Minoz!!! So, I totally don't want to jinx it by talking about it, but I think I have found a drama that is going to keep me hooked til the end! I started Nine Times Time Travel and watched four whole episodes in one sitting last night! I haven't done that in over a month! Anyway, it's really, really good! Is it on your list, or have you watched it already?

Just starting this drama, I love how in the first episode they have a Queen In Hyun's Man Easter egg with the manager guy's ringtone :) it's my current ringtone on my own phone, so I was searching for it before I realized it was the tv!

This drama is ridiculously bad. The storyline is so out of left field, I never know what absurd thing will happen…
Yes!! I find myself asking "why are you watching this?" at least 4 times an episode. And yet, here I am dying for next week's episode after Friday's cliffhanger.

This drama is ridiculously bad. The storyline is so out of left field, I never know what absurd thing will happen next. That being said, for some reason I can't stop watching it! Every week, I think I'll drop it, and every week I find myself drawn to it. To me, that means they must be doing something right, even if I can't figure out what that is :p

Nail Shop Paris is airing right now. It's just so weird! It's a gender bender, with a girl pretending to be a boy so she can get the inside scoop on one of the male workers for a book she is writing. Then they toss in abusive husbands, ghosts, crazy step mothers and supernatural occurrences, and you wonder why you keep watching! Then you see Alex or Kay's face and you remember why :p

Just lots of familial and relationship drama! And school, so much school! Nothing I can't handle, I am just ready for a good long break from life and responsibility :p I am glad your course is over, that sounds like a monster class to take! Do you have any trips coming up for work?

Yes, I am doing pretty good, all things considered :) I want to watch AAMR, and Nine, and Bridal Mask, and so many other things. But every time I turn one on, I just can't get into anything. The thought process is that with a break, maybe it will all feel new again :p I have been keeping up with Nail Shop Paris, though. It's not good. At all. But I can't stop watching it! I have heard some bad things about I Do, I Do, but not from anyone I trust! My friend Akumi said it was decent, and I trust her, so I say go for it!

Hi, chickadee! I am soo glad you loved My Name is Kim Sam Soon! I actually have been on a kdrama hiatus for the past week and a half. I am just not falling in love with anything, and I think I am putting too much pressure on myself, so I've decided to take a break from kdramas right now :( What's up for you now that you finished Kim Sam Soon?

i thought that this drama will get better ,so i waited the next episode but it does not make any sense at all…
Exactly! It's just all over the place. They should have just stuck with one idea and ran with it. The first three episodes are so ridiculous, and so tenuously tied to the actual description of the show. Though, to be fair, "drama with a woman posing as a man so she can write weird assassin story about him, while constantly on the look out for the gumiho who saved her and fighting ghostly crime at the nail shop with three hot men as they try and fix the mundane and supernatural problems of their clients" probably didn't go down so well at the PR meeting :p

I think the problem was, it had gotten too long in between completed dramas for me! The longer it took me to get into something, the more the pressure built to watch and love something! Your love of Bridal Mask and subsequent desire for me to watch it wasn't really part of it, though I was nervous to start it in this rut, just because I want to like it! Nail Shop Paris isn't really good necessarily. The two lead guys are ridiculously hot, so I am sticking with it :p Shallow of me, but I think if you watched the beginning and saw the scene where Alex disarms a guy with a knife, you'd probably be sucked in too :p I am surprisingly not kicking myself for starting it before it's finished airing, cause so far there is nothing that leaves me dying for more. Hopefully they don't change that, since they only air one episode a week!

That is some seriously shocking news!! I can't believe you started Arang! I'd have bet on me picking it back up again before you actually watching it! I could not get into it at all. I wanted to so much, but I just didn't like the pacing of the storyline, or the leads too much. It's funny you say that Shin Min Ah isn't bugging you in Arang, but bugged you in MGIAG. I was the opposite! She really grew on me in MGIAG, but in Arang she irritated me! How far along are you?

OK, so apparently just telling myself I was getting rid of the pressure was enough to make me start something. I ended up starting Nail Shop Paris, with the intention of just seeing how believable the lead actress looked as a girl and got sucked in. There are only 4 episodes so far, but it's such a weird show!! The description for the show leaves no clue at all that the show is going to be about Gumihos and ghosts and abusive husbands and that the nail guys act like amateur detectives. I swear, ever 5 minutes, I'm yelling at the tv how weird it all is! I'm still going with the whole no pressure to start anything thing and see where that takes me!

episode 4 is sub on dramafever i don't like dramafever they have adds and it gets on my nerves.
It's not so much bias as an issue with licensing contracts. I'm not sure what country you're in, but sometimes it's hard to get the rights to air something in a certain country, even over the internet. It happens in the US, but not typically on Dramafever. Also, Dramafever does have the option of no ads with a premium account. I canceled Netflix in favor of a DF account. If ads bug you so much, then you should switch to premium. The company has to earn money in order to stay afloat and continue to bring great subtitles to everyone. You just pick your poison, ads or monthly fee.

It's the weirdest show! They should have put in the description that it dealt with gumihos and ghosts! Totally not what I had anticipated at all.
On Nail Shop Paris May 22, 2013
This is just the weirdest drama! It is totally not what I had anticipated in any way, shape, or form. I can't tell if that's a good thing or not, yet. At this point Kay and Alex are hot enough that I'm reserving judgement. Though, every 5 minutes I find myself yelling at the tv how absurdly weird the storyline is, I think I'm sticking with it!

I've only seen What's Up on this list, and I was not a huge fan of it. It just wasn't my cup of tea. Of the few musical dramas I have seen, I think KPOP TUA has had my favorite songs in it. That song that they all get together and make a video for never fails to make me smile :)

I think it is probably a good thing that she isn't writing prescriptions anymore, either! she really could have done some serious damage. I know everyone makes mistakes, but when you have someone's well being in your hands, mistakes are not ok!

I haven't mentioned hot neighbor before? He is studying to be a doctor, and he is ridiculously hot! In a nerdy kind of way, but it's still awesome :) His fiance is Korean, so he makes Korean food all of the time and shares it with me, since he knows I am so obsessed with kdramas :p

Now for the sad part of my comment. I think I need to take a break from kdramas. The pressure I am putting on myself to actually like something is making it impossible to even want to start anything :( I'm gonna go the rest of this week without trying to make myself start something and see if after a couple of days of no pressure to start something I can get back into them! But keep me updated on what you are watching, please :)

Nana did not finish Lie To Me! It's my own fault :p She was cooking dinner so I had turned on King2Hearts to watch til she finished, but she came and sat down right at the part where Bong Gu has Jae Ha on the carousel and she wouldn't let me change it! Then she had to keep watching that one, instead :p She planned on finishing it the night before, but Hot Neighbor came over for dinner that night, and he didn't leave til 11 and that was way past her (and mine!) bedtime. Then she left in the morning, so she never did get to finish it! I told her when I come down next, I will bring the roku so she can finish it.

I am so glad your roommate is loving it! It gives me serious high hopes for it :) I need something that is going to make me fall in love with Kdramas again! I am terrified that I am getting tired of them, and I really, really, REALLY, don't want that to be true!!!
