I think that's how we know we are truly addicted :p

I wish that I could say that I am forcing myself to watch it, it would make me feel better about my taste :p But for some reason, every Friday rolls around, and I find myself inexorably drawn to it!

I'm watching Nine Times Time Travel, and it's really good so far! And then Nail Shop Paris, which is absolutely awful, but I can't stop watching it :p

I can't remember offhand which historical has the guy from Dream High in it, but that's totally the one I want to start first! I loved him so much in DH, and he hasn't been in much else! Is the girl from Missing You in TMTETS? I didn't realize that!
I am waiting on Minoz to get back from Los Angeles before I continue on with 9 Times. I always mess it up, too! I don't think I am going to have any time for dramas this week, though anyway! Shawn's birthday is today, and then tomorrow I have a big paper I need to get done, and then Thursday I am heading home for a week!
Yay for Chris getting back soon! It's good that he won't be gone much longer! And thank god for Skype :p Every time I go stay back home, Shawn and I Skype all of the time. Though, I think it has more to do with him wanting to see the dog than me :p I'm only partially kidding! :p

When I got onto MDL yesterday and saw that, I immediately thought of you! I didn't realize it was actually one of the dramas you mentioned! That's so funny, someone here is totally stalking you :p

I grew up with Arthur. My brothers and cousins are all fantasy nerds, so we had Sword in the Stone, that ridiculous Sam Neill Merlin miniseries, the Marion Zimmer Bradley Avalon books and subsequent miniseries. I think the only author I ever truly enjoyed reading Arthurian Legend from was Vera Chapman. Her stories were always such a delight :)
I always thought she looked kind of funny, it wasn't until MGIAG that I started to see her as pretty. She played Mi Ho so incredibly well, her child-like innocence is impossible to not love!

Haha, I don't think you need excuses for actually living your life! It must be nice having more freedom than you did before! I am glad that you got your cast off and it is healing nicely :) It stinks that the boyfriend left you for home, but I am sure it will be great when he gets back! How long will he be gone? My brother is doing a lot better now, and he got a new job with my older brother, so they are all sorts of happy :p
I am soooooooooo glad you watched Princess Man and The Moon The Embraces The Sun!! I have been wanting to know what the level of sadness is for those shows, but haven't wanted to look it up and ruin it for myself! Are they heart-wrenchingly sad, or do they end on a positive note? I know what you mean about understanding all of the choices and being OK with the sad endings, but I am so not that mature :p
Color me absolutely shocked about the Chinese historicals, though! If you had asked me before if I ever thought either of us would watch those, I'd have answered with a hearty hell no! It's good that you can get into them though, that completely opens up a huge realm of new dramas you can watch! I had flipped through a Chinese Historical a few months back, and it looked good, but like you said, I couldn't get over all of the bald guys!

It really stinks to have more than one obsession as they are constantly vying for your attention, and there are only so many hours in a day! I love fantasy novels, Piers Anthony, Terry Goodkind, George RR Martin and the like. I also read quite a bit of romance and young adult books. Arthurian Legend is one area I stay far, far away from! I don't know why, I have just hated it since I was a child! I read more for mindless pleasure than anything else, so I can't say that my collection is too varied :p
My Girlfriend is a Gumiho is great! I was just rewatching some of my favorite parts the other night. I am not a huge No Min Woo fan, but I did like him in this one. I hated Shin Min Ah til I watched this drama, and it totally made me fall in love with her!

Hahahaha, any time someone asks me for a recommendation, I usually pull up both our lists and compare what we've seen and what we've liked and make my suggestions from there. But you have watched everything on my list, except for Love Rain and The Vineyard Man! I'd imagine with as well known as Love Rain is, you have your reasons for not having it on your PTW list, but I do see Vineyard Man on there!
VM was one of those dramas that surprised me with how much I loved it. Yoon Eun Hye was sooo ridiculously annoying in the beginning of it, I dropped it three times before I could finally get through the first episode. But once she gets to the vineyard and grows up some, the show becomes addictive! It's incredible how much your perspective can change while watching it.
Oh Man Suk, the lead guy, is not a classically handsome guy, nor the highly lauded flower-boy type, but the character he plays makes you realize how beautiful someone can be once you take a deeper look. It creeps up on you, but halfway through you realize you would trade all of the flower boys in the world for a guy like Taek Gi! The show does have some angst, but for the most part it's a fun ride, watching the two butt heads constantly and trying to figure out how to be civil to each other. I really, really recommend it to anyone who likes romantic, fluffy dramas. Just remember, YEH's character progressively gets less and less annoying the longer she stays in the vineyard.

My friend has been recommending All About My Romance since day one, I need to just start it already! I remember telling my friend that Kay was in Ramyun Shop, and neither of us could remember him at all! Seriously though, it should be illegal to look that good! Though, I can't say I like him as much post-makeover in Nail Shop. I don't know what it is that I don't like, but he was definitely hotter before the hair change.

You summed up my feelings perfectly!! This show took on too much! It tried to be a gender bender/romance/mystery/comedy/paranormal show set in a nail shop, and that's just too many hats for any show to wear! I think if they had nixed the paranormal aspect, it would have been a lot easier to swallow!!
I have actually been in an awful drama rut for the past month! I did start Nine Times Time Travel, and so far it's really good! I am waiting on my friend Minoz to get back and catch up so we can watch it together! I'm considering starting The new flower boy dating agency show! How about you? Watch anything great lately?

It is just the weirdest show!! I want to just stop watching it, but I'm too sucked in to what is going to happen every episode! I don't think I've ever had a drama that I've hated so much, yet can't seem to stop watching :p it's nice to know the feeling is mutual!!

I just saw your Nail Shop Paris episode 7 review, and I am so glad I'm not alone in hating Alex for letting that woman walk out the door without telling her he suspected something serious! Regardless of whether he is a doctor or not, how do you let someone walk out the door without even addressing your concerns?!? It was so irritating, I just needed to vent :p

Yay, I can't wait!! Finally found something to watch with you, makes me so happy :) have fun in LA girly! Hit me up when you get back into town :)
I think what is great about this article is the discourse it opened up! I don't think there has been an article…
That's why I stopped writing for the page, I don't handle criticism well! And also why I try not to read any comments if they start out sounding negative, cause I knew I would just get mad for you! No article will ever be perfect, and for the most part people tried to word their criticism kindly. But every once in a while you get a jerk that just ruins it! I think this was absolutely great for a first article, keep up the good work :)
