personally enjoyed every minute of it..I love murder mysteries that go for laid back yet intense psychological thriller vibes...it not. necessarily a block buster but I was still placed at the edge of my seat and yeah they made my murder board look like a joke because I was so off....I had a feeling I might actually feel for the perpetrator but I didn't expect it to be as much as I did...the directing acting cinematography pacing...I enjoyed it... thoroughly...it wasn't all that dramatic but engaging nonetheless.
On my way to watch the last two episodes..after à voiding spoilers at all costs....this has been a wonderful show and all it needs to do is wrap this up nicely and it's getting a great rating from me.
Because Miji&Mirae doesn't show its true face,Grandma who sprinkles salt until the real thing comes out. Han Se-jin…
Sejin not calling Mirae by the name of mini because it's not hers makes so much sense lol like he keeps getting her name wrong because it's not even her name in the first place
Episode 4 did really hit me like a train. I am at this point of my life where i feel like i am nowhere while my…
insecure people are those that find flaws and call out others to make themselves feel better...don't let any one judge you..we all move at different speeds and we all despite seemingly having the same destination are heading towards completly different paths...maybe it isn't our time yet but it soon will be...IAM also at that point in my life where every ones moving forward and IAM the only one that's stuck....but we shall be okay....like Miji said Yesterday is gone.. tomorrow is yet to come and today is yet unknown.
" Why do I keep attacking myself in moments where I should be protecting myself?"
Miji who sees her self as miserable and that she is a down fall to everyone and every one around her and Mirae who feeks like only sees her self..only her struggles matter and her problems count..in short self centred...this is actually sad because they have learnt to accept this so called reality of themselves instead of refuting it....miji who thinks of her self as a downfall to everyone around her is actually the reason why many people around her like feel good about themselves...her friendly and outgoing personality radiates and touches them all...while Mirae who thinks she's is selfish and only her problems and struggles matter didn't even think twice before she cut her hair and took the place of her twin so she never failed any of her classes..its sad that they can't let themselves see this side of eachother because of various circumstances...most of it being psychological because as humans the more we told something the more we slowly accept it...and make it out reality...this is a form of self perception seriously how many of us believe we are a specific kind of person just because we have internalised whatever has been told to us and made it a reality.
Maybe im not really focus when i watch it, why mi rae being abandon at her office?
she saw a colleague being isolated and decided to speak up at the investigation..they all found out that she did it so they started bullying her instead....that and I believe a couple of more things because they also have been hunting on her being the reason some one was fired..but haven't gone more into the details.
A victim of circumstances is someone who is negatively affected by events or situations beyond their control...that's literally most characters in this show..the twins their mom... understanding a character doesn't necessarily mean that you can't be fuelled by some of their actions but like I said the theme is to put your self in another person's shoes to be able to understand them...you don't need to forgive their actions but maybe knowing who and how certain things happened that explains their actions and help you heal better as a person...and so far that's what is happening to Miji and Mirae...
i know just came back from tiktok and the way her character is being blamed for everything even her falling by…
Don't mind them..most are just tiktok watchers watching clips here and there and then forming an opinion of the show and it's characters which is funny.
I hope we get to see Mirae POV and story more in the next few eps as currently everything is being shown from…
i know just came back from tiktok and the way her character is being blamed for everything even her falling by saying she hugged her crush like please let's sit down a bit...I can't wait to get her pov because frankly speaking non of the twins are the villain in each others stories some are acting like they haven't had siblings and can't relate
In this show, the core theme revolves around the powerful idea of " Stepping into one's shoes to be able to understand them." —literally, as the characters switch places. This premise allows them to experience each other's lives firsthand, challenging their initial perceptions.
Mi-ji, who felt overlooked and unsupported, especially by her mother, who prioritized her sick sister, embodies this struggle. Forced to abandon her dreams and become self-reliant, she masks her pain with a smile, battling anxieties about an uncertain future and constantly being compared to her seemingly more successful sister, Mirae.
Mirae, who initially seemed to have it all figured out, becomes the focus of Mi-ji's indifference. However, through the swap, Mi-ji realizes that Mirae is also facing challenges, including a demanding job, workplace bullying, and burnout...and is about to find out more that has probably not been revealed yet...
The show explores the multifaceted nature of suffering, refusing to quantify or compare the hardships faced by the sisters. Both Mi-ji and Mirae grapple with their own pressures and anxieties, and the series beautifully highlights their realization that the other's life wasn't as effortless as it seemed.
It's crucial to avoid judging Mirae solely through Mi-ji's perspective, particularly in the flashbacks. Even without direct insight into her thoughts, the narrative hints at the experiences that shaped her. The series' strength lies in its characters, especially the sisters, who are equally relatable.
This show's brilliance lies in its central theme of "stepping into one's shoes to understand them," which extends to all characters, including the mother. They are not perfect but are instead victims of circumstances, undergoing growth and development.
low-key loving Sejin and Mirae..they don't have much going on just two people with similar yet different personalities...their interactions are cute well loving their two minutes of screen time ðŸ¤
fr SO SAMMEE finally someone said this lol, I know how we used to watch every drama with 16 ep and now hell na,…
I understand every one wants the 16 episodes format back but my attention span just can't especially when the drama doesn't have the plot to fill the 16 episodes without seemingly dragging or having fillers...so Iam glad most dramas have adopted the 12 and below episode format..let's face it not every drama needs to be 16 episodes long..as for this..I can't judge without watching but I hope it doesn't drag
9/10
