i knew they kept making him say all the wrong names because he was finally supposed to call her by her real name..but the question is how did he know she's Mirae because they introduced her to him as miji..ahhh IAM so on board with the straw berry cp 🤭🍓
The scene where Mirae yaps non stop to Sejin and he stares at her with a confused look and then goes " So you talk..you just choose not to" this is so relatable...like introverts can be closed off but once they get comfortable with someone then they slowly start coming out of their shells and it's clear Sejin is mirae's comfort person.🥺
The feeling this drama is giving reminds me of call it love....like the feeling of having something clutching onto your chest but you not crying physically either....loved the first episode....I guess my weekends are officially for crying with this our unwritten Seoul and oh my ghost clients..
If Mi Rae and the farmer guy won't end up together, I'll be hating the writers forever...And also it would be…
he figured it out himself too when he went to visit Miji ( Mirae ) in their hometown then discovered it more when the classmate asked her about the shoes...calling her name while she slept was just to confirm...
Just watched the pre release for episode seven where miji and hosu then sejin and mirae meet and I knew sejin and miji would match each other’s freak both being the extroverts and their shared love of their grandparents and then there are my introverts hosu and mirae:))))
I don't understand about gyeong gu situation, can you guys explain it to me
He is gay...to hide his secret he pretended to have a crush on Miji and even confessed to her... but then after they started dating he told her the truth..so they were never really a thing...just two friends holding onto a secret...which infact wasn't much of a secret because every one else knew but made fun of him and Miji...
Many, if not most, MDL commenters only see the surface and not the deep stuff; or see two-dimensional characters…
According to Mirae..it wasn't even attempted suicide she didn't want to take her life..she wanted to get hurt so much that she didn't have to go to work...that shouldn't even be an issue what should be is how much was she tortured at work..how much did she have to endure that her last resort to escape all that was to take the risk that could have even cost her..her own life....like seriously if you watching a show that's almost close to reality then I suggest you think of things on much more deeper level..but thats something some MDL commentors won't understand because they choose to see what they want to see and ignore that which they don't...
Is it really that hard to understand Mirae? Like the show places emphasis on something called empathy through putting your self in one's shoes that's literally shown by the twins switching places....
Mirae's mental deterioration, isn't a sudden event, but the result of a lifetime of pressures. As the 'sick child,' Mirae has always been cared for, likely internalizing a sense of being a burden, leading her to become an academic achiever and perfectionist to compensate. While her family never demanded it, she feels compelled to repay them.
Her workplace setting introduces psychological bullying – torment, rumors, and isolation – a form of abuse that is insidious. Though we've only seen a glimpse, the impact is clear. Instead of viewing her as 'weak,' the show encourages us to see her as 'helpless.' Exhausted and overwhelmed, her distress is understandable. Even her strong-willed sister, Miji, struggled with anxiety, mirroring Mirae's feelings of being cornered.
Mirae is perpetually tense, wanting to disappear, and it all stems from a loss of confidence she must slowly regain....Mirae isn't weak, but distressed, on a path to healing. While we don't yet have her full perspective..IAM sure the show has sort of provided us with enough to put two on two together and try and understand her....
Those who blame her for running away from her problems instead of facing then head on...even granny said " No matter how pathetic it looks... anything you do to survive is brave..." miji hid in her room for three years with anxiety and fear of facing what she saw as her self turning into nothing and the pressure foran unknown future...she was surviving then that's the same for Mirae...she tried to hold on and couldn't she even came up with a crazy idea of jumping from her floor to get injured just so she doesn't have to go to work..and when that failed she grabbed the first opportunity to leave it all behind even just for a few days..she was surviving too....
& then when she said she’d rather have him thinking she did a sloppy job bec she didn’t try than have him…
I cried because this was me during my first month at work..I would rather have everyone thinks IAM inexperienced than let them know that I actually gave it my all but my all wasn't even good enough....🥲 I think you protect your self better that way....but it's sad to know that your best isn't actually good enough...despite how much effort you put in it...to be the best
It's alarming how some people see it as a competition when both couples, Miji & Hosu and Mirae & Sejin, have such unique and engaging dynamics. Hosu and Miji's story, from childhood friends to lovers, is so sweet. They lean on each other, sharing vulnerabilities and a history of feeling guilty over loved ones...they are like each other's anchor...
Then there's Mirae and Sejin, two lost souls on a journey to finding themselves and then connecting through shared interests. They're just getting started, but their dynamic is already captivating.
What's interesting is the parallel: Miji brings Hosu out of his shell with her energy, just as Sejin does for Mirae. Both pairs have this dynamic of one helping the other break free. I can't wait for the next episode with all the four meeting.
For those saying Mirae & Sejin has "no chemistry" there's been hints throughout the drama that they'd be a thing…
I've been shipping them since day one lol because I knew they were gonna be a thing....their dynamics are cute as well and they do have chemistry..I love how they are both similar yet different people and somehow share similar experiences with the fact they they both had corporate jobs before and then quit...well people just didn't pay close attention to them but since the story is going to shift to them taking the centre stage..more people will notice them as well.
