finished watching. the story is more of a female centric action than a romance. theres a lot of twists and since i binged it i don't think i understand all of them.
aside from being written by the same writer, how is this related to a love so beautiful and put your head on my…
from what i know, these all happen in the same world. i havent watched this one, but the female leads from alsb and pyhoms end up working at the same company, if you pay attention to names around the career age of alsb
bian cheng, why are you trying to ruin li yubings career? how will this make tangxue break up with him? when did you even start liking her? if you liked her why didn't you accept her confession when she liked you? this could've been a highschool sweethearts drama if you weren't such a b- i don't even understand you at this point your scenes are boring and stop spending all your time talking to old people istg im tired of skipping your scenes
Hello, can anyone tell me that eventually the cousin will disappear from the scenes, or at least she will definitely…
after episode 21, she ad tang xue have a talk and reconcile. if you care to get very spoiled, she finally admits that really she only fought for li yubing because she was jealous of tangxue since she was a child, not cause she actually liked him. she is currently trying (and failing) to get biancheng to stop their original plan of breaking up tang xue and li yubing. the other side female, zhang yuewei, also gets better around episodes 26-27. currently the side females are improving while he side males deteriorate in my standards (and i have big sls usually).
I have a feeling he's going become like Run Yu from Ashes of Love and that's a thought that scares me.
that actually makes a lot of sense but i don't want that to happen my poor child i just want him to have a life outside of his sl role. they seem to be focusing the "villain in love with main" character onto bian cheng tho
at this point someone get yu yan a gf his own age im not sure if this is getting sad or creepy. he looked so pretty in the beginning i want that version back.
finally finished it: the fl is definitely the star of this drama, and i wish they tied up the real world part nicer. the ml always looks like hes pouting for some reason. if you turn off your brain and focus on the fluff its a cute watch. happy ending, but kind of open (its the shes back and they reunite with a hug in the last two minutes to please fans kind of ending cdramas love)
yuewei is getting kind of annoying? idk at this point she annoys me more than the girl thats being put in just to annoy me and i find myself skipping her scenes entirely. i hope she gets better instead of just being the person in power who can bully tangxue to push along the plot.
this drama isn't bad for a harem isekai - it hits all the things you want to see in a harem isekai - but man the budget shows. there was a scene where the ml whips back his robes and you can actually see his non-ancient chinese denim jeans.
If Lusi is just a "apparence" does that mean that in the end the real princess "apparence" will take place ? Argh,…
the face change seems permanent. the way they've described it so far, it seems like its not like "cosmetic" or a skin on top of her face. her old face is just gone
i almost miss the leukemia plot line. this is still a great show, and the chemistry of the cast is as strong as ever, but the current plot seems very similar to multiple shows (girl has to pretend to be the wife of a ceo cause she was caught on camera with him, plot ensues), with the love triangle appearing early on. i do hope that they avoid making it too messy with the crime/family drama, and keep the characters as charming as they were in the first version throughout the drama.
Yes 90% of romantic Chinese dramas have one it's their thing/trope like flyingI just roll with it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
just finished. the 2ml does get a bit on the "im taking her by choice or by force" side for a bit, but it all works out in the end and he's not really a bad guy. didnt get sls, but also didn't want to kill him midway through the show.
the realism in character development is only matched by the lack of realism in character costume. writing and acting were perfect for this drama, and the tao-baoesque costuming and set grow on you throughout the episodes each character has a little chance to shine, and both friendships and relationships develop subtly and sweetly. xiao jing's character surprised me the most - i generally dislike the "healer" archetype, but her earnest nature and understanding of what must be done won me over.
okay, lets all be real, the evil guy is one of the most pyscho people we've ever seen in cdrama LOL i love the…
han dong does villains almost too well. his 9th prince is still one of the most iconic bad guys in period dramas, and he sure does not disappoint here.
