U should def watch the currently airing cdrama ‘Love is Sweet’. The leads there is the most cutest couple…
Love IS Sweet is about a stalker who gets his crush who does not like him, kicked out of her home then manipulates things to trick her into moving into his home. It is a stalker fantasy.

Is this drama as sweet as Perfect and Casual??
No. The male lead here is the source of a lot of the female leads troubles. Perfect & Casual that was not really the case.

She does and i think thats the beauty of hers, like when she ends up having nothing and then to finding herself…
I feel like the ML is the cause of her feeling like a failure

Perfect & Casual. Hotel Trainees is just not good.

I don't know why is that weird... In my country (Portugal) that's also very normal to do. We can either eat it…
Yeah, I am from New Zealand and peeling apples is not something anyone would notice as out of the ordinary. Some people eat it with the skin, some do not. It's not something you pay attention to.

I zoned out a few episodes in, I feel like the female lead and the second male lead was carrying the whole time.…
Jerry can not act in most things. He usually relies on his co-stars to lift his performance. BUT neither Shen Yue or Miles Wei are good enough actors to do that in this drama.

I think you just don't like Tong Xiaoyou, not the actual female lead actress. Shen Yue is actually incredible…
I think "young" is a terrible excuse. Rosy Zhao, Eleanor Lee, Lu Zhao Hua, Wan Peng, Xu Ruo Han, Sun Qian, are all around her age or younger and they are much better actresses. Not that Shen Yue is bad, but she is not good either. But then here she is squeezed between two actor I do not think are very good either (Jerry Yan and Miles Wei).

I like this version enough, but I still prefer the Japanese 2003 version better.
Is this version better than the 2017 version? I will give this a go if the dynamic is more like the original 2003 version but hard pass if has a dynamic more in line with the 2017 version. The 2003 version was great. The 2017 was not. The dynamic had totally changed in the 2017 version and it was more that she was his nursemaid than he was her pet. She actually lost agency in the 2017 version.

I love this. Rewatching it again and there are only two characters I consistantly find annoying.

[1] The FL's oldest sister (a typical Korean leech family member). FFS your baby sister supported the entire family and bailed your father out of bankruptcy and paid for your schooling. By what metric do you have the right to tell her how to live her life and that you are like her mother.

[2] The male lead's mother. Terrible parent in the present and the past. Her terrible parenting caused the male lead to suppress himself and then in the present after the fallout from that again she asks him to do it again just because the brother likes his girlfriend

I love the original, but after watching the first episode of 2017, it really feels like the dynamic has shifted…
That's disappointing. The major theme running through the original was that she felt she had no agency in her life but with Momo, she did have agency. The first episode of 2017 gave her no agency at all with Momo so I have been wary about continuing on with it.

I really hated the fact that first episode where he took her to her apartment because she was drunk and just stayed and slept in the same bed, instead of the originals first meeting of her finding him hurt & unconscious in the rain and her dragging him inside. 2003 Momo respected her from the start. 2017 Momo does not.

And he deliberately targeted and stalked her whilst being aware of who she was and her age from the start. The…
It is implied he was a friend of the father when she was a little girl, suggesting the character is early 30s at least and her character is still in school. When he mets her in the show he comments how she has "grown up" and he starts pursuing her immediately after that. Age difference usually do not bother me but all he knew of her was her as a little girl and her current appearance, That is more than icky.

That is one of my most hated tropes in Asian drama. The male lead making the female lead his maid. It pops up everywhere and I can not help seeing its as not just a sexist trope, but an extremely sexist trope.

does it has good kissing scene like love now or is it just platonic?
I know this is late, but the kissing scenes are just your average lip-presses. They are not pecks, they last a decent amount of time, but they are still just faces & lips being pressed together rather than proper kissing.

When I first watched it it wasn't so bad at the beginning but then it start dragging. I hated the second…
I liked the second couple, up until the husband cheated - being drunk is not an excuse. I really liked his wife as a character though. I really disliked the third couple pretty much from the start as I did not like the cousin at all from the start.

it dragged SO much..... spend more than 10 episodes praying for something interesting. bohai was the only thing…
Bohai frustrated and annoyed me. He was mainly used as a writers tool to cause unnecessary drama/angst. For example the male lead has finally "confessed" to the female lead. Bohai states in his inner monologue that he wants to get them together.

So what does Bohai do?;
a) Nothing, thus letting things carry on naturally;
b) pushes them closer together to speed things up; or
c) deliberately says something to the male lead that he knows will cause the ML to back off and stall things?

If you choose anything but c) you have not been paying attention to what Bohai's purpose in the show is. He is there purely as a mechanism for the writer to increase the drama.

Secondary couple???? Thanks in advance
There is two secondary couples. The first one includes the male lead's brother and honestly it is the best secondary couple up until the brother cheats on his wife. His wife is still my favourite of the secondary characters though. The second secondary couple includes the male lead's cousin, and is a lot more tiresome, though there is no cheating with them. I just find the male lead of the third couple a bit frustrating.

Can you spoil it for me, a previous comment says that the male lead lies all the time, whats thay about? And what…
Eh, I have seen 9 episodes so far and you are being disingenuous at best. For the vast majority of those 9 episodes he IS a shifty, sneaky liar. If he is a "good character that cares, encourages, protects" he is only doing it in the last couple of episodes I have watched. So if he continues as he is in those last couple of episodes then we have a 50/50 split of him being a lying arsehole vs what you said.

And how the fuck is not your typical main character? He is very much so stereotypical he might as well have come out of a cookie cutter.

Does the female lead's friends ever start to feel like friends? I am one episode in and I already dislike them both because it is obvious neither have very much respect for her especially the male friend.

Seriously? I went through 122 episodes to get that scene that lasted less than 2 minutes in the last episode?…
Do you have any daily dramas that you do recommend? Preferably ones with good romances. I have only seen a couple that I liked (My Father is Strange & Ugly Alert). I was going to watch this one but your recommendation has turned me off it (Not a fan of romances only happening at the end)

ENDING IS SOMETHING SUNWOO WOULD DOSunwoo, when coming home to Rara would always stop in front of the school,…
He will not support Rara unless he is taken care of first according to you. If he gets a cold, he will disappear for a day without notice ACCORDING TO YOU. If he gets the flu he will disappear without notice for a a week or two. If he breaks a leg he will disappear for months ACCORDING TO YOU. He is only willing to be with Rara when he is at his best. He is all ab out hiding himself from her unless it is his best. That is not romantic. That is goddamn toxic. Financial troubles, illnesses, FFS a bad hair day are all part of life. IF he is someone so unrealiable that he disappears every time something is wrong he should just disappear for good. You have just described an incredible toxic and selfish indivual.
