You might find it boring if you're only interested in the romance aspect - a lot of it follows the mom and her growth/regression; as a Closer to You fan it was honestly worth it for me just to skip around to their scenes so if you want to you can do that!

They do have a romance, but it's not the center of the show. The characters are childhood friends, and they have a really cute scene in ep. 10 if you're mostly gunning for Yinan and Sabrina content like I was. Honestly the mother-daughter relationship really blew me away towards the end of the show though, and I came in with the same shipping goals as you.
