It was good. A cute family is what you make it story. The plot was good but I guess because I read the manga it didn’t quite live up to my expectations.
Definitely one of my all time favourites! The only thing I wanted was more resolution for the secondary characters. Side note the OST for this was spot on. As someone who watches with subtitles I can get distracted by the soundtrack if I find it doesn’t “fit” the show and I end up having trouble concentrating on the subtitles because I’m so busy thinking about how the OST is ruining my immersion in the series.
I’m so glad Netflix popped this up on my recommended. It’s a beautiful story. It’s very emotional so have your tissues ready, you will not be disappointed with this drama. The healing journey of the characters was very authentic and the cast was spectacular. Sure there were a couple unnecessary plot dramas but hey what’s a kdrama without them lol. Easily became one of my favourites.
No, he dies too. But honestly I think if he lived it would have at least made the series a “sometimes bad guys win and that’s just how it is” story. Like make the bad guy the main character, I think that could have saved the series for me. To me the bad guy dying as well as all the good guys just feels like no resolution to the story, it just ends.
Yes romance, and yes they die. Everyone dies. The main characters, the side characters, everyone. The romance between the two makes the ending that much sadder.
I love this! I really recommend it. It’s happy, funny, and the latter half gets good romance. A lot of people complain that the FL is annoying and attention seeking, but she didn’t come across that way to me. She was determined and sincere, in my opinion. I think if the drama was any longer it could have crossed that line to annoying but it’s actually paced quite well and the FL chasing ML doesn’t go on and on and on. The ML gives enough hints to justify the pursuit, combined with the ML back story gives me patience to see it through and see her pursuit as heartwarming. The acting of the main couple as well the support cast is really good and the relationships are believable. To me the side characters are always important and I hate series where they’re just filler. But I enjoyed the whole cast here.
I’m really confused about the point of this drama. The first half or so had so much potential then it’s like the show said fuck it I don’t know what to do let’s kill EVERY SINGLE PERSON. Seriously. I just feel like why did I watch that.
So amazing. One of the best dramas I have ever seen. I was hesitant at first because I’m not into the horror aspect but the storyline and mystery drew me in. You’d think a possession storyline would be kind of basic but they did an excellent job with the story making it interesting enough to not be repetitive. What makes this drama one of the best I’ve seen though is the cinematography. It helps the story so much, it’s truly amazing. The cast was excellent, the relationship between the main three developed quite naturally and felt real. The main story concludes well but leaves that one loose end that makes me hope for a season two even though this is a few years old now. Please please please another season. Solid 9.9/10. Must watch.
I had high hopes. The fist 7ish episodes were great and then it got very slow. The plot devices used to keep the couple from finding their HEA just wouldn’t end, and the couple themselves didn’t seem committed enough to each other to work things out together. She kept making her own decisions hurting him then his solution is just leave all the problems behind and run away. And the ending sucked. Sure they ended up together but I feel like nothing was resolved. It didn’t feel like an end, they could have just kept going with more episodes using the argue-reconcile-don’t communicate-family drama over and over. Also I loathe time skips in series. It was good, it just could have been great.
