This isn't nearly as bad as what I was lead to believe. In matter of fact, it's better than the absolute dumpster…
The issue I have with Big Dragon is that they try to shove multiple plotlines at us all at once. There is no time to breathe in the first 5-ish episodes and no time for any of those plotlines to truly flourish in the runtime we're given. 8 eps is far too short for the fiancé, dad's new girlfriend, old friend shows up again and going abroad plots. The pacing of their relationship is a bit off too. Anyway, the tone of the show is actually pretty nice and the way everything was filmed is beautiful. My favorite scenes are when they have the montage of spending time together at home and then the scene with Yai and Mangkorn's mom at the restaurant. It's lit and framed so nicely and the acting was really good. There is more that I like about this series than I hate, actually. I think it gets a little too much hate and the hate outshines the good about it. I don't regret watching it and I think overall it's far from being bad.
I think it's finally time to see just how bad this actually is. I'm so sick of seeing it in my queue lol.
This isn't nearly as bad as what I was lead to believe. In matter of fact, it's better than the absolute dumpster fire that was Gen Y 2. It's probably one of the best that has come out of Star Hunter Ent. considering how most of their shows are not so great.
I'm living for this god tier cheese. The retro sitcom background music. The swipe transitions. The panning and zooming. The editing looks straight out of silly 90s shows and I am here for it. I am remaining seated.
