To be honest, why they don’t put the sweets on the very last episode. Now too much sweets on ep 45-46, it’s like wanting us to expect something big will happen after that. Curious, excited, and also scary 😟.

My groceries “ to buy list” 🥲 are several packs of toilet tissues for sad ending and face tissues for happy ending (or a handkerchief for a very happy ending because I don’t need to wipe that much tears 🤣).

I thought there is no way HS and FJM have a baby. Now it seems very possible. But I hope it would not end like Princess Weiyoung. I don’t want HS left alone with their child.

HS seems to find the mermaid to cure FJM, and FJM seems finally agree to break the baixi contract with emperor, I hope it indicates hope for a happy ending, not a temporary happiness before the final storm.

Yeah and no matter what types of illness or poison, the first indication is always coughing blood. 😁 the symptoms are pretty much similar with tuberculosis 😂.

All Chinese people are so great in historical dramas, they can detect and diagnose any illness, pregnancy, poisoning, or if there are any foreign objects such as needles just from feeling heartbeat located in their wrist 🤣😂🤣. Also detoxification or delaying poison spreading only through acupuncture 🤣🤣🤣.

Agree!! In order to keep watching this drama, I also have abandoned all hopes related to love between main leads.

I don’t know why after watching ep 34 onwards, I started to like the emperor. He encouraged FJM to live with HS, asking him to rethink again many times before HS officially became a concubine.

In my opinion Novoland Pearl Eclipse is the best among all Novoland series so far, maybe because the casts in this drama are all outstanding and most of them are good looking.

William Chang is very fortunate, his drama with the very beautiful Liu Shi Shi in Lost Love in Times was considered successful in getting good ratings. In this drama, he also partnered with Yang Ming, who is also beautiful and gorgeous, that's why this drama, despite of high possibility in having dark ending, still attracts lots of watcher, fans, and still maintains good ratings so far.

I watched this drama up to episode 10, this drama wasn’t bad at all, but I still love Chen Xing Xu better with Peng Xiao Ran in Goodbye My Princess.

It’s very common for Chinese Dramas to have an open ending, especially related to wars and tragedy.

Actually I am a big fan of Shawn Dou, he has true talent how to act. Especially when I watched the Legend of Xiao Chuo. I was truly amazed how he showed how much he was hurt, felt betrayed, mad, and broken. Also many of his dramas that I’ve watched so far, he always exceeded my expectations.

I would like ask your opinion. The emperor seems loving Tilan very much, based on the latest teasers, when HS enters his harem, in my eyes, emperor hugs her as if he is forced to accept HS becoming his concubine.
(I become more certain that the emperor has no affection towards HS, and it’s also different from what the synopsis tells us).

I would like to recommend you to watch Jun Jiu Ling after this to heal you after finishing this drama. 😊😊😊 From beginning towards the end gives you satisfactions. The ending is also perfect.

I think for the very first c costume drama experience, it would be better if you choose a completed drama with good rating. Because the ratings come from people who mostly have watched the whole episodes, so their reviews and ratings are more accurate to determine if the drama is worth watching or not.

When the story was still getting better on the earlier episodes, I really craved for more. Now every time new teasers are posted, I’m more worried than curious for what will happen next.

😭😭😭 I just saw teasers episode 37 and 38. HS and shifu ‘s relationship gets even worse, and shifu’s health deteriorates so fast, vomiting lots of blood.

I become more and more certain the ending would not be a HE, just like everybody said how the novel would end. In the end my final hope is just an opened ending for the drama. Not a sad one but open for many fans’ interpretations.

Better prepare many rolls of toilet tissues, face tissues aren’t enough 🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Yeah, not only letting the girl’s hair down makes everyone realise she is, but also having the girl’s hair tied up makes everyone assume she is a handsome man just because having a girly face. 🤣

Oooh thank you. But I hope this drama won’t be an opened ending, and trully hope won’t also be a sad one as dark as the novel. But I think an opened ending like in Bloody Romance would be better than a sad ending. Of course HE would be best (although the possibility is somehow the smallest among all possible endings).

All of my previous theories of the reasons how HS is found out are wrong LOL😂 (not because she’s being spotted by the emperor while wearing a dress, or not because somebody who agaist FJM reports her to the emperor to be punished for deceiving the monarch). Never thought FJM is the one who reveal her identity.
