I enjoyed the drama, but hated their romance. I enjoyed when the two of them schemed together, but their romance was fully not enjoyable for me because it fully uses tropes from dark romance (so YMMV) and while the FL comes around the him, it's very much a "she's the only one who understands this misunderstood man and she can help and fix him" type of trope which you might enjoy, but as I said, typical of dark romance tropes. I don't want to say it spoiled the show for me, but it definitely dampened my enjoyment.

It's apparently started to release on HBO Max from what I can see.

9 months later, but apparently it's a common thing in Japan. Still super weird and invasive, but yeah, pretty common from my understanding.

If you want to watch it illegally, that's your choice, but this is not the place to ask. Just go where you usually get your dramas. If you don't want to pay for this one, you probably have watched others illegally as well. It'll be there too.

They might not have to wait a full year. Love Like the Galaxy only had a few weeks iirc between their "seasons", although that was a few years ago (but after they changed the rule to limit drama length).

Some people dropped it and put down bad ratings which is putting the overall rating down. I've had people watch it and hate it because they are straight people who want the escapism of BL with none of the reality of being queer. My queer ass who cried for every episode of this masterpiece and wrote a 2000-word review about how perfect it was is smh... I am disappointed, but not surprised because we can't have good things.

I'm really hoping it gets better in the drama because you can't really say much with such a show teaser, but I can't imagine the main actor as the ML having read the Webtoon. He looks too young and cute (and similar for the FL even if less so). I hope I'll be proven wrong because I'm really looking forward to this drama having really liked the Webtoon.

Tbh if they follow the Webtoon, there's both a curse and the multiple personality disorder due to trauma.

I completely agree and my feelings exactly! It could have been an interesting take too. Beauty pageant competition are places with a lot of women in very close quarter, just like girl schools, the potential for GL is there, but this wasn't it.

One of the characters who is in a wheelchair is faking it and can walk.

A note for people wanting to watch and wanting a warning because it broke the show for me, but they make use of a very ableist trope so if that's something that you're also sensitive to, beware. (Posting under a spoiler in the next message as it happens in the last couple of episodes)

It depends on the drama. I think I read somewhere that they hadn't finished filming so months, but it's chinese dramaland so we don't even know if it'll end up being released or not and when. Never trust a date until the drama has actually dropped.

There is a couple of sex scenes in the extras of vol. 1 (although not sure if those were included in the printed version as I don't have it yet).

I'm so intrigued about what will happen in episode 6 given what we've already seen.

Not going to be writing a full review of this. It was cute, but honestly a bit confusing. It felt like part 2 of a longer story with some references to things either unsaid or that I completely missed (while being clearly labelled 'Short film'). Still cute and I am always trying to support videos by producers of wlw content so that they can get bigger and hopefully get more funding and better stories in the future.
