No I don't think he would prevail if NDS was played by LJS. Maybe there'd more fans of Dosan since LJS is arguably more famous and has a lot of hit dramas, but I think we all agree that it's the character that gets on our nerves, not NJH the actor. It's NDS's choices and actions that are so unlikable.
Yongsan's reason for wanting to go to 2sto and making a lot of money there is....because he doesn't want HJP ("that jerk") to remember them as failures? Omg why are the reasons for all their decisions so pathetic, i'm embarassed for them

Yes, he needs growth and has to learn things. BUT not in the last 4 episodes. It's too late now to show a believable charcter growth for him. They should have made him grow little by little at least from episode 5/6, but he stayed the same until now (or worse I dare say, we saw his new unlikable traits).

Ughh what a shame *sigh* Even if he's crazy rich? I thought both parents were needed to ensure that the parents would be able to provide a comfortable life (money-wise) for the adopted child, and since hjp is rich enough to cover everything needed... *Sigh*
I just had a thought. For HJP to end up with only the grandma as a "family member" would be depressing, she's old already, and she's dalmi's grandma and Dosan would be in the picture as her husband and seeing them both would be depressing af for hjp. For HJP to be paired up with a random cameo at the end would be a shame too, since we wouldn't be invested because we didn't follow how the relationship developed.
But, WHAT IF in the end HJP adopts an orphan??? He'd be brilliant as a father tbh. Then maybe we can have one last scene of him running into some woman when he's with his adopted son on a walk, and then stop scene and we as viewers can imagine them dating and forming a family together. (this last part about a woman is optional)
