Personally speaking, this series is actually interesting. With a different theme from any other series that I've been following, plus a complicated (and of course prolonged) conflicts, it makes me even more curious about the storyline of this series. Moreover, this series is played by supporting actors whose performance cannot be underestimated.
But to be honest, there are some parts where I have to speed up the pace while watching it. Not because it's too boring, but because of the limited time and long duration that made me have to manage my time effectively to be able to finish this series every week.

We’ve been reading this kind of synopsis in another (maybe 10-ish) of BL series, but still they’re trying to made this series. And stupidly I did watch this show lol
One reason that I didn’t drop this series is because I like Hae Bom’s character. I even love his development. Like a lot! If we compared with Tae Sung, he attracted me more with his charm and performance.
I knew they would put some silly girl in the middle, but I didn’t expect that kind of annoying person. I skipped a lot on that episode. 🤢

Flashback moments with a different point of view from the other characters, made me fascinated to follow this series to the end. Moreover, with a different disposition, which makes this series even more deserving of being included in my favorite series list of this year!!

This is actually my second series of Up that I watched, and I think this is the best his performance compared to the previous one (which I watched). But.... my impression of Kao is quite different, which is the opposite of his co-star.
Fortunately, the songs in this series have become one of my favorite ost bl series of this year.

Jujur, saya suka sekali sama cerita series ini. Dari awal mereka bertemu hingga akhirnya jatuh hati, berpisah lalu menyatu kembali. Namun permasalahan justru ada pada beberapa karakter yang mengganggu, baik dari segi akting maupun chemistry dengan pemain lainnya.
Ini series kedua Up yang saya tonton, dan saya rasa ini adalah penampilan terbaiknya dibandingkan dengan series sebelumnya (yang saya tonton). Lain halnya kesanku terhadap Kao, yang justru berlawanan dengan lawan mainnya dalam serial tersebut.
Untung saja lagu-lagu dalam series ini masuk menjadi salah satu lagi series bl favorite saya tahun ini.

From the second episode I tried to guess every detail about what could happen in every episode, and all (like every one of them) of the guessing are correct. :(
Oh man, that’s not funny. I was thinking “should I continue watch this series?” and yet, here I am writing this review.
Another biggest problem that occurred to this series was the acting of some characters that really annoyed me every time they talked.

Warm Body Meet Fido in Korean Version
To be honest, I’m usually not into drama (unless it’s BL, lol), so when I walked into the cinema I was expecting something closer to Train to Busan with a mix of Warm Bodies and maybe a sprinkle of Fido. Basically, I was ready for chaos, action, and some comedy, not a tear-jerking family drama disguised as a zombie flick. And let me tell you, I was not emotionally prepared for what this movie threw at me 😂. It’s funny, absurd, and sweet at the same time, but it leans way more on the heartfelt side than the gory zombie side.I actually ended up enjoying it a lot more than I thought. It’s quirky, heartwarming, and somehow manages to balance comedy with some really touching father-daughter moments. The whole “training your zombie kid” thing is both ridiculous and oddly moving, like, one minute I’m laughing at the absurdity, the next minute I’m holding back tears.

Another weakness of the entire show is the visual effects, which very disappointed me. They seem to have no intention of making this series. Or are they really lack of funds for production? damn!

Akibatnya adalah performa para pemainpun terasa sangat lemah dibanding series-series mereka sebelumnya. Yang paling terasa dari semua pemain adalah buruknya akting Fiat dan Mild pada episode 7. Gemas banget saya melihatnya! 😭
Sisi lain yang sangat mengecewakan adalah visual efek yang amat mengganggu. Mereka seperti tidak niat membuat serial ini. Atau memang kurangnya dana dalam proses produksi?

Honestly the story was quite simple with conflicts that are also not too heavy, but with good quality acting, this series cannot be denied to be completed in one day (or max 2 days) 😁
The accompaniment of beautiful songs in the ears adds to the feeling of interest in this series becoming even more brutal.
Now I'm just waiting for how their story continues. Please upload the english sub as soon as possible 😭😭😭

A Fortune Teller Could’ve Warned Me Not to Watch This..............
I’m really sorry to say this, but this might be the worst JimmySea series I’ve watched so far. I’ve followed this ship for years, so it honestly hurts a bit to admit that GMM totally dropped the ball on this one. I’m even more shocked seeing how high the rating is on MDL, because for me this is easily the weakest BL I’ve seen this year. Everything felt repetitive to the point that even their cute moments started feeling like deja vu. And I truly thought bringing First into the cast would help elevate the storyline… but nope. The plot was messy from the beginning, and it became obvious early on exactly where everything was heading. Knowing the ending before the journey even gets going? Yeah, not fun.It’s frustrating because the premise had potential, a skeptical ICU doctor forced into hiding after a series of bad omens predicted by his sister’s fortune-teller friend. That setup could’ve been mysterious, suspenseful, or at least quirky in a fun way. But instead, the story leaned way too hard on recycled romance beats and stretched them across episodes that felt longer than they actually were. The actual conflict where the villain pursuing Thap was barely explored, almost like an afterthought. By the time they revealed who the bad guy was, I just sighed because it was so predictable.
And yet… Jimmy and Sea themselves are not the problem. Their chemistry is still there, and they always commit to their roles. I stayed for them, honestly. If it weren’t JimmySea, I wouldn’t have made it past episode two. They did what they could, and they did look great on screen. The little easter eggs and fanservice were cute, but cute moments can’t save a fundamentally weak script.
Overall, this series felt like GMM trying to package something feel-good without crafting an actual story behind it. It’s pretty, it’s soft, and the vibes are relaxing, but it’s also predictable, slow, and kind of boring. I love JimmySea, but I think it’s time to give them fresher roles and a storyline that actually values their acting. This just wasn’t it.

This series got my attention since the pilot episode, I feel like it spoke to me how the show would gonna be. They seem promised me something great with all of those actors and story behind them, then one by one the feeling just faded. I don't know about you guys, but the ending was pretty messed up. For this kind of show, they should ended this series with an alternative version (of the final episode). It juts felt empty, boring and I don't even know how to describe it.
The good news is, this is the best series of OffGun that I've ever seen. :")

Sayangnya kecintaan gw sama hal terkait zombie, membuat gw tahan sampai habis akan drama-drama tak penting yang dihadirkan dengan adegan2 dramatisir ala drama korea pada umumnya.
Gw gak mau spoiler, tapi pembunuhan beberapa karakter yang terkesan sia-sia menjadi satu kelamahan serial ini. Padahal pembangunan (eh pengembangan) karakter sedari pilot episode yang begitu kental terasa hampa gitu aja demi menampilkan sosok sosok diadegan terakhir sebagai “karakter terkuat”. *fyuh*
Tapi gw harap banget netflix gak cancel serial ini, biar bagaimanapun series ini layak buat ada sequelnya.

Even though they didn’t want to label this series as a BL, but the chemistry amongst the leads said the opposite. Yet, I bravely say this is still a BL series but with a lot of censorship (like every single way of BL).
After all , I am not disappointed with this series, the performance of all actors were extraordinary. Even their supporters.

Namun saya tetap tidak kecewa dengan series ini, bagaimanapun performa kedua pemain utama sangat luar biasa. Ditambah dukungan para supported actors yang juga tak kalah hebat.

Both of the actors were great, They really are. I even loved how their eyes talked to each other without saying anything. Their performances are the only aspects that I respect of this series.
I hope someday their series would getting better, I missed the feeling of korean BL since Night Flight.

The hype that I felt in the first episode slowly faded as time goes by. After episode 2, I did realize that this series wouldn’t get any better. Even worse!
Honestly I really want to dropped this show (like any other shows that made me down), but turn out the cuteness amongst PitchBank kept me going till the last second.
Thank god they only have 8 episodes, I couldn’t imagine if they had more than 10 episodes 🤢

I started this series with hate, because my logic didn't agree what I saw on this series. How could you forgive someone who failed you? or even delaying you for your graduation? I did something terrible when my best friend took my book a month before final exam (when I was in college), I can't imagine what I would do If someone failed me on my test like sang-woo did.
But... at a leisurely pace I fell in love with this series. Especially when their feeling toward each other gradually improved in every episodes.
