This was uh, weird in a few ways. But anyway, the second couple? I had my suspicions but found it a little too illogical for Bing Chen to keep his wife's ashes in that coffee jar and then...lmao. Lu Xi really accidentally kicked Bing Chen's wife's ashes. No wonder he was so pissed off. It wasn't just the fact that Lan Xin painted the jar.
The second episode was really fun. I do have one complaint though, and that’s about the “royal meeting” where they were talking about gold and diamonds and stuff. The script there was really silly lol.
I need all the women complaining about the FL not taking the 2ML, to hear me. Just because someone is nice or…
They're using Lu Chang's behavior as some sort of defense for why Ming Shu should be with the SML, just because he treats her well. Let's let Ming Shu have autonomy, maybe? She doesn't have to be with SML just because ML treated her bad in the past. She also doesn't have to be with either of them if she doesn't want to. We as viewers know she's going to eventually be with ML but right now, she has amnesia, so using the ML as an excuse is not good. People can't stop tying her character to both men. They don't want to let her stand as a character herself.
This is what I've been seeing too and I'm kind of frustrated by it. Just because a guy likes you and does good…
With time being taken up by cases, attempted assassinations and jail time, I can see why it feels like it could have happened earlier in the writing, but I feel like it wouldn't have changed all that much. I still believe Ming Shu would have taken a similar timeframe to come to her conclusion, but we can agree to disagree. Thank you for the civil conversation.

I don't care what everyone else is doing, I just care that Ming Shu can make her own choices. When she started having dreams about the green robed man she mistook him as Qing Zhao and that's the only reason she had a "what if I like him" thing. It took her time to realize that she actually doesn't, regardless of if he is the man in her dream or not. Back a few eps ago in the academy when Qing Zhao was first giving her the hairpin, she had an inner monologue speaking of this exactly. She took some time to think about it, even with all of the stuff going on around her. When she finally got to breathe some, she sat down with the hairpin and had that conversation with Lu Chang's mom and also her friends. She mentioned she had even considered marriage before but didn't want to confuse friendship with romance. She came to her conclusion about her own feelings, because she wasn't 100% sure before. She's sure now. Then she promptly turned Qing Zhao down. She had to figure this out herself, Lu Chang's mom couldn't have done that for her. Lu Chang's struggle is understandable, but I also do believe he should have never been getting in the way of Qing Zhao, because ultimately, it's up to Ming Shu and Lu Chang can only be her brother for now. His attitude has caused Qing Zhao to be confused about why he's seemingly disliked by his friend. That's mean of Lu Chang lol.
Everyone is looking at what the guy is doing to be with her but that doesn't mean she has to like him romantically.
This is what I've been seeing too and I'm kind of frustrated by it. Just because a guy likes you and does good things for you, it does not mean that you owe them yourself. If a guy thinks that you're supposed to give yourself to them because of the things they do for you then that's entitled behavior. I don't see entitled behavior from Qing Zhao but I do see it all over this comment section on his behalf.
