He literally needs to be casted in a romance drama where he is the main male lead. Still can’t get over with his role in bof and his insane chemistry with kim so eun. And why is the korean drama industry sleeping on this man? He acts well and have the face card, he deserves more drama
the reason i watched this because i got hooked on ren min and ci sha’s chemistry in the rise of ning. And a manly male lead like ci sha is my kind of man male lead that will keep me watching the drama. Just a bit disappointed with the ending, i feel like they could have give us a much better happy ending since we have been dealing so much family and political issues while watching this drama, plus the slow born romance between the leads where we can only watch their love story by half of the story line. Despite that I like the slow born between them it creates more tension where it makes me yearn to see them falling in love, it just that they could have give them a better ending because the characters deserves it and from the start they have been dealing on so many issues till the very end lol
Give this man his own historical drama as the main male lead where the female lead will end up to her with the same character personality of his role in perfect match and splendid match. He suit those kind of character powerful and cunning but cute
I’ve been having a hard time figuring out the relationship between the current emperor, late emperor, mo jingli and mo xiu yao. Since, they are all a Mo then all of them are part of the royal family bloodline. It was mentioned that mo jingli is the son of the late crown prince, so the current emperor is his uncle and the late emperor is his grandfather, but how is mo xiu yao and his brother related to them? Someone says that mo xiu yao is also the son of the emperor so he is also the uncle of mo jingli, but that would not make sense since it was also mentioned that all of the late emperor sons or princes are killed so the queen dowager can put her son in the throne with no threats. There’s no way that the empress dowager will keep him alive and also he do not live in the palace, is he just a distant relative of the royal family? or his title was just granted to their family? Him and the emperor have a close bond, maybe they are cousins?
And what is the difference of ye li’s title as princess ding and her newly granted title “1st rank princess”?
Is there any issue why this drama took so long to be release? Is it because the censorship? I’ve been waiting for this after watching forbidden flower lol
Her friend jingjing is a confrontational person but can't do anything when she had to face consequences of her actions. Qian Fei even have to apologize on her behalf when she didn't even know that her friend will do such thing. I know she's concerned about Qian Fei, but come on making a scene when you know that both of you can be dragged down and make everything more complicated is such a stupid thing to do. They are just an employee but she wants to be against with the people who have a higher position in a company where they are Working in, lol. She literally just put more weight on her best friend's shoulder instead of helping her
I'm still in episode one and while watching I was shocked about the quality of the drama, This doesn't look like a high budget drama and to be starred by Joseph zheng who usually starred at high budget drama, am I missing something? Or the drama quality just doesn't suit my taste and different to what quality or plot I watched these days? Or I'm just watching too much angst that's why the color grading is different since this is a comedy and light drama? Maybe I'm just used to the color grading quality of The first jasmine as I'm currently watching it too.
Anyways, I just realized that tan jia ru is also here but as a supporting role, one of the reason why I was so shocked because he's a lead actor in veil of shadows along with Joseph. But this drama is entertaining plus with the fact that Joseph and jia ru is in another drama again after both of them broke my hearts in their previous drama this feels like a comfort and I'm enjoying to watch this, though I may not like the production quality but the actors acting skills keeps me watch this. And while being so stressed watching TFJ current episode because of the angst, this is so refreshing to watch
if the divorce will really happen i will not continue to watch this drama. The Fl didn’t deserve everything, she made his household alive again, fix what’s broken and help him stand again, now he leave her for his stupid reason?! He knows that ye li is unstable yet chose to hurt her even more.
I already watched this 4 years ago but every year i still rewatched this drama. This was so entertaining to me and I like the dynamic between the leads. I usually don’t like an office romance drama that even business proposal and what’s wrong with secretary kim got me bored, weird but this is one of the few where I like the office romance plot. Maybe because it didn’t just focus on office plot, there’s something more to their story and that’s where the story centered
This is one of my fav comfort drama, everything just felt mature and comforting. Yoon kye sang isn’t the usual unrealistic overly handsome kdrama boss, but he has a manly charisma here that suit his character as a ruthless and hot tempered boss. I just really like how everything developed between them and how mature everything. But i think it could’ve been more better if they didn’t add the childhood connection plot, they could’ve just let the leads feelings grow after being workers for 5 years. Though, I really love this drama and will still keep rewatching!
I like how they are acting like a real married couple now. They are each other's comfort and peace, though both of them are unstable (one is physically and one is mentally) they accept and understand each other. It's like "No one can understand me better than you do" kind of love and I really love it
i thought this is just a normal historical drama with political and family conflict, but i didn’t expect that this also contains a supernatural one lol, unless everything was just ye li’s trick to make them reveal the edict or what really happened before.
I noticed that the imaginary maid she always talks to, only appears when she feels lonely. The maid seems like her younger self, she created an imaginary friend that resembles her younger herself, the one who she can comfort and who can comfort her when they need someone. Because no one did that to her after losing her mother:(
why do i feel like ye li’s uncle is her biological father? He cares for her more than anyone in the ye family and the painting of a woman that was dropped on his box when they are moving his things could be ye li’s mom. It seems like her mom and her uncle had a past, but the mom married the other brother instead. So, he find a way to be with ye li to watch and protect her by still living in the same household with her.
Or he can also be a villain and have his own motive of revenge that’s why he wants to move on prince ding’s place. But one thing i’m sure of is fl mom and uncle had a past. (it’s already obvious when they are having a conversation about her mom and how her mom views her uncle)
The story is about the Grand Prince and Hwiju. The Korean title is "Wife of the 21st Century Prince".…
I know, lol. From the very start i know that the main plot is their love story, that's why I'm watching this drama. It was just my theory, cuz they obviously show that the young king is incapable of ruling and is not interested being a king, while they also show that i-an is capable
They describe the character of i-an as a grand prince, a spare who's good for nothing than having his royal title. But, watching it seems like he's not just a good for nothing prince, he's the regent and basically he's a king as the real king is too young to rule, the monarchy will not even stand if he's not there cuz the queen mother isn't in her right senses. He's much cooler than he was described before this drama was released, lol.
Also, I thought the queen mother will be the regent cuz she's the mom of the king and the late king's wife, like any other historical drama(especially cdrama) but they made i-an the regent, which suits him mosttt
I just don't expect that it will be all about ji ling, his misery, his loneliness and his love story by the near end. I love ji ling but so many characters was cast aside especially the main ones after they got out of the illusion
Episode 29 actually showed how the ending for each character and the couples was.Not sure if you only watched…
The ending was good as it shows the two couple being reunited. But by the near end few episodes were focused to one story. I love both the couple, but it makes me sad that they gave such a small screen time to the love story of wwy and wsg, when their story is also interesting
I expected more... Such an interesting start but it focuses on one character by the end. This drama could've done better as the story have so much potential
I have a two theory for the ending, it's either the young king will step down and let his uncle rule the country or the monarchy will abolish because of the messy politics inside the palace
And what is the difference of ye li’s title as princess ding and her newly granted title “1st rank princess”?
