, not sure if it's actually happening. i dont know if this will be mainstream/big budget, and if it is, i dont know how far theyll take the dark themes, considering sexual violence is such a prevalent part of the source material. the only way i can see this working is if they have a larger budget and are able to make this as disturbing as the webcomic, with clever editing and innuendo.
just please for the love of god i hope they dont market it as a bl, like they did with the webcomic. yes it does have gay characters and yes it does have gay content in it but 'bl' gives the insinuation of romance to new/general viewers when there is none in the comic. just labeling it as psychological horror and lgbtq+ is enough. i know its just semantics but semantics are important when the webcomic's success was based upon a large group of people who romanticized/fetishized/justified the relationship.

not romance in the slightest, their relationship is very onesided. bum was obsessed with him and sangwoo just had a mommy complex in which bum looked like his mother and sangwoo liked to see him(her) in pain.
its definitely a hate it or love it kind of deal, it started off rocky but surprisingly i enjoyed this a lot. i feel like it did meh in the relationship development category, since cheating, blackmail and revenge p*rn are NOT things that can be forgiven in 10 days time. i couldnt understand ritsu's character very well (i understand he doesnt have a good understanding of healthy relationships due to his family life, but in the first episodes we've seen that ritsu CAN and DID treat masumi right in the beginning. if you loved him, why did you have to hurt him to the extreme in the first place???) but i will say he was a bit redeemed for me at the end, if only for masumi's sake.
if youre looking for logical, healthy relationship with a thorough plot, this is not for you but i think its's good for a light watch that makes you feel a lot of emotions (primarily anger towards ritsu, lmao).
