lol same both actors are just so straight in real life that them kissing, it's almost unimaginable to me i hope…
I don't think that's what they were alluding to, to be honest. As mentioned by Pincolino before, some actors have no chemistry when they're not acting but when they are, they have amazing chemistry. It has nothing to do with whether they're straight and have girlfriends; they're acting as gay men. I think Reefpicker was more saying that it can still be an accurate portrayal even though they're not kissing, or even that if they do kiss, the acting may be very realistic ^^
I don't think an overarching plot, especially one that is based on actions that could well take place in reality, can really be plagiarised. It's different if all of the subplots are also copied, and if character personalities are very similar. But if a basic idea like "someone poor begins to work for someone rich" can be copyrighted... Well, we'd only have 1/10 of the tv series and films we have now.
Agreed. Any producer would cast him. He did this to co-star. hmmm
I don't think many people would share the same thought, and I don't think that makes them unproffesional. Remember it's also professional to think about your career and try to avoid tarnishing it. Of course I don't know all of what happened between Mew and Art, but I understand if other actors - and even producers - have reservations now.
Doesn't he usually go by his Chinese name? Why is it his English name on the profile, I was so confused thinking "wow he looks familiar but I don't know of an actor called Allen" d:
I've read a few comments regarding the sideplots. Honestly, I'm enjoying them... I feel like arcs about the nurse, the prosecutor, etc. actually all interrelate really well. Pretty sure the intention is to show different (and changing) perspectives of euthanasia.
I think it was explained in the previous episode. It has something to do with the treatment of the labyrinthitis…
Ahh but that's what I meant. A lot of the time the condition doesn't actually even require treatment at all...? This is what I'm not understanding hahah I understand that the medicinal treatment could pose a risk for someone with CIPA but even if it did have to be treated, there are non-medicinal treatments (rebab) which can help.
I was just trying to work out if there was something else or if it was just something that I shouldn't think too realistically into? hahaha ^^ thank you though
@AnnitsAnn @forxukun You guys too, thank you :-)
e. Oh, we can't tag? Any hopefully y'all see this!
Yo Han's sickness (not CIPA but viral Labyrinthitis) isn't as drastic as it's being made out to be, for his doctor to say he has little time left to be a doctor and for Yo Han himself to tell Si Young that he definitely won't get better. Did I miss something? Was it translated wrong?
Although I wonder if the Cleveland Clinic part was to show that he's thinking of running away because he doesn't want to get closer to people and have his death hurt them.
BUT I really am curious if this will have a sad ending... Like, if Yo Han will choose assisted death/euthanasia? It kind of seems like that is where it's going... at the very least it seems to be where the writers want us to think it's going hahah
The OST is good. Ji Sung's acting is good. Everything just works so well... We're not even halfway through and I already really, really don't want this to end.
and what is ridiculous situation? XD you nowdays watchers are soo silly and interesting... if something didn't…
There are a lot of occurrences in dramas which truly are unbelievable and unrealistic. I don't think this way just because they are things that haven't happened to me but because they are things which rarely - or never - happen to anyone.
Whether someone chooses to ignore these things and keep watching, whether they actually enjoy these touches, whether it stops them from enjoying and thus watching a drama... that's determined by personal preference. It doesn't matter if someone is "new" to watching dramas or not. There is no right way to watch a drama and you don't gain any ability in doing so no matter how many years you have been watching them. Art in any form is never going to be liked by everyone; if someone doesn't like a movie or show or song, they don't have to watch or listen to it. There's nothing wrong with that.
The attitude of your comment comes across as really negative and unkind even though I don't think you exactly meant it to.
While I have no opinion of this pairing because they're gonna go ahead with this drama despite our opinions, the…
Honestly I'm not a fan of such a large age gap, especially if the younger half of the pairing plays an immature character which emphasises the age difference (not sure if that will happen here).
But whoever made this comment "Jerry Yan kissing Shen Yue in the drama would be child abuse or child molestation!!" really needs to take a step back. 22 isn't a child and if they did end up kissing it would be scripted, consensual, so it's just a very inappropriate and insensitive comment to make ;;
Is she half British, 1/4 Thai and 1/4 Chinese?
