It's exactly the wrong translation. In the original Korean language : "속보입니다. 팔티마 공습이 이루어지고…
Wow if this is a case of mistranslation I am not even surprised. Netflix has a horrible history of consistently being lazy with displaying accurate translations and making out of context subtitles that never match what the characters say. It’s to the point I dread when netflix picks up kdramas I look forward to watching. Literally the character will say “did you eat?” In hangul and the eng subtitles will show “how was the food”. It’s disgusting of Netflix to use their mistranslations to push an agenda and they need to apologize but they never will.
Not me getting bored by EP 3 even though it's only 7 episodes long 😩 It is a cute drama and the leads have good chemistry but I guess it's just not giving what it should be giving.
I'm not going to add everything that has been said about aiko, she's a real manipulative bitch, but the problem…
It sounds really sick when you put it that way, I'm glad I gave up at the 3 episode mark, something about his inner dialogues and repeating that he loved her felt like a warning sign that this man will never fully move on from her.
When I will feel that I am watching 2021 Japanese drama. Why all Jp dramas feel old and outdated in terms of technology.…
It's not that they're using outdated technology or small budgets therefore their film quality is low, no. Japanese film/tv industry place importance in authenticity and realism. They use natural lighting and rarely use filters or fancy camera work like drones .. don't compare to Korean dramas cause they rely heavily on oversaturation, brightening, and sharp contrast. You'll notice even Korean movies don't look anything like Korean dramas, they're more subdued and dark.
It's starting out so messily I better quit while I'm ahead lmao. Normally these daily dramas have if not believable at least strong starts that grab your attention. Like the so called bad guys made so many dumb mistakes and pointless criminal acts that I'm bewildered and offended by the writers. If you're into the whole mom abandones her children to run away from poverty and instead raises rich children who are not hers, check out Love Is Drop By Drop it's miles better, or Apujeong Midnight Sun which gives you interesting and complicated characters
Oh Ha Joon seems immature from first episodes, hopefully it's all an act. but I've noticed most revenge daily dramas the dudes are all useless, especially the ones who's family are the victimizers. I died at that parasite trying to be with him and hook up with him all because he's rich. Forgot her name but she's really the most pathetic, she has the audacity to look down on people and get mad when she's literally a 30 year old parasite leeching off of others.
There are so many reasons why I'm excited for this drama *_* the plot and aesthetics being one, but mostly I love the red string of fate trope and I can't wait to see how that plays out. And finally it looks like Tan Song Yun will be doing a mature role fit for age.
I've noticed kdramas are no good with Science fiction or action, they're better at doing melodramas, romance,…
There's no explaining, I literally said they do certain genres better than others, period. I watch more korean shows than western shows so what would I be comparing it to
Atrocious 1st episode. Heroine barely in a shirt modeling on train!!? This was right out of some modeling photoshot.…
I've noticed kdramas are no good with Science fiction or action, they're better at doing melodramas, romance, family, and comedy and historical. I tap out when the drama is advertised as action, couldn't stand Athena and Iris and they're on the recommended list for this drama.
How can you be so childish: "I came first, I liked you first" lol as if that gives her a right over him.
Loool this is the first I hear the second lead actually saying that, we know in most dramas they feel entitled to the person they like but they never voice it in such plain faced way xD
Wow this drama did not go how I expected it would. Too complicated and for what?? The kids could have stayed young and experiencing their innocent childhood days while at the same time Jae Hee's character Gyung Soo has his own life and experiences with his restaurant, finding love, and entanglements with the rich people. With all this plot and character development and 2 generations of a family things would never drag in the drama and 120 episodes would fly by. Age them up for what? That seoul boy Jung Hoon was already annoying how can he be a lead and love interest for Young Shin??? Naaaaah.
Don't worry, it's a different episode count due to different episode length in various releases. You will not…
Oh that's helpful, thanks for replying. I enjoyed it thoroughly but now I'm sad I don't have anymore episodes, it's my second time watching it but first time completing it all the way ^^b
I died at that parasite trying to be with him and hook up with him all because he's rich. Forgot her name but she's really the most pathetic, she has the audacity to look down on people and get mad when she's literally a 30 year old parasite leeching off of others.
It won't be bad if he develops a completely different personality.
