lmao for real? holy shit, there is no way i'm watching it for real then. i feel like i probably would've come back to it otherwise but... yeah, no thanks!

Even more, all of it happens in the first half of the first episode. It was like one tragedy after the other again and again and again, ahahah And I was really hoping to enjoy this drama!
Usually I love cheesy dramas but this... this was just plain bad! And I only watched the first 30 minutes.
In those 30 minutes: someone died, someone became an amnesiac, someone had a heart transplant, someone's identity was stolen, there was a fire and someone's parent abandoned them.
The fire scene was so funny though. Everything about it was bad. The characters finally ran out of the fire but their clothes were all fine, not alight or anything... and then people threw water on them. I was freaking crying, what the heck
This is one of my favourite dramas for sure, it's such a breath of fresh air. And I'm glad to have discovered Dong Ha! He's so cute and acts really well~
I love all this tropes, but I would add the the ugly duckling trope: girl with low self steem fall for an "apparently"…
The "ugly duckling" aka the beautiful woman or man who wears glasses and dresses poorly and maybe has bad hair. I like the trope too and I understand not casting someone who truly isn't very attractive (because most actors are attractive, there's usually a transformation from "ugly" to beautiful and because imagine casting for a role like that; "we need someone who is ugly". I mean I might be able to get cast for that role although I'd cry about it a little bit for sure lmao).
But sometimes it feels weird when they're not even average looking but super, super attractive and then give them a bad hat and all of a sudden people can't even bear to look at them ahahahah~
The gender bender trope is definitely one of my favourites. I think it stems from Coffee Prince being one of my "gateway" dramas, lmao. It feels nostalgic to watch gender bender dramas now~
