If you don't understand Chinese, the parallel lives might get a bit confusing, but the general gist of the story is simple and well communicated. As long as you don't look too deep into it, i'd say it's simple to understand

Its been a while since I watched it but I don't think the main girl tries to suicide in this version. From what I remember, she dies in the first two lives from car accidents.

i admire the numerous couples in this drama being able to put the goals they have for life ahead of each other. rare to see in dramas.

its not a pregnant dude tho, its a conjoined twin. very natural, but still quite the abnormal and painful process.

theres a grand total of 3 misunderstandings between just the main leads alone, mostly about the same thing (tou gege why don't you trust me!! zhier i just want to protect you!!) followed immediately after tou nearly dying for her and xuezhi understanding that she cannot live without him but if you look past that they have a pretty smooth sailing relationship.

they really decided to tie up everyones stories except xia qingmeis lmao he just went insane and disapparated off to somewhere; xuezhi and tou got married, fengzi went back home, zhusha became the next sect leader with chequ as her own head protector, muyuan died, the kingly brothers reunited and had a nice cry (which xuelei did not deserve by the way, tf he killed so many people! and basically his own wife and kid!! does he not get any punishment?!!) muyuan died second lead style, even xue zhi's second father gets a happily ever after.

i wasn't going to watch this, but they actually put effort in making the female lead look like she was disguising herself. that alone has garnered my approval. not too big of a fan of the long winded exposition about people i haven't learned to care about told and enacted by people i also haven't found a purpose to care about yet.

did we watch the same itakiss?? irie was way meaner than jiang chen, and kotoko still followed him like a lost puppy.

did i skip most of the story? yes. was wzx an absolute ass? yes. but damn, ljb and dx make a cute couple. im waiting for the cp compilation
