the plot really ran up a wall in the last episode, but the actors did an amazing job and really sold the whole show to me despite its plot holes. i'm really happy daon got with seonghyeon at the end, though i think suhyeon x jaemin had a lot of untapped potential and would have been fire as well.
idk if this is probably an unpopular opinion but the show feels a bit slow and aimless at times? i enjoyed it in the beginning but the middle episodes were filled with fluff and lacked major conflict-- i don't think i could recall past a couple major plot points in the middle leading up to their relationship.... i think the pacing wouldnt be as glaring to me if the show itself was longer (and i feel like the decision to develop thee and peach's relationship thoroughly makes their official relationship scene more impactful, dont get me wrong) but we've just reached the honeymoon phase and have a bunch of outside conflicts to tidy up in 2 episodes. (+ the resolutions for the other ships as well).
hopefully the final episodes stick the landing, because this is one of the better series gmm put out in a while. pondphuwin embodied their roles really well in this series, williamest were a cute addition though i wish we saw them more, and perthsanta deserved a lot better than the characters and screentime that they got.
I just finished the drama the only thing I don’t understand is that why did Jaemin start his evil ark towards…
jaemins main problem is that his love devolved into obsession and delusion. though he liked daon from the very beginning, he was content on staying by his side until suhyeon entered the picture. when he realized that daon liked suhyeon, I think that’s when he really lost it, with the contract convincing suhyeon that daon didn’t like him and making him move abroad so that daon would only rely on him. when daon confessed to him, jaemin brushed him off and got angry because he thought daon said it to prevent him from dating suhyeon again, instead of actually meaning it. when daon finds out what jaemin did, he has a mental breakdown over frustration that daon still doesn’t love him, and at the end just tries to selfishly fulfill his delusion even though daon is scared of him. To him, he believed that because he loved daon first, he and daon belonged together and the only way left to fulfill that delusion was to kill the both of them.
Let me see if I'm following correctly: Choi is going after Aejoon to avenge Jooha because he thinks Aejoon is…
siyeol has feelings for jooha but wants him to be happy, i believe jooha is the one he's describing when he answers the student's question about his first love.
They boys are related stop shipping them, that's literally incest and I don't wanna hear excuses from f3tishiz3rs…
i dunno, i thought that this cousins twist was a pretty clear way of dealing with censorship.... the production could've easily made their mothers not be sisters, and the plot would've stayed the same even with the baby swap. but they chose to as a way to make the affectionate scenes from earlier feel more brotherly, and give the romance aspect plausible deniability. i dont support cousin marriages but i feel like this plotline was a cheap cop-out, and therefore i dont take it too seriously.
usually i steer away from love triangle nonsense cause its too messy for me, but this series has got me sold off of the vibes alone. cant wait to watch it!
Guys recommend me some good bl dramas while I am waiting for this😭😭And make sure it's not 18+ cause Im still…
spare me your mercy just finished and i really enjoyed it. it does have am implied nsfw scene but it can be skipped as the story is mostly plot focused.
