If you have no expectation I think this drama can be a good watch. Main guy is too robotic and I understand that can be his personality, but I need him to soften up and grow into more of a human character as the show unfolds. All side characters serve their roles well, I'm enjoying how in depth and detailed the story is.
Seriously a good drama, I'm obsessed. I love all the characters but I have to say specifically I adore Fan Xian and Uncle Wu interactions, I need him to make a comeback soon where is he??? Prince Jing and his adorable ears <3 and going along with whatever Fan Xian says is also hilarious.
I'm excited to witness the comradery between Bang Won and Hwi, it's the only relationship I'll be paying attention to lol. Too many strikes against Seonho it's adding up and hard to justify all the wrongs he's committed, I love how the story is trying to lead us to believe "IT'S HIS FATHER DUH!!" but even Nam Jeon told Seon Ho stop playing, your choices are what make you who you are. Seon Ho took a sick girl's brother away, you can't come back from that sorry.
Seol In-ah and Kim Jae-young's characters were so cute on the train with the gummy worms and pizza bread. Interesting…
One of the most natural and endearing scenes I've seen from kdrama for awhile, I loved it too! Yes you're right that the items Joon Hwi found will be what triggers her memory of him later, but I was also hoping when she was holding on to his military tag necklace that it would break and she keeps it, and thus they both have each other's belongings, it would be much cuter ????????
This drama was not what I was expecting at all, it's a bit heavy but not in the typical makjang overdramatic way, the story is unique and the relations between the characters is going to be fun. I'm happy as long as Seol In Ah and Kim Jae Young are the main leads because they seem the most relateable.
I don't know on which episode you posted this but Shiwol is still actually showing some of her cleverness. Like…
I posted that 14 days ago so that was maybe 10 episodes ago give or take, at the time she hadn't done a single proactive thing. But it's good if she's starting to use her brains again ????
The writers track record is solid, previously she's done Twinkle Twinkle (one of the best imo I loved it so much) Scandal (the epitome of intense and thoroughly brilliant plot, I still think about it years later) I Have A Lover (started out really good but I got a little uncomfortable with the cheater husband turned good guy bit) I have a good feeling about this new drama but only if she follows suit with her previous work, the focus on the characters who are strong and likeable. I won't care about whether I like the Actors or not because look at how Mother of Mine turned out, trash drama xD
I can give it that with the Ji Min mess I cant blame her it would break down a mother the behavior of a child…
I don't just mean the whole thing with Jimin running away if that's what you are talking about. Her whole role is worthless now, she had all the power and it went to nothing.
In Graceful Family the ultra rich elite plutocrat family has an entire surveillance Agency responsible for covering up all their messy lifestyles and doing their dirty work. The funny thing is how the agency has an ex special forces agent, a Prosecutor, an ex news reporter and a hacker. I don't know if that's too cliche or not, but they're certainly leaving nothing to chance and covering all their bases.
Underrated drama of the season, everyone should be watching this one.
Though Shiwol has become pretty much a useless character this drama is really good and keeps your attention completely, it's the best revenge daily I've seen in awhile now.
The family ties and bonds are just as strong in Korean culture as it is in Latina culture so that's one aspect the remake will definitely get right. Korean writers and staff are also great at portraying melodrama and high emotions in their programs, honestly JTV is one of those plotlines that anyone can do justice to but I think a kdrama version would be lit because they already have an abundance of similar dramas: Heir apparents of conglomerates? Family drama? Conflict between the rich and the poor? The culture taboo of pregnancy before marriage? Check check check.
