I never thought I'd see the day this actress plays a lead :O usually she's the annoying best friend/side character. Her eyes are a bit unnerving ngl... Maybe her styling and makeup will be normal in this drama :/

Kairos is so underrated it's an outrage! I thought I was shook by the way ep 6 ended but ep 7 was even more insane, bravo writers!
Waiting for the episodes to be subbed on Viki is also painful. the episodes come out Monday/Tuesday and here I am waiting for Tuesday's to be completely subbed.. it's now Sunday and it's not, let me go and cry myself to sleep, excuse me.
The poster is misleading, it seems like they're the leads and not Im Siwan/Shin Sekyung. It's been forever since Siwan did a drama so I can't wait, also this will be his first 'normal typical dude' role in years.
Im on episode 18, and it has taken me so time. I think because the story doesnt flow its like a bumpy ride in…
Interesting comment, I'm not that far in so I don't know if my opinions will change and I become frustrated with the plot but so far I'm really enjoying it.
The general opinions on JJOL are confusing. Some people would not know a good drama if it hit you over the head. Must be the lack of cliche scenes, overly bright colours and displays of aegyo like acting that is off putting for some. I am not a fan of dramas where the leads have weird intimate scenes by the second episode and I hate dramas where there is no natural progression of affection. This drama doesn't do that, it is a slow burn and that is the best type of romance books/shows in my humble opinion. If you want to see two very capable people living their life day to day, how they end up crossing paths due to common interests and how they bicker and slowly get close while solving a mystery, then watch this.
I haven't watched episode 15 yet but the general vibe I'm getting is not good lol.
My feelings about this drama is really ... bittersweet. I honestly hyped this drama more than anyone, I really thought we were getting something unique and interesting, a story with substance and realistic characters.. but alas like most kdramas DYLB will suffer from writers who don't know how to wrap up the last 5 episodes of their drama. No I don't want a time skip KOREA, I would like every character, the ones who suffered and the ones who caused suffering to slowly have had character resolutions, walk us through it. Writernim you introduced the entire plot within the first 4 episodes, therefore you could have resolved all the whys, how and where in the last 5 episodes, but you didn't. You wasted episode 13 and 14 with nonsense. Uninspired, unwanted, unfinished product. It's disappointing, from now on if I really like a drama I'll continue to stop at ep 12 cause it always goes to shit from there.
oddly, I was not used to the cinematography when I first watched this drama and actually would've liked this filmed…
Omg same, certain things about it keep making me feel like it's a daily drama, and I'm shocked that it's almost completed. But I also agree that it could be too long for some people, personally the longer the drama the better xD
Yes this is a good drama! It deserves to be a 50 episode weekend makjang, I want to see a proper revenge for our lead female and everything she was put through, it's so heartbreaking to see her suffer so. However it's only 16 episodes so I doubt they will develop the story as well as they could. But maybe they will prove me wrong and we'll get a cohesive resolution for all the characters.
Not SA's fault though this shouldn't come as a surprise. The prof lured her into doing the assistance work and…
Yesss when you view it as Song Ah's learning experience it's easier to swallow how she is treated by the prof and other rude people. These things happen in life~
Fans of this novel have to be the most entitled bunch I have ever seen. For a novel that's highly criticized even…
Damn they have complaints about Arthur? Any webtoon adaptation would be lucky to have such a hard-working and incredibly talented young actor bring their character to life. It's fine, they'll be stanning him once this airs.
