i know that fans were saying that they were hoping for three endings, and we did get them in a sense:
sad ending = WJH gets hit by the car
open ending = HF finds her way back
happy ending = WJH is working with HF at the same hospital and carries her back home after the high school reunion

i think its more of an inside joke between them than him actually being scared to ask her out, and both of them wanting an actual "asking out" scene to be perfect. the reason why people assume that wjh would have the memories is cause nn has memories of her time travel (second timeline) in the third timeline

1st timeline: HF dies because of WJH making her leave table/car accident (year 1) -> 9 years later NN time travels back; NN now has memories of time travel
2nd timeline (NN's time travel): NN begins journey before HF dies -> NN burns in bbq resturaunt , HF meets WJH (year 1) -> HF gets attacked by fans and dies -> 9 years later WJH time travels back; WJH now has memories of time travel
3rd timeline (ep 2-23): WJH begins journey before HF dies -> WJH gets in coma* from car accident, NN dies from fans attacking (year 1) -> 9 years later HF time travels back; HF now has memories of time travel
4th timeline (ep 24): Successfully saves everyone -> 9 years later -> ep 24; all 3 (NN, HF, WJH) have memories of time travel.
the paper says that he dies, but usually they try to not keep dead bodies in the hospital beds so I'm assuming he was alive

i'm assuming that like by going through that door, han fei went back 10 years ago and lived the hs life we saw in the flashbacks. judging by nan nan and jinghao's conversation, i'm assuming that jinghao would've kept his memories from his first time back, and they would've started their dating but not dating phase then.

it might not have been the production team's decision. it was released on tv and not as a webdrama, and you know how sarft gets.

yeah i'm pretty sure that it was a post production change, which is why the dubbing sounds super strange when talking about ctf. i think its cause they wanted to promote a more "serious career" similar to how chinese parents are much more inclined towards a kid who likes compsci over a kid who likes mmorpgs, but the whole fl's parents don't approve of ml plot is so strange when he's an it guy.

i was wrong. yiyi has no identity, and the other plot points basically all occured in the last 3 episodes, with the exception of the war, which didn't occur at all. man, this is as cute as it is lackluster

watch it be planned and delayed and after finally passing the govt we get it 4 years later with a whole new cast :^ )

yes! my first language was chinese, so i usually understand what's going on without subs. good luck to finding an engsub version

im still feeling mildly disappointed over chusan, so maybe that's carrying over, but i feel that this cast has the potential to play off the turning evil trope well. and by god, do i want to find out what 10 kills sect's actual motive is and how that connects to jbz!
