Glad I finally watched this. It’s a good drama with good story. From family to career to love it hits all with a comprehensive complete storyline. There was only one part I disliked...
It was a cute watch. Too short to do the story justice though. It was a good story that could have been reallygood with more time but I still recommend
Was pretty good. Some of the comedy bits were a bit cringe but overall i enjoyed it. I was disappointed by the plot twist but I think only because it was that character. I didn't always feel the chemistry between the leads but the cast as a whole was so good together. The pace is slow and 18 was too many episodes but I am impatient and watch a lot of shows with a finger on the skip forward button so that made it better!
I just got to the big twist at the end of ep 15 😭 im so sad they made Kwon Soo Hyun a bad guy i just finished Abyss too and i really wanted him to be good in this. I need to watch a series he's good in now because he's quite talented and i enjoy his character portrayals.
Honestly I’m so here for the comments 😂 I feel like as BL watchers we say a lot of the same things about a lot of shows but go back for more anyway because we can’t stop watching and the train wreck commentary is addicting and fun 😂. Probably why I’ve only ever dropped one show… I always watch to the end no matter how bad it is.
What in the???? I really liked it through episode 6… eps 7 and 8 train wrecked the series. I knew the comments were bad but they were also bad for part 1 and I liked it. I liked the first 6 episodes the lead pair story progressed again in a G rated sweet way but it wasn’t bad. There was just no resolution to anything after episode 6. The makeup scene between Valen/Kaitoon was so underwhelming. The 2nd pair of King/Pete no resolution. The unnecessary added characters of June/Bill no resolution. Include unnecessary third wheels they threw at these pairs and they got nothing either. And Non!! I felt so bad for his character, it was hard to watch. Even the I have a crush on my boss Max and Nisa… Nothing!!! And as a Jeff Satur fan I was so disappointed; all of a sudden surprise twist on his character felt so weird, like out of no where, almost like they did it just so he could have scenes. They didn’t know how to resolve the King/Pete so hey throw Sean in there on top of Ice and the lies. There’s no way that was planned/scripted in advance right? All in all best part of the series was the soundtrack. Eps 1-6, 8/10; eps 6-7, 4/10.
I like it 🤷🏻♀️ I wasn’t expecting much based on the comments but I enjoyed it. It’s pretty G rated, if steamy BL scenes are what someone is looking for this isn’t it, but it was a cute story. I liked the end of the first part it felt almost wholesome and made my heart happy. Have to see what part 2 brings!
It was ok. Could have been better. I disliked the character of So and that made it hard to watch. It felt like his characters decisions were a device to prolong the series and it made it drag out too much. It would have been a better fit for Mon to end up with Saint IMO.
Well that was a wreck. After the first few episodes it just unravels into nothing by the end. It’s like they let most storylines drop off with no resolution, including the main characters story. And what in the world was that last episode???? They tried to wrap everything up and failed miserably. It was so hard to finish this series but I hate dropping shows I can never give up hope that it’ll turn out well. So my advice is don’t start, the first few episodes make you think that the storylines have potential then it’s just a constant disappointment. I don’t think I’ve ever rated a show so low.
I really enjoyed this. It didn’t have the best ending for my taste, I felt like things could have come together a bit more, but still a great watch. Extra bonus points because I love musicals!
I started watching this originally because I wanted to see another Lee Soo Hyuk drama but it quickly became one of my favourites of all time. This is such a good watch and the cast did an amazing job, from mains to one episode characters everyone did such a good job. The only thing I would have liked more was for Park Joong Gil to be more involved in the episode to episode storyline instead of just the sub plot with Goo Ryun. Even when I didn’t really like the character he was amazing to watch. It needs a season 2 ASAP.
Cute…but don’t expect a lot. Plot holes, superfluous characters, and drama for drama sake. I was disappointed by the lack of emotion I got from this series.
I enjoyed this. But there's a big but along with that. The manhwa this is based off of is one of my favourites, it was so well done, and had so much to offer as a series that the Viki Original short format did not come even close to doing it justice. If I hadn't read the manhwa I would have enjoyed this more, as I just kept hoping for more depth than what the series had time to give. Adapting a manhwa that spans a few years and has deep side character development where those side characters are heavily intertwined with the main couple is very hard to do in 8 short episodes. It left me wanting more, a lot more, and a hope that this gets made into something longer and better. And I'm going to go read the manhwa again. But I still gave it a 9 because it's Cherry Blossoms After Winter!
think only because it was that character. I didn't always feel the chemistry between the leads but the cast as a whole was so good together. The pace is slow and 18 was too many episodes but I am impatient and watch a lot of shows with a finger on the skip forward button so that made it better!
