im not too sure about the self study part, but the last year in china is basically one year long review session for their college entrance exams

i think the only loose end that they havent tied up is the mom rn. i skipped over a lot of it, so i dont really know how the dad and mom exist in the same universe, but the only plot that makes sense at this point is the mom forcing him to leave fl and to inherit her business. they'll likely spend a few filler episodes on the second couple and then focus on ml's family.

well, first of all, don't always base your opinions off of forums. also, that still doesn't show that zs would have better chemistry with xz than dd. either way, these are all assumptions and theres a high likelihood that neither dd or xz will play this. i'd say that open minded means to not judge a production until you've watched it. unless you are living the dream of being a time traveler, i doubt you've watched it, no matter what cast.

definitely! im used to zyc and zls playing comedic/youthful roles, and this more serious drama seems very refreshing.

now ive seen both girls and am pretty chill with their acting. with the right situation, both have sizable acting skills, but with unsuitable roles, theyve both underperformed. that being said, how would you know how the chemistry is between either xz and zs or sz and dd? theyve never acted in anything together. keep an open mind no matter what, or just click that nice little not interested button at the top.

its this idealized puppy love that is very predominant in asian media. however, their relationship at the end when they meet a few years later is nice and it makes more sense and is more stable.

plotwise and characterwise it was pretty terrible. but the beautiful actors/actresses and costumes and this weird addictive factor kept me going till the very end. id probably say 10 miles of peach blossoms is jof 2.0 tho.

so far this is kind of lacking as a romance but amazing as a comedy. im sorry fu pei, but i cant take you seriously lmao
