Oh, my god I completely forgot about Bridal Mask! I don't know how that even happened, I had been so excited about it! I saw that AAMR was finishing this week and it went right out my head! If I start anything this weekend, it will definitely be Bridal Mask! Though, right now I somehow ended up watching Speed (a la Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock) and now I have started Independence Day! I guess I'm on a 90s kick :p

I've watched a couple episodes of Running Man, but I never really understood what was going. Probably because I tend to fast forward a lot during reality shows :p That is such a bummer that they want you to keep the cast on another week! But at least it sounds like it should only be this last week, and better safe than sorry! Though, I wouldn't put it past them to try and drain you for every dime they can get!

Greg is doing pretty good! He actually got a lady at his doctor's office fired, though, so he is a bit upset about that. She had prescribed him the wrong medicine. Apparently she put another patient's prescription in his name, and Greg's prescriptions in that man's name. His medicine was making him really sick, so when he went to the doctor about it, he realized what she did and fired her! I didn't even know Nurse Practitioner's could write prescriptions! But after he finally got all of that sorted out, it's really starting to help him! Plus, they changed his sutures. He was having an allergic reaction to what they had put in, and they changed them so they would stop swelling. Probably TMI, I'm sure :p

Did you know Hyun Bin sang a song in Secret Garden? I never realized it was him singing my favorite song from the show!! How are you liking MNIKSS? I need to start it already! My nana just left town this morning, so hopefully tonight I can give it a shot :)

It finally ended this morning! It has been such a hectic 7 days, I'm so glad it's over! I've missed you :) what is going on with you? Any great dramas since the last time we talked? How's the foot? I've been watching so much American tv and movies the past couple of days, but I am considering starting All about My Romance tomorrow!

Anyone else think he kind of looked like the guy who played the bad guy in King2Hearts? Especially in School 2013, they really looked similar!

You're killing me with AAMR!! I have been desperate for another Hauendae Lovers! HL might not be the best, but it is so fluffy and fun and romantic, I have never been able to find anything similar! Now I soooooooo need AAMR!!! It will be over next Friday, so not too much longer til I can start it ;) It has the fiance girl from Boys Over Flowers, right? That is incredible, if it's replacing You're Beautiful! No, I haven't seen My Name is Kim Sam Soon, my friend Holly has been begging me to watch it. We can start that, if you want! City Hall is another one that has been on my list that looks pretty light, and it has Dokko from The Greatest Love in it!

Yes, his surgery went well! He is having a hard time now though, none of the pain meds are working, and he can't sleep :( I took him out yesterday to get food and buy some dvds for him to watch while he was recuperating, and it was just miserable. I couldn't drive more than 20 MPH, because the vibration of the car hurt. I couldn't take turns at more than 5MPH, cause that hurt. Every other car on the road was wishing for our death, I'm sure :p But other than that, he seems to be doing great!

Are you still in Bridal Mask mode? I'm worried about starting it much later cause you said you want to rewatch it with me, and I hate to drag you back under if you have finally broken free of it's hold :p You remind me so much of my love of Missing You! I watched it 4 times through before I could move on. And even now, just saying the title is enough to make me want to rewatch!

I was too chicken to start Bridal Mask after your warning yesterday :p My grandma is very sensitive, so I thought it was better safe than sorry. But guess what! I am utterly shocked, but yesterday I turned on Lie To Me while she was reading and I wanted something on while I painted my nails. I watch about half an episode, and then decided to go get in the shower, so I grabbed the remote to turn it off and my grandma yelled at me! She said she was watching it and to leave it on! I thought, well she must just want to finish this episode. When I get out of the shower, she is still so engrossed, but I ask her if she was ready for bed (my nana does not stay up past 8pm, EVER) and she said no, she wanted to finish it. It was 11 pm before she asked me to come turn it off so she could go to bed, and told me she absolutely had to finish it before she leaves for Utopia! MIND = BLOWN!!! I mean, I get how addictive they are obviously, but it is just so strange that she would get so into it! I had started it at episode 11, just because that was where I had left off the last time I had rewatched it.

I am hesitant about recommending Love Rain, just because I can't tell if it is one of those times where I love awful things. Like with KPOP TUA, empirically, I understand that it's an awful show. The dialogue, the acting, the plot, it's all trite, bordering on ridiculous. But I still love it! I worry that my love of Love Rain is similar :p

I might try to start the first episode of Bridal Mask tonight! My parents are leaving tonight, so it will just be the Nana and me. She usually doesn't mind the Korean stuff, she is good at ignoring things :p My mom can't stand it though! I will shoot you a comment if I am able to start it :) I'm really excited about it!

Love Rain is....hard to describe! There is a lot I would change and that I did find a little annoying. But there really is just so much romance in it, it's hard not to love the characters. It actually isn't about parents not approving, it's about JGS's character not approving of his dad and Ha Na's mom! I don't think this is too spoilery, since obviously they can't be brother and sister otherwise it would be pretty disgusting, but something comes between the older couple and JGS's dad ends up thinking that Ha Na's mom is dead. He winds up marrying Ha Na's mom's best friend (this is getting confusing, even to me :p ) but he never lets go of Ha Na's mom. He ends up divorcing JGS's mom when he was younger, and JGS never forgave him for it. So when he discovers he and Ha Na's mom are together he says he won't date Ha Na because he doesn't want to break his mother's heart. It gets pretty irritating, mostly because his mom is kind of a bitch and you feel zero sympathy for her ever! And Ha Na is so sweet, it's ridiculous. Maybe if it weren't JGS, I wouldn't have loved it so much, I can't tell!

I am shocked to hear that he isn't well liked in Korea!! He is easily in my top 5 favorite actors, I love him!! Hopefully his next drama isn't a historical drama. So many of my favorite actors did historical dramas this year, it breaks my heart! Oh, speaking of, did you ever watch Iljimae? How did it go?

That is such a bummer about WW :( I LOVED Song Hye Kyo in Full House, but I haven't been able to find another drama with her in it that I can fall in love with. I wanted to watch That Winter, but it seems sooooo sad! And I heard the ending is vague, and I hate vague endings!!

I swear, you have me dying for All About My Romance! It's almost finished though, right? I can't wait!!!

Hahaha, I love you LD, and I would watch almost anything you guys wanted to watch, but I can't watch that movie again! It was one of my first experiences with Korean Cinema almost a decade ago, and it STILL haunts me! It's a really messed up movie! There is a scene with the girls in bed that no matter how many years have past, manages to sneak into my nightmares every once in a while. It's a really freaky movie! My brother is a volleyball player, and he messed his shoulder up during a game, and they had to go in and fix it! He went through the surgery just fine yesterday and it seems like he is going to make a full recovery :) Thanks for your concern, though :)

I probably didn't tell you, just cause it was all kind of sudden! He wasn't going to do it, and then decided he couldn't keep playing with his shoulder hurting so much and kept the appt to have it operated on! Thanks, I am definitely trying to stay strong, it was so hard to get out of bed this morning to come to work. If I didn't intentionally leave my phone on the other side of the room so I would have to get up if I wanted to call in, I probably would have! But once I got up to get it, it seemed easier to just get up and go to work :p

I love how much you love Bridal Mask! It gives me great hope for it :) I know how that feels to not be able to leave a world you love so much! It physically hurts to part with these characters that we love so much. It's like they're real people and leaving them is an ache sometimes. I swear, I'm not crazy :p

JGS plays pretty much the exact same character in Love Rain as You're Beautiful, except he is way more open and honest about his feelings for the lead girl. He actively pursues her in the beginning. Well, the beginning of the present day stuff. I started the first episode and just could not get into the past stuff, so I just recapped the first 4 or 5 episodes and started with the present day stuff.

I have been crazy busy, too! The end of semesters are always the worst! My older brother graduated college yesterday, and my younger brother is having surgery today (which also happens to be the older brother's birthday). So my whole family has been in town, and I haven't been able to watch anything at all! I was having trouble getting into Worlds Within, too! I think it's just not for us ;( We are having the worst luck with dramas lately :( I am sure I will love All About My Romance though!! When will your semester be over officially? I miss you :)

Man, I am so exhausted, and it's only Monday! The parents and the Nana got in yesterday, it's going to be a long week :p It's my older brother's graduation today, his birthday tomorrow, and the younger brother's surgery on Wednesday. Busy, busy bee :p

I am so glad to hear that you are healing according to plan and that you might be getting the cast off soon! I'm sure it has been an itchy nightmare! I am also happy to hear you had such a good time with your roommates family! It's always nice when everyone can get along! Especially since you are pretty much stuck in the apartment with your leg, not like you can escape easily :p

I will make my best effort to put myself in the heroine's shoes in Bridal Mask! Is it a period piece? I don't know why I keep thinking it is set in the 20s, but that's what I have in my head! I haven't watched anything new in days! I did rewatch my favorite parts of You're Beautiful, which made me want more Jang Geun Suk, so I rewatched Love Rain! Have there been any rumors about what his 2013 drama is going to be? I need more JGS in my life :p

Haha, it's so funny when I got on earlier to MDL it was to tell you guys that I couldn't make it tonight! Then I saw Akumi couldn't make it so I felt better :p I love that all three of us had to bow out! We can definitely reschedule! Hope you have a great Mother's Day with your mom and that this week goes better for you!

Haha, now that is some seriously high praise for Bridal Mask! In fact, that's the probably the most serious recommendation I've received. You have me sold! It will be my next watch after City Hall! I'm guess the lead guy is more likable than he was in Level 7. I almost wish I hadn't watched L7 so that I wasn't going into hating him! Hopefully City Hall and or Bridal Mask can pull me out of this slump for good! I read two books yesterday and started another one this morning, cause just not in a kdrama mood :(

I have gotten zero kdrama watching in the past couple of days! I did manage to finish episode 2 of City Hall, and I am considering recapping the next two episodes. I am just not sold on the lead girl yet!

Sometimes it's nice to have characters that are so emotionally screwed up that they make you feel better about your own shortcomings :p That's what it sounds like with the lead from BVS, anyway! I will make sure and stick it out til episode 5 at least in City Hall then! I trust you :) The lead guy is really quiet so far, and the lead girl is just ridiculous, but I love it. When he asks her about whether the mayor is available, and she starts laughing to her friend about how he must be in love because he didn't have to just chat her up, I nearly died! It's nice to see a lead character who is slightly full of herself instead of always wondering why anyone finds her attractive!! Though, I don't really find the lead girl very attractive. I am hoping that the hair change in a few episodes will help that!

I think Friday might work best for me! My older brother is graduation from UTSA this weekend, and I will have a ton of family in town to entertain. But I don't think my mom is going to get here til Saturday!

So, BVS has bromance and romance? I'm so game!

Maybe this Friday we can get together for a movie night, and I will show y'all a picture then :) The scabs hurt, but it feels better when I put the ointment they gave me for it. But it makes my eyes look so greasy, I can't wear it at work!

I know exactly what you mean! We are all prone to spoiling things for ourselves, and it's the mark of a good drama if reading a spoiler just makes you that much more excited for the journey :) I only watched the first episode of City Hall, but it has me hooked enough to try episode 2 tonight! If it doesn't go well, I think I'll start Time Between Dog and Wolf. I am really curious about what the lead does that makes her so stupid. Is it on the same level that the lead girl in Level 7 was stupid? The more I thought about whether or not I ever hated a lead girl, that is the drama that kept popping into my mind. I wouldn't have shed a single tear if her or the lead guy had died!! Or really any of the characters, except for the two trainers!!

OK, you SERIOUSLY have me excited for Bachelor's Vegetable Store! The synopsis always sounds so blah, I never was even tempted to start it! I hate it when there are bad summaries that don't pique your interest or are just plain wrong! You end up missing out on some potentially great dramas that way!! I need a good romance right now! Maybe if City Hall doesn't work out, I will start Bachelor instead of Time Before!!! A good romance sounds brilliant to me :p

Little-Dream has seen a lot more movies than Akumi and I so we always check with her first about movies. I will ask her about Always! I think that's why I am always so hesitant about Korean movies, they always seem to end so badly!! I'm glad you didn't discover dramas when you were in school either! It's no fun trying to juggle everything :p
