I really liked this show, but i m getting tired how Na Hee is always selfish and rude, but Gyu Jin always runs…
They took the cold and fierce and successful woman bit too far. You can be amazing at your job and still be a decent human being. Should have known when she told that scared boy in the early episodes to suck it as she gave him a shot that she was bad news. Her character reminds me of the female lead in My Daughter Seoyeong, she was also insufferable and acted like she was always right.
I honestly agree with you, they’re pretty boring and it’s why I kinda stopped watching. Now that there are…
The oldest sister right? Her blooming romance does look cute, with more episodes it definitely makes it easier to skip to the characters we care about.
I thought about sticking through it but I realized I don't have to, this is a long running weekend drama there's no point wasting my time if I don't love it. But I will be catching the cut scenes of the couple I like since they really do bring a smile to my face, hopefully there's a YouTube edit.
This show would be perfect if it wasn't for how boring and pointless the doctor couple are. Please don't tell me that their incessant arguing is suppose to be cute or endearing? To who? Who would find their toxic and childish behaviour anything but irritating? The good thing is that the other couples are enjoyable. The youngest sis has a personality that is a ten times better then her so called amazing Doctor sister and Jae Seok is the more likeable Yoon brother, their interactions is reminiscent of my fav couple in Five Enough. Yes to scene stealers *_*
This used to be on viki I don't know why they got rid of it *eye roll* but it's a really good watch, highly recommend it if you like new tales of gisaeng and slow burn romances. The female lead is an independent and efficient woman, her siblings get a bit annoying sometimes but I love how they dealt with everything life threw at them, they were a tight unit. Oh and her parents suck. It definitely doesn't deserve the low rating it has on here, I would rate it an 8.8. It was a nice surprise seeing Go Na Eun, the female lead here, is now also starring in Brilliant Inheritance, my quarantine daily drama of summer 2020 ;p
Saying that is the same as saying you can guess the plot of all romance kdramas. Like wow I can totally guess…
My thoughts exactly, we all know kdramas follow formulas almost religiously, the only thing that will be new is the main plot and how they tell their story. And that's what differentiates good dramas from the bad ones. I find it funny how people always harp on daily dramas as if the 16 episode drama are not doing the same things over and over again too.
I can't gush enough about this drama, honestly the amount of people that have only positive reviews about it says it all. This drama has become my happy place, even with all that triggering stalker stuff, the chemistry between all the actors and their easy banter doesn't fail to bring a smile to my face every episode. With only a few more episodes left I don't want this to end... I'll seriously miss the strong storytelling of this drama and couple goals Anchor nim and Yeo Ha Jin.
So I watched the first week's episodes and this little detail in the summary caught my attention "but his disdain for Gye Ok and her presence in his aging father’s life motivates him" after the way EP 5 ended cue Opera Winfrey whatisthetruth.gif meme.
So of course I checked out the band Tine is obsessed with, Scrubb. They're great definitely, but, I like Sarawat's voice better, it's more acoustic and angsty so that it suits the meaning of the lyrics. The actor should seriously consider recording an acoustic mixtape *_*
I think we'll see him come to his senses. Early on, if we hadn't been able to hear his thoughts via voiceover…
I like the point you made about Geun Soo and how SRY sees the best in everyone. And I thought SRY was suppose to positively impact Geun Soo, that he would be different from his family, but making him turn traitor this late in the game, (only 4 episodes left) doesn't make sense to me, it's messy no matter how you try paint. However if Geun Soo has non selfish plans, and plans to destroy Jangga from within, then it's a different story.
A frugal dad and materialistic mom? Sorry but that already sounds like a bad combo. I can just imagine how horrible and insane the mom will act bringing all sorts of problems to her daughter's and their work lives and relationships. No thanks.
I watched the anime first and I loved it, everything about it was just captivating and perfectly orchestrated. Then I watched the Netflix live action and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I was into it even though I had already seen the plot. When they said live action they really brought this drama to life, it was gorgeous in ever sense of the word.
Rewatching this again. The amount of feels and giddiness I get from this gorgeous drama is unmatched. I would say Magical and Human are words that come to my mind when I think of this drama. We need to find the writer and director because the kdrama industry is in desperate need of good and wholesome storytelling.
