In regards to the Thailand trip, the FL was almost as bad here. She knew that her running to the SML when he fell off the horse had caused the ML to misunderstand things. So what does she do, she constantly spends time alone with the 2ML, even runs away with him. He hangs outside her bedroom almost every day it seems and she does nothing to put up boundaries. Even when she finds out his interest in her, she will spend time alone with him, allow him into her bedroom. For every fault with the ML, she was guilty of her own imo.
I often have second lead syndrome, but not in this one. Not that Shin is that great, but I can't stand Yul. Always…
It consistently bothered me that he was always hanging around outside her bedroom (and even walked into her bedroom when she was asleep and just stood there alone watching her) and no one said anything. Even the FL should have been putting up a boundary there. He was everywhere at the palace as if he owned the place and no-one told him to get out. FFS he even accompanied the FL when she was reprimanded by the Queen. Not even the Crown Prince seemed to have that ability.
I know right ...I was exciting watching this drama...and I loved it and still love it,it has a nice and interesting…
My issue with the Thai remake is that the FL portrayed her character like she was 7 years old. At least in the Korean version the female lead felt like a teenager.
lol u are just in the first episodes. Wait and see, his character developement is really well done.
I do not dislike the 2ml because of the ml or any attachment to a OTP, I dislike the 2ml because I disagree with you about hand-waving his original motives away. His original motive was to use the FL purely in an effort to hurt his ex-friend and he did not gaf if she was hurt in the process. She dared to be liked by someone he disliked so in his mind she was fair game to be treated like shit. He is little different from those bullies who kidnapped her. Fuck that sort of character trait. He went there. That speaks volume about his character.
huh? I did not get that he was hung up on Han Hui at all. From episode 7 or 8 he decided the FL was for him and…
I think that was more forcing him to get off his arse and make a move. He was constantly trying to be vague and not express his feelings towards the female lead outright which left her confused and unsure about him, but that did not mean he was hung up on Han Hui. But I guess you saw it quite differently.
Wait so the FL was the original one who saved the ML at the beginning, not the ex-girlfriend. This is crazy how…
Han Hui did not lie the entire time that she saved him. She only found out that Feimo thought she had saved him at the dinner with the mum and the FL. And if i remember correctly, the FL explains at the end that she had saved a bunch of people on that beach.
But I actually hated that plotline. It did not make sense as this happened before Han Hui was a famous actress, but it required Han Hui to be already a famous actress to make sense. It was the ML and his company who made her famous because he thought she was his rescuer, yet the FL got a fake tattoo because she saw it on the famous Han Hui lol.
I'd like this more if the ML was more into the FL than the other woman (Han Hui), even 20+ episode into the drama…
huh? I did not get that he was hung up on Han Hui at all. From episode 7 or 8 he decided the FL was for him and she was the only one he showed any real interest in. Han Hui was hung up on him, but he offered nothing to her in the way of encouragement. In fact he discouraged her interest from the start.
I loved Jiayi but did not like Yun Zhou at all. He constantly lied to her, then would gaslight her so she would believe it was all her fault. I absolutely hated him in episode 20 when she caught him talking about how easy she was to chase then he discovered she had overheard, he proceeded to blame her for not "knowing" him.
Is it fluffy, light, or dramatic? also, is the male lead cute or funny, and is the female lead stupid, unlucky,…
It is fluffy and light. The male lead is just as stupid as the female lead imo (in regards to love) and his antics can be funny at times when he is trying to chase the female lead. The female lead is not smart, but neither is she a moron either, and she is actually lucky and competent at what she does (except when she pretends to be a nurse but that only lasts for about 5 episodes.
does he find out she was paid to lie and does he get mad??
He pretty much knows from the start, and even before the contract ends (episodes 7-9) he is pretty much chasing her. This is very much a "male chases female first" tag.
ML is a Malaysia born Singaporean; the Mandarin accent is very different from that of Mainland China (PRC) . Even…
The annoying thing is, the default dubbing accent is the Beijing accent which tends to sound like people speaking with marbles in their mouths. Virtually any other Mandarin accent would be better than choosing the slurry marble speaking accent of Beijing.
lol u are just in the first episodes. Wait and see, his character developement is really well done.
I am up to episode 8. His "character development" does not negate the fact he tried to get into a relationship with a girl he had no positive feelings for, JUST to hurt someone else. That displays what sort of character he truly is no matter what "development" he gets. Him later on developing feelings for her does not negate he was trying to use her (with no care if she would get hurt) in the first place.
The male lead is trash. As the reviews have said poor actor and trash character. The guy is an incel who does not like women but has no problem using them for sex. And has no issue with using his ability to get other men laid. If you are looking for an incel fantasy, this is your drama.
I am surprised he did not become the main love interest in Kill Me, Heal Me. You know in Korea, China & Thailand it seems any sort of sibling relationship without a biological connection is "destined to be a OTP" according to dramaland.
I really do like the two main characters but cannot stand Han Seo Jun. He is just an obnoxious brat. I just cannot help thinking those who do like the character, like him purely for his appearance.
you all r a bit too nitpicking on the ml, yes he did some questionable things in the 1st few eps and the fl called…
um, how many do you consider the "first few" episodes? There is only 6 episodes out and despite liking the show, the ML still was being incredibly creepy in the 5th episode (thatclub scene was all kinds of uncomfortable). In fact, I generally find ALL of the male characters in this drama seem to have very strong icky/creepy tendencies.
I am just constantly switching between finding the male lead sweet and finding him icky. I know they wanted that club scene to be sweet but I just found it incredibly icky and uncomfortable.
