There is NO excuse for Xiao Mo pretending to have died like that because of Lin Yan pushing him away to save Lin Corporation. That's a disgusting thing for him (or anyone) to do. Not only is it horrible in general, Xiao Mo KNEW Lin Yan went through a situation where her dad died and he made her relive that all over again just to prove she does care about him. Ffs I am not pleased. If I had been in her position I would be so traumatized and never trust him again. Something else that really pisses me off is how they framed Xiao Mo as the victim towards the end. Because he actually loves her, because he was the one who watched over her during the 3 years she was in a coma, because blah blah blah it's all Lin Yan apologizing for "not realizing"? As if him loving her makes Lin Yan the one who needs to apologize for the bad things Xiao Mo did and she can't be upset at him anymore because of it jfc. And WHY didn't Xiao Mo or Lin Yan try to prove that Ma Chengjun and Lili basically murdered her???? It's all about the company but they threw her off of a building??? HELLO? Are we just not following that plot point? Ma Chengjun even sexually assaulted her and threatened to kill her again!! Why didn't she report to the police that the guy who pushed her off the fcking building just threated to kill her again? When Ma Chengjun kidnaps Lin Yan, Xiao Mo doesn't even tell the police and instead tries to play the hero, very badly at that. Why does no one have brains in this show? And then Lili just randomly shows up to hit Ma Chengjun with a car? What? Lin Yan gets hit in the back once and they act like she was hit in the head and about to die but not long after she wakes up in the hospital and sits up like it's nbd so??? Um??? And then Xiao Mo is all "all I've done is to repay Mr. Lin's kindness" boy shut tf up. Is this not just a repeat of Lin Yan breaking up with you for Lin Corporation? lmao Writers......cut it out. And then our girl Lin Yan shows up to Xiao Mo's marriage with some other woman to protest the marriage but she shows up IN A WEDDING DRESS LMAO. He broke up with her because it was the condition his shit dad set to keep his grubby hands off of Lin Corporation and then he decides to run away with Lin Yan at the end anyway so??? What was it all for??? If you were going to do that then why were you willing to marry someone else in the first place? I liked the first half of this as the quality for a short drama was pretty good but omg did it go to shit in the second half.
