Start-up is quite literally like a kpop group with an enormous fanbase. Watching start-up is very enjoyable, and…
I actually love it more because of the comments and all the debate (here on mdl and reddit in particular, I don't know what happens on twitter for example, and if you're coming from twt or instagram preaching HERE about things that people do there then I don't know what to say to you..."I'm always seeing people saying Jipyeong is perfect"... well, if you ever read THIS commen section, and more than just 10 comments once in 3 weeks, you'll realize we all agree that HJP has flaws, but these flaws are logical and make us love him, and when ppl point out dosan's flaws they state their reasons for that). There are so many interesting takes, analysis and constructive criticism, that it makes me want to keep watching this drama. Just keep your mind open and try to understand things from different perspectives without labeling everythings as delusional and "biased" just because they seem to favour HJP a lot lol People often come here much much after the release of the episode, and ofc they see comments without proper explanations of their opinions, since a lot of us ALREADY discussed things before and it's pretty redundant and tiring repeating everything over and over again.
PS. @ fellow commenters, I also love all your funny theories and jokes!
Is it just me or DS and DM never defined their relationship? But DS think she's his girlfriend? Without proper…
I think it's the writer's thing... Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember the leads in pinocchio or wyws ever define their relationship after the kiss for example. After the kiss they like start acting as if they're together, but I don't remember them addressing their dating status. It's just implied? Idk Also in Dream High, Suzy kissed the guy but we never get to know if they're dating or not because it's like never addressed (or I might have skipped that bit and didn't realize? who knows) lol (and in the end she chooses another guy btw).
But did you see NDS's gaze during the fight when he went on top of HJP? Totally crazy, filled with so much anger and rage... I don't understand why he was THAT angry. Scary stuff imo, I wouldn't want a bf who can burst into anger like that..
Also ngl I'm glad it was NDS that threw the first punch and not HJP. Glad he wasn't ooc in that moment. (In the preview of ep11 it looked like it was hjp that punched first)
So it looks like SDM will pine for NDS for 3 years. She did the same for the letters-dosan for 15 years, but then fell in love with the impostor letter-dosan (real NDS).
I wonder what she would do if a robot looking exactly like NDS (for example the robot in "are you human too" looked a real human) went to Dalmi pretending to be the real NDS, and dalmi thought that he's the real NDS... Would she fall in love with this robot-AI version of NDS? And if after a few months she discovered that in reality it was a robot-AI, and not real NDS, would she still love this AI version and not real NDS from before?
It's cute how after the fight HJP was disinterested in what NDS wanted to say, but then when NDS uttered "halmeoni...", HJP in 0,1 sec turned his head to look at NDS shshsh and even asked him to tell him already what it is about! Reminded me when grandma went to his office the first time and when HJP realised it was her and sprinted outside his office to meet her hhh, and also when he saw her during hackaton (when she was talking to the mom in the cafe), and again sprinted to go to her
Make HJP a woman (a het woman, not interested in SDM romantically AT ALL) and I'd still think NDS is immature, childish, unprofessional, a liar, a bit violent/some anger issues, a bit opportunistic and a crybaby. If he started like that but then gradually improved episode by episode, then I'll be good with him, but we're literally on episode 12 and he's still like this, and even became somewhat worse than he was initially.
HJP-halmeoni best scene, 10/10, highlight of the episode if not of the whole drama so far. I liked how she first kept calling him good boy, then HJP said he isn't a good boy (multiple times), and then when he started crying grandma called him "Ji pyeong-a" and held his face with her hands. Tears. AND then HJP hugs her?? Tears tears tears.
To be honest what would be so wrong about wanting to go because of the money and a job at one of the best companies…
Yep exactly, if he wanted to become successful and make a lot of money then that's a normal reason, there's nothing wrong with it (that's my dream too lmaoo). But he said it's not for money but because he didn't want "that jerk" to remember them as failures... I facepalmed really. Same btw, at first I liked Yongsan more bc he seemed the normal one out of the three of them, and disliked chulsan. And I agree, Chulsan redeemed himself a little bit this episode, i liked how he said "im sorry" when Dalmi and Saha were all sad in the office (after nds went to chase hjp).

He's got humor.
Sadly his screentime was cut due to noongil :( I miss him
I hope you can get the ticket before they're sold out uwu

And yes, she will definetely listen to that recording for 3 years :)))))))

I never commented before start-up so I didn't think it was that serious,,,
welp

I find it cute uwu
Have you heard suzy (and kang han na) calling him "Seon Ho oppa" in interviews? Cute

But okay ^_^
