I have a realization after trying to move on from this drama after it ended.(really had a hard time actually T_T)

It's the fact that XY and XL loved each other silently, but she didn't want to express and take it to heart deeply because it could've ruined everything(she's loyal to xuan, and her loyalty to him will always comes first). They are the soulmate and the one that got away of each other. And for XL he has the integrity and loyalty to his soldier(just like XY to CX), you can't blame him if he chose to die for them and that's what makes me love him more. (I will forever mourn his death lol)

And Cangxuan, my dear hot-handsome gege, xiaoyao actually always choose him and he's her first priority. Every decision, every battle, through ups and down she's there, she always understand him. Even when he makes such a dangerous and a bit of evil plan, she always tried her best to find a reason to understand and support him. I mean it's kinda obvious, because he's the main reason why XL and XY are too forbidden. She's always open minded and understandful about him, which is she can't do the same to jing(they always had the biggest misunderstanding lol) she didn't even try to fix the misunderstanding between her and Jing. So, for some point she chose cangxuan it's just that she can't give the love he wants, she can't choose him they way he wanted to be choose(romantic love). (gege is still lucky though)

Jing the main love interest, the one xiaoyao chose. He deserves it(yeah I accepted it now), I mean he's always there for her, and she's always the first priority, he will go wherever XY wants to go, he will give up everything for her. He's the best choice, and he's the only one who can give all the love to XY. He always fix the misunderstanding between them and proves that he's the best choice. XY is the reason why he always meddle in a messy world between XL and CX, cuz man wants to get XY. I mean his character is just all about for XY. And his RICH(YEAH PRIORITIES LADIES)

I don't know if I will say something to fenglong, because he doesn't actually have any major roles. But he's a loyal man of cangxuan and a buddy to xiaoyao. He's such a cute puppy for me<3

Yeah even after it ended, I always think of this drama and mourn my 9 headed demon's death:(( This will always be my best cdrama of all time

But literally, Xiangliu erases all of the memories of him to xiaoyao. XY Doesn't even know the good things he did for her before he died. Until his last breath it's XY who he really loves. Only her and it's one sided.
It would have been better and less painful if their last meeting they were able to say goodbye to each other and spend some time, talk about the things they did together instead of a misunderstanding and. But yeah they made my man suffer without experiencing Happiness:((

cangxuan's obsession is really unnecessary, he's so devoted that after all the wives he have he only loves xiaoyao. And it's only him who never stand a chance to be loved romantically. Among all the male leads, he's the only one who never had and will never have a chance. She loves Jing, she once consider to choose Xiangliu, almost marry feng long. But it's cangxuan who is obsessed, whom xiaoyao's see as a brother and a family she can lean on.

Really gege, just choose who among your wives to favor on, not your dear meimei lol

Cangxuan's obsession to XY is so unnecessary, why can't he stay as her brother he's ruining their relationship, can't he be like XL who love xiaoyao silently but express his love through action and support her happiness. He also knows that they are too forbidden and XY sees him as her brother but still forcing himself. I really love their brother and sister relationship.

Plus, the more I watch this drama, the more I feel sad for xiangliu my poor man is suffering. (I only want a good ending for this nine headed demon, cuz he deserves it literally and really:((

he's love is unconditional, selfless and pure, he will always be my favorite character. He deserves a happy life and a better ending even without XY

I am waiting two of Bai lu's drama, first is the moonlight mystique and this. But this actually seems more interesting and more angst. But I need to wait longer, maybe next year or two until the release date.

They really love making love lol, they even throw the cat out of the room. I want this kind of relationship!!

Honestly you're right, XY's goal in this story is to be with a man and be lovey dovey. In this drama full of politics and problem, she's just there waiting for the love of her life. I actually expected her to interfere more in politics to support CX or XL

Chichen and xiaoyao's mom story is actually interesting, though it's a painful story but actually interesting. Honestly, I'm looking for more of their story like how the world see chi chen as a devil but actually he's just misunderstood like XL(And they will have the same fate in the end) but I guess they will not dig more of the past cuz there are only few episodes left

Can we all agree that Xiangliu's love is so pure and unselfish. He's always there for xiaoyao, she's her silent protector and loving her from afar is enough. He don't expect her to love him back, he's just there for her without expecting anything, he's contented whatever makes Xiaoyao's happy even in another man's comfort, he's not jealous of jing because he knows to himself that they are too forbidden. Though he can't prioritize her first because of his loyalty and responsibilities, but when xiaoyao needs someone or she's in danger, xiang liu will find a way to protect or comfort his beloved. He will always find a way and do everything he can for xiaoyao. It's just that the world between them is too forbidden and to complicated to end up together. I'm in an acceptance stage for xiang liu and xiaoyao, I just hope the writer will give the nine headed demon a better ending, atleast make him happy.

(guys I know I'm so hopeless romantic and too affected of characters, I can't even sleep because of this drama😭)

I'm waiting for English subtitle for the few last episode. And the more I continue watching this drama The more I feel sad to Li chuan. He doesn't deserve everyone in that past life(except Qin zhenzhen ofc), him and QZ story is actually interesting. I feel so sorry to those two, QZ is such a pure soul:((

I just noticed the character of Zhang linghe has much less screen time now in new episodes. And his character's role is becoming like a supporting character, he's there to support Li Rong, go along with her plans, help her and be lovey dovey with her but I want something more? I mean can his character be like rongqing who's like a mastermind but not as enemy of Li rong. Like how Xie Wei is (ZLH other role) no one can hurt his girl and no one can harm him, he's too smart to be deceived and too dangerous to become an enemy. There are still other remaining episodes so I'm waiting for an improvement not just to PW but to the whole drama too.

The palace drama is stressful literally, Why SRQ needs to be reincarnated too like gurllll I thought this drama is a second chance for them, what's the purpose of second chance to SRQ he will just become more dangerous and a threat to the leads.

I don't know why I feel sorry to Li chuan the most, he wants nothing but peace and happiness he don't even want the throne. Though the latest episode revealed that he killed her sister. But gurllll before he became evil he suffered the most. I hope Li rong will not turn her back on her brother, the current chuan is innocent and kind:((

Their father the Emperor is getting on my nerves, he sees his children as his enemies. He really favors consort rou. At the early episodes, I thought this emperor is smart and has plan to support ring and chuan but he's just a totally useless man

I actually want him to move on and stays as xiaoyao's gege and be happy, I really love their non romantic relationship. But it seems like he's not that type of person, he is becoming more obsessive to xiaoyao

That's true, even right now he have so many wives lol. But sadly he can't have the one he truly loves and the reason why he wants power. He's powerful but can't have it all:((

I'm really hurting for cangxuan and and xiangliu the two of them will suffer until the end. (XY have TJ on her side) but those two have big responsibility and both trying to protect XY and it seems like their ending will be hurtful for me.

(Off topic but both Cang xuan and Xiangliu's eyes always caught me they both have that charisma, like gurl I can stare at their eyes for hours and will not be tired. They are the plot of this drama rawrrr)
