I share your sentiments completely. I came onto this site to write a review that would have expressed the same…
Just read your comment. Thx for agreeing with my review. And yeah, you're totally right, she becomes another dull female lead submerging into a clichè

I laughed, when I read the list. You see, I came from J-dramas, and I am totally into Japanese culture (on an artistic and philosophical level, regarding my PhD)... but when I read the list, I had to admit to myself, that I feel the same about these points. However, I have never really thought "J-dramas are bad", I just happened to watch more K-dramas. There are some Japanese jewels out there (Pride, A litre of tears, Buzzer Beat...), but the average J-drama is just not as promising to be entertaining as K-dramas are. So - I don't "discriminate" any drama, no matter which Asian country they're from, I just watch and see whether I like it or not.

What is that in the preview for ep. 18? Is Ha Neul falling for someone else?

I wanted to watch this. But then I read about the memory loss in the main description. So, no, but no thanks.…
I watched it, and I liked it, but again, I found the memory loss lame, although it spanned here differently. As always, just when the happy ending could happen, the memory loss steps in and BAM you got whole bunch of new eisodes of misunderstandings etc. It was good, though, although very unrealistic in many ways (does nobody ever call the police? rape, kidnapping etc...) :)

I am torn between the ships, but when I think about it... it's more creepy for a brother, whom you lived with for about 8 years (since he was around the age of 12 or so) to be in love with to a point where a 20year-old dreams about marriage... (Obsession??). Then the age gap between around 22 and 38 is less unusual. From Geu Rin's perspective, I would certainly choose the CEO. Or would you rather fall in love what you consider a brother since the age of 14?...

I cannot decide what to ship... I think she would fit both guys! This is a loose-loose situation here T_T Already heartbroken for the brother though

At episode 12 and liking it a lot. It has a totally different vibe from Hana Yori Dango or To the beautiful You or Hana Kimi or whatever. It is very lighthearted and comical but at the same time much more down to earth. I think, the main part, why it did not get a higher ranking, is because the romance is not over the top. The characters are very endearing, though.

I just totally love this, no matter what everyone else says. I don't know exactly why but the relationships and weirdness of characters hits totally home for me. It's a personal matter, is my guess, although I don't know why. The only thing too "standard-drama" for me is the whole evil-boss-rich-guys-conspiracy or whatever (not a spoiler). Other than that, I am LOVING IT. Good for me :)

I am at episode 8 now. If this guy, after realizing she was innocent, doesn't BEG ON HIS ROTTEN KNEES for the rest of this drama for forgiveness for tormenting her, I am going to throw sth at the screen. Would be the most perversed love story in dramaland history!!!

This is good, but I hate the whole misunderstanding topic. It drags on and on and on

I really don't understand the nagging. The two first episodes were especially awesome for me, because they felt fresh and not so ready-made cliché drama-ish like what we are used to. I felt really moved (and I am usually a tough cookie) by the whole setting and the characters.Episodes 3 and 4 became more standardized which obviously disappointed me but pleased others. Now its the usual cut and pace, too bad. I really love the acting, but Hyeri. I mean, I like this actress a lot, that's why I forgive her, but she has only two or three faces (and 1- her mouth hangs open a lot, 2 - her eyelids-surgery made her eyes very stiff and unnatural). Right now, this is my favourite airing drama, despite what others say.

I'm actually contemplating whether to watch this drama or not. I'm a big fan of Japanese drama, only and only…
In many ways this is very refreshing, but at the same time one of the cheeziest dramas I have seen. It is a total chick-flic, so much is for sure. The best about it, is the humour of the interactions, really. Try the first 3 episodes, if you don't like them, then leave it at that
