I was pretty shocked by the ridiculousness of that thread! I mean, I know the majority of drama watchers are probably at least a little superficial, at least I know I can be when it comes to dramas! But to see people completely dismiss the idea of dating someone shorter or taller than themselves makes me sad. Your comment about the clipboard made me laugh! I can imagine someone doing that!! And then being miserable for the rest of their lives cause the person they fell "in love" with isn't going to look the same forever!
Anyway, I just keep on babbling :p the drama with the girl giving the finger is Queen In Hyun's Man! If you haven't seen it yet, you absolutely have to!!! It's soooooooo good! Best romance story ever :) the gif set about that one is also from the same drama, so is the last quote on the list :)

That's OK! We have a ton of options we can all be excited about to choose from :p I just saw the article on the front page about it! I can't believe it! I had been planning on using it more for jdramas, but now I guess I will have to find somewhere else! Hopefully like the article suggested, it's just a joke!

Hey chickadee! Have you seen this yet? It's six episodes long and each episode is only 10 minutes. Maybe we can watch it during one of our movie nights!

I'm being totally random, I know, but I was so happy to read your comment in the height thread! I can't believe some people's comments about height as if it were some kind of deal breaker :( Anyway, just wanted to let you know you totally cheered me up after reading all those depressing comments :p

I am in the middle of I Hear Your Voice! I broke my rule about not watching airing shows, and it is soooooooo good! I bet you could watch it live while you're over there ;p Good way to test your Korean! I haven't decided what I want to start now that I finished Nine and Nail Shop! Nothing is jumping out at me!

I am next to nearly positive that I should be free Saturday night for a movie night :) I can't think of anything that we would be doing that night. It's a holiday weekend, so we try to stay home and not deal with crowds. Any ideas on what to watch? I know we had mentioned the Man From Nowhere before, and it has been staring at me from Netflix for weeks now! But I am game for anything :)
I usually have the same rule! I started it by total accident. I was trying to figure out how to airplay dramafever to my mom's Apple TV, and I just clicked on the first thing that came up in the list. I watched like 2 minutes of it and it was enough to completely hook me!

Haha, I highly doubt that I will even be able to hold off for one day on the episodes, much less til the 25th :p Especially since I will be in Oregon that week, and would have to wait til August to actually watch them. No way will I last :p
I had been considering Fabulous Boys, but the fate of Taiwanese shows and subbing is always so up in the air. That's irritating that she is even more timid than Park Shin Hye, I wouldn't have guessed that was possible :p
It's hard to find words for how I feel about Nail Shop! It was just so bad, but yet every Friday, I was dying for them to upload the episode to see what would happen. Thank god, it was only 10 episodes. It might be worth the watch if you do a lot of skimming! Kay was seriously hot, he might be worth watching :p
146 episodes!! MAN. I know logically that's not a lot. I mean, most American shows I watch have way more than that that I have seen. But when you factor in that it's a drama, and done in the space of a few weeks instead of over years like American dramas, it sounds so intense!!
I am free any night this week after 7pm. This weekend should be pretty open for me, too I think!

I will definitely let you know whenever I get back to it :) I am having a hard time trying to decide what I want to watch right now! I made the stupid mistake of starting I Hear Your Voice before it finished aired, and OH MY GOD it's SOOOOOOO GOOD. Waiting is a pain, but man is it ever worth it!!

Uh-oh, I hate one-sided relationships! I might put it off for a while :p
I will admit, it did bug me a little bit about him being married. In fact, if I had known before I started it that he was going to be getting married, I probably wouldn't have started it! But honestly, the further you get along, the less you care about the woman he was married to. It does cause drama farther down the line, but you end up realizing it was a marriage of convenience, not of love! Doesn't make OK, but does make it at least a little better :p
Yay for vacation time!

INR2 is good, but it is sad! 99.9% of the story is based on the love triangle, and both guys are such good, good guys it's heartbreaking seeing someone get hurt all of the time!

Awww, that is such a bummer you didn't like All About My Romance! I have been really curious about it. I started the beginning of the first episode, but I didn't really like the main guy all that much.
What is it about Haeundae Lovers you aren't liking? It took my ages before I decided that I liked it. I think about the time that Nam Hae loses his memory is when I started falling in love with him and So Ra!
Yay for only one more week left at the shop! After that does it mean back to school, or just vacation?

Oh, that's right, it's summer for you now! That stinks you have to spend so much time working at your dad's store. What were the other dramas that you finished? I swear, you didn't do anything wrong :) We all just kind of got busy and distracted. But seriously, we should regroup soon :) I've missed our movie nights!

Yes, they had such good chemistry!! I hated Ji Hyun at the beginning, but the longer she was at the vineyard, the more I loved her. No, I haven't seen I Do, I Do yet! I had a friend who didn't like it all that much, so I wasn't sure if I wanted to watch it or not. Are you liking it?

IHYV is similar to Missing You in a lot of ways, but to this point, IHYV is not as bleak as Missing You was. There is a lot more levity, something MY lacked most of the time. But the last 2 episodes have been intense and MY melodramatic. I am really curious to see where they take it from here! Of course, I am trying to convince myself to forget about this drama for the next month so I don't have to torture myself, but I think I will fail miserably at that :p
I finished Nine today, and while the ending was mostly satisfying, I wouldn't be in any rush to put it under your belt. It's not bad, it's just not what I was expecting. And the ending was way too open to interpretation. I also finished Nail Shop Paris and it was garbage. OK, I go back and forth about calling it garbage and thinking it's not so bad. Today happens to be a garbage day :p But either way, it's definitely not worth the effort!
60 episodes, WOW! That is such a commitment! Especially if you are already 40 episodes in. I can't imagine how much heartbreak a sageuk could deliver in that many episodes. My guess is a whole heck of a lot! Will this be your longest drama once you finish it?
I kept having to take a break in Nine for the same reason you're breaking in Dong Yi! There was just so much angst and drama for the leads, I had to stop and do something else in order to mentally prepare for more heartbreak!

I love The Vineyard Man! Wasn't Taek Gi such an awesome character! I love how much he loved Ji Hyun and how humble he was. But poor Kim Ji Suk, will he never have a role where he gets the girl!? I just finished Nail Shop Paris and Nine Times Time Travel. Nail Shop was not good, but Nine really was!

I just finished Nine Times Time Travel! I think over all it was really good! I would have liked a more concrete ending, I think, but all in all it was a well-paced, interesting drama :) And seriously has me in love with Lee Jin Wook. I liked him in I Need Romance season 2, but he really shined in this drama! I am avidly looking forward to his next work, and considering delving back into his past dramas :p
